Stromkirk Noble vs Legion Loyalist? I feel like the Loyalist can be insane in certain board positions, and I also like the fact that it acts as a suedo-spell. Stromkirk just seems meh to me, but people seem to play him more

Unpowered Cube, work in progress, but getting there!

I think it depends on what the Cube needs. Stromkirk is amazing turn 1 and can get out of hand rather quick if hes not dealt with. Hes also not a great top deck like most 1 drops. Loyalist on the other hand is a card you really dont want to play turn 1 but later in the game when the Battalion is more likely to go off and possibly end the game with Trample damage. I run both in my modern 360.
Loam Lion for sure. There's enough better 5-drops in those colors, and a cube going 5 gold cards deep is big enough to need as many good aggro 1-drops as it can get.
There's also Take Possession. Honestly in a cube like that, I think Confiscate for the jump from 5-6 mana, with the power to steal PW, is a better option. Honestly though I don't know, cause than it is 6 mana, and what will you be stealing that is worth that 6 mana investment.
Loam Lion by a country mile. Sigarda, while awesome, just gets lost in the slog of 5-7 cost green and/or white finishers, while Loam Lion is a key piece in a lot of decks.
For us if a PW wast stolen, Confiscate wasnt worth it. Problem we are having is that even with the high density of PWs we have never seen one stolen in a game and Confiscate has been played a lot. Im going to be switching it for Bribery.

That is what I was thinking about this card, same with Volition Reigns. Thinking I might just use a different blue card. Thanks for the advice everyone.

So, until recently I didn't run any dual lands. (I now run the shocks, yay!) Would you still rate Loam Lion over Sigarda?

That's a little tougher, but the real question is, do you see WG aggro at all? How about WG quickish midrange? If you do, then Loam Lion is still the way to go, but if not, then Sigarda (or Knight of the Reliquary?) might be better choices.
If you play a lot of reanimation decks, I'd go with Griselbrand simply because once he hits the board he's amazing. If you play more black midrange decks, I'd play Massacre Wurm. But I agree with OP_Forever than Tombstalker is better than both.
I wasn't considering Tombstalker in the 6 plus area just because he can be a variable. He def plays different in constructed though compared to cube. usually i expect him to be around 5 mana or so.
I know this is off topic in this forum but in a 450 unpowered cube around how many 6 plus creatures do you believe should be there?
Currently my breakdown for 6 plus is
Green: 3
Red: 1
Black: 2 unless you include tombstalker then 3 ,but I may I just make it 2
Blue: 2
White: 2

I'm not really tempted by Loyalist and have no play experience with it.
I'd go with this package -
Kor Haven
Faerie Conclave
Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth
Ghitu Encampment
Gaea's Cradle
Over the other options you presented.

But in my cube, Loam Lion is usually a dead card while Sigarda is trouble.

If you support green aggro loam lion is infinitely more important. If you don't support it sigarda is infinitely better

Mind Control or Confiscate or something better?
I already run Vedalken Shackles and Sower of Temptation

I personally like Volition Reins as a similar card to these.

As Black's 2nd 6 mana or greater finisher in my cube. Currently have Grave Titan as my other.
Griselbrand seems like a better reanimation or ramp target ,but massacre wurm may see more play just because of the lower mana cost on it.
I've had both in my cube at the same time ,but I wanted to reduce the amount of 6 Mana cost or greater in my cube.
