The skynight might be the best of the detain cards. Definitely plays well with UW blink. Guildmage has the option to affect noncreature permanents however and that might make it better than the skyknight.
It's for my EDH cube, so draw-7 type effects are always awesome, but blue is also running Time Spiral, and it's rather tight, so I don't think I have room for three. I'm torn between the graveyard shenanigans-enabling Windfall and the grave-hating Twister.

I like the gy hate of Timetwister more, but I'd say run both and cut something else.
My cube group complained last time about the power level of Sundering Titan. Are there any good replacements for it in terms of a reanimation/tinker target and big colourless bomb? My only other colourless creature bomb right now is Myr Battlesphere (Wurmcoil Engine isn't in for power level reasons). Any advice?
I was very pleased to cut Golgari Signet. The main reason was that the card that will most encourage me to play GB is Pernicious Deed, and that doesn't play nicely with mana rocks.

One of the giant Darksteel guys could replace Sundering Titan as a Tinker target, but they aren't really playable outside of the combo unless you have a super-ramp green section.
I quite like Utopia Sprawl. You can even play it turn two with a second green source to access the mana immediately. It can be problematic if you run a lot of LD in your cube.

Triskelavus is an entertaining card if you want a bomb that isn't actually that bomby.

Both have regen, one has flash, the other hexproof. 1 toughness different too, which is surprisingly (or not) annoying for the troll. I'm cutting one to make room for a 2 power 1 drop
The Troll is way better. In creature battles Wolfir might be pretty good, but some decks have a lot of problems with Hexproof. So much that it for me, this comparison is not even close.
Wolfir Avenger is more flashy (derp) but I like Ascetic more for the reasons Rant mentions. It's just a resilient creature.
I agree with this. Troll is undervalued because it was never great in standard, in cube it's a fantastic creature. Mana elf -> Troll -> some equipment, rancor, +1/+1 counters, etc is pretty insane.
I like Shelldock and Gemstone more than Conclave. Shelldock is ultra-powerful and shouldn't even be questioned. IMO it's between Gemstone and Conclave. I personally like Gemstone better for 3, 4, or 5 color decks. It also helps aggressive decks that have heavy color requirements such as W/B aggro, or Naya aggro.
I'm not giant on Conclave to begin with, but I think it's significantly worse than the other two (especially Shelldock Isle). Tapped lands in blue aren't what you necessarily want, and the 2/1 flyer is kind of out of place. That being said, I'd probably cut a blue card for it because I like lots of nonbasics in my cube - but that's not what you're asking.
Opposition no question. The card is incredibly powerful and creates unique archetype builds. The other three are good, but not nearly as cube-worthy or fun. Just for kicks, here's my ranking of them:
Encampment + Ring
Treetop Village +
Outpost + Haven
Urborg
Ruins (but I'd play both)
thanks for your inputs.
wow just curious on your evaluation on the Green lands. What would make you pick 1 of them. I have a seismic assault/loam for the Thicket, Yavimaya Hollow is found in the WOTC cube, well Arbor because of Zenith. If nothing is good enough then too bad for Green i guess...

I'd play both Treachery and Bribery, but I think Treachery is stronger.
I'd play the Guildmage over the Skyknight.

I'd play Mine and Conclave for most cubes here, perhaps Isle over Conclave if your cube is slower.
Opposition is the best of those 4 cards, but I like them all quite a bit. I think Rift is my least favorite.
