Depends on what you are in the market for. Volley is a rare burn spell that can do 5 damage (triggering morbid isn't too hard). Arc Lightning is potential CA though and obviously better against tokens. Which does your meta need more?
It really boils down to how much creature combat goes on in your cube. Wave is super powerful in aggro and midrange decks and a really unique spell just in general. If your cube is more combo though (less creature and more spell specifically), fumigate could be more valuable specifically for the control/agro matchup.
I'd try and find room for Wave though as long as you have a lot of creature based decks. It does really fun things and there's nothing else quite like it. You can use it to remove blockers or to save your own guys from wrath/spot removal. Card is very versatile.
Personally, I really like Stormblood Berserker if you have a good amount of aggressive 1 cost creatures. If your 1 cost creatures aren't that plentiful or swing happy, then I'd go with Ire Shaman.
Thundermaw>>>>>>>>>>Stormbreath. Protection is nice and the monstrosity trigger can be brutal when it's activated, but being a 5/5 and clearing the way for an attack (plus decimating some boards when you're facing Meloku or Lingering Souls or etc) is consistently a LOT better.
Thundermaw >> Stormbreath. Not only is it a better card on its own in this format, but it also has important interactions with Languish, Wildfire and Burning of Xinye. Plus with all the cheap 1/1 flying tokens around, it's much harder to block and easier to get value from without it being color/matchup dependent.
I think Mentor is the more powerful of the two, and is of the best reasons to go for the spells matters archetype. Unless Recruiter fetches specific combo pieces, I'd go with the monk.
I think I would cut Soltari Champion before Recruiter and Monastery Mentor.
Recruiter is a unique effect and monastery mentor and soltari are both in the token theme, but the mentor > champion imo.
Cut one: Sarkhan Dragonspeaker: I already run Koth, Daretti, and Chandra, Torch of Defiance. Fireblast: Narrow, but I suppose it might be needed. War-name Aspirant: Red is already lacking in 2 drops, I don't know if I should be cutting this. Manic Vandal: I already run Release the Gremlins and Smash to Smithereens at 450, but there are so many targets in a powered cube. Fire Imp: Red Card advantage can be hard to get so perhaps this isn't the one to cut.
I'd move Porcelain Legionnaire to the 2-drops, cut Seeker of the Way and add Monastery Mentor without cutting Soltari Champion. If I had to choose between these 3, I'd probably cut Recruiter, but I might be undervaluing it, since I haven't played it or seen it in action yet.
I would do the same, but would cut Soltari Champion for Recruiter, too. If you play creatures you'd like to be able to fetch, Recruiter is golden. I love playing it in the BW Mean Girls deck as a tutor for Thalia 1, Thalia 2, or Braids. It also works well in plenty of other decks. Soltari Champion is fine, but it was my cut for Recruiter, and I don't miss it at all.

I like Sarkhan the least, it has less homes than the other cards and is interchangeable with other five drops in red and other colors. If Wildfire is big in your cube and lacks things that survive it, then perhaps Fire Imp.
What do you prefer? Valorous Stance or Stasis Snare? (I've asked before but the question got lost in the discussion)

Really smart ideas, ravnic and MikePemulis, thank you both! I have a feeling the effects of BOTH will completely satisfy my concerns of cutting Soltari Champion.
I think Valorous Stance because 3 mana is so stacked in white.
They're both two totally different cards: Nether Void is basically a black Armageddon and The Abyss is kind of a black Moat. I think Nether Void is more useful in black overall, it really helps black aggro shine.
I agree that they are totally different cards, but on a personal preference, I like The Abyss more. I never had much luck with Nether Void as "black's Armageddon" when I ran it. It never felt like the blowout that Armageddon usually is when it resolves. It was always seemed like the extra three added to each spell was more of a nuisance than anything. It's only truly black's Armageddon if you can curve into it and keep your opponent off their bigger spells for long enough for you seal the deal with your 2/2s. Casting later in the game was much less impactful than Armageddon. The Abyss, on the other hand, promotes an archetype all on it's own and also fits well into black aggro decks the same way that Braids does. There are so many black creatures that self recur to off set the sacrifice ability that, for me, it just makes sense that The Abyss is in the cube. Also, and this is personal to my own group, but Nether Void had a general decline in main deck percentage here, while The Abyss has remained a top performer.

Agreed here. I like both cards, but prefer Void between the two.

I'm at 450 powered and don't run Fireblast or Aspirant. That said, I'm pretty sure that I'm cutting Dragonspeaker when my Aether Revolt order arrives. With Koth, Daretti, Torch of Defiance, and Flamespeaker, I think I have enough red walkers. Even for Wildfire decks, the two Chandras and to a lesser extent Koth should be enough.

Considering cutting Soltari Champion (although I always feel there's a lack of token payoff).
Recruiter of the Guard vs. Monastery Mentor specifically at 360 size? Which is more essential here?
It might help to know I don't run Stoneforge Mystic.
