Personal opinion is at cube sizes of 450 on down - there isn't sufficient space to adequately support green ramp and green aggro. Of the two, ramp is the stronger package. I'd keep all of these and swap out a lot of the aggro pieces.
I'd cut Braids and Custodi Lich from the black creatures listed.

I definitely feel this hard. Try to push for green aggro and ramp and I think green as a whole is hurt a lot. Mana dork is more beloved in most decks. Probably more spaces in bigger cube but not enough for 360.
hi! what do you guys think about crystal shard nowadays in a 720 legacy+ environment? I'm searching something to cut for the new transmogrant's crown, I use to include high percent of ETB and blink effects so paradoxically I remember erratic portal existence and I think about include both or don't play any
Maybe I could also cut something like mindstone cause I play all signets so fixing is etablished, or maybe coercive portal?
(sorry for strange english)
Some advice about academy ruins and volrath's stronghold, played both of them since long time, but when draft, seem's like there are a bit too slow now for great activations, did some cubers have already cut them?

Volrath's Stronghold has been a bit too slow and decks that would want it cannot afford to play a colorless land
Academy Ruins doesn't have that problem as artifact.dec can generally afford to play 2-3 colorless lands. It's also a lot stronger as artifact decks can often flood out and thus having a land to generate value can be strong. It can also serve as a combo with MindSlaver, which comes up quite often.
I think Academy Ruins is good, but I def think its days are numbered.

Abrupt Decay vs Assassin's Trophy vs Pulse in powered cube.
I've been unimpressed by how frequently Abrupt Decay misses important targets and removing a moxen/ mana dork or talisman feels like a losing proposition at best.

I cut Abrupt Decay ages ago. As you said, there have been too many instances of it missing the must-remove card in my opponents strategy that neither instant speed nor uncounterability made up for it. Since I'm unpowered, sniping Power with it was never an option.
Assassin's Trophy vs. Maelstrom Pulse is difficult. The drawback on Trophy is very severe and whenever (admittedly rarely) the upside on Pulse comes up, it is very relevant. I personally would give the nod to Maelstrom Pulse, but only because 3 CMC is typically still low enough that I manage to catch the threat I'm concerned about before it goes out of hand.
For what it's worth, I'm still a huge fan of Pernicious Deed, especially since so many cards produce tokens these days.

I run all three Legions to Ash / Vindicate / Anguished Unmaking and they have all performed fairly well. I'm a bit of a sucker for the art on Anguished Unmaking ...
I remember we all thought Trophy was going to break every format, but gosh did it under perform initial expectations. I'm feel Abrupt Decay had a bit of the constructed vibe as when it was printed, it completely destroyed All-in Twin/ Delver/ Counterbalance- Top etc. I haven't seen it been playing for YEARS now lol.

Yeah, I regret that I didn't sell the foil copy I opened at the time.:banghead:
Are the three 3 CMC spells in Orzhov a reason to make you sway to Trophy in order to have a 2 CMC effect or Pulse for trusting the designspace?
Good to hear praise for Legions to Ashes!
I like abrupt decay mainly because it’s one of the few cheap answers to the busted 3 mana planeswalkers.
Being able to keep tempo against ramp and aggressive creatures is solid too.
It’s also a strong answer vs pester mite/exarch. That deck often tries to protect the combo via counter magic.
My fav golgari answer is tear asunder, but they all run fairly close together in power level.
The theory is Rabbit Battery can be played in both aggro and fatty cheat and Bomat can be played in both aggro and artifacts, however in my experience they were just tier 2 playables in both decks, never spectacular and were cards both decks can easily live without.

Yahenni's Expertiese - Yahenni's Expertiese seems to have aged well as there aren't that many 4 toughness creatures and it may even perform better than languish in black tempo decks. I've found the cast for free is at its best in cubes when people are playing 3c or 4c and cannot cast their splash color spell. Its rare you can get an Crashing Footfalls/ Ancestral Visions off it.
Extinction Event feels too difficult to take advantage of.
- Velomachus. Survives Wildfire, can be played as a control top end to present a 5/5 creature but also dig through time a removal. Aruelia feels too small for control/ reanimator, too expensive for aggro/ combo decks with Aurelia combos.

Survival of the Fittest is at its best in creature combo decks/ reanimator decks, its a often a miss in ramp decks as those decks cannot really 2 for 1 themselves. However, if you have Citscape Leveler/ Uro etc. in your deck, it significantly improves Survival.
If you don't run survival, then cut Cityscape.

Leveler did not initially strike me as impressive, but I've won games the moment I cast it. It's just a very strong investment for your mana, even if it lacks the synergies the other two cards have. As for how those rank ... I don't feel very strongly about them either way. Good big dudes to tinker out, with their subtle tradeoffs. Idol can close out a game in fewer swings if left unchallenged.
