Leap is an excellent card, actually, and continues to blow me away. There are times where you can't hold up green, and then there are times where their removal just fills up your hand and your tokens draw you gas until they scoop. If it seems bad, then you probably haven't played it, because it's pretty awesome.
2. Puppeteer = Ob Reignited > Sidisi > Gary
Looking at other lists, Puppeteer Clique is kind of a pet card of mine, but I've been liking it a lot in my cube.
I'm not sold on Geistblast, but I hope it gets tested so we know how good it actually is. Keranos is actually pretty slow. I wasn't a fan. So I have to go with P Bolt even though that card is also a bit slow. I don't like any of these honestly.
If you support mono black, Gary is the best of those cards listed (especially if you can replay him which is not hard in black). And it's a fun deck to pilot. Sidisi is a good card and I enjoyed it while it was in my cube, but Clique is more interesting so I'd go with that one over it. No feedback on the walker.
Persecutor is really powerful. And it's not that hard to build a black deck that can get rid of him after he's wrecked your opponent. That is a fun mini-game too and I've seen truly bizarre things happen (opponent saves Persecutor at own expense to not lose the game only to win next turn, etc.). Assassin was blah in testing but I've really cooled to most morph cards these days so I'm a bit biased.
Archangel Avacyn vs Baneslayer Angel vs Cloudgoat Ranger
Glorychaser vs Stromkirk Noble
I have a feeling my opinion is going to be different than everybody else's.
Cloudgoat Ranger > Baneslayer Angel > Avacyn
I pick Cloudgoat Ranger over Baneslayer Angel because it passes the Vindicate test, very abusable with blink / recursion effects, and is less devastating to get stolen by Control Magic. I like Baneslayer Angel over Avacyn because she's the bigger stat monster.
Goblin Glory Chaser > Stromkirk Noble
I'm probably in the wrong here. Stromkirk Noble definitely has the higher ceiling, but I like how Goblin Glory Chaser gets around things that would otherwise brick wall more 1-drops.
This one is hard....ultimately I think I like Archangel Avacyn ever so slightly more than Baneslayer Angel since Avacyn passes the Terminate test providing value even if it is killed immediately. Cloudgoat Ranger is definitely the worst of the three but his effect is unique and he is the best of the army-in-a-can variants so far.
I dislike both Chaser and Stromkirk, but if I had to pick. It is the chaser--which I just barely run at 450. Both have to hit early to be meaningful, but Chaser gains evasion after one-swing. Stromkirk just becomes a bigger vanilla creature very slowly and human evasion isn't better than menace for cube.
I finally have someone sending me Life // Death on Pucatrade and I'm forced to confront what I've been dying to do but haven't because the mtg cube community would spontaneously combust at the thought. I want to cut Pernicious Deed from my 5 card golgari section (Pernicious Deed, Maelstrom Pulse, Abrupt Decay, Lotleth Troll, and Deathrite Shaman). My cube is unpowered, no fast mana, no swords (except Jitte) and Deed just does not get drafted. Life/Death provides both an unexpected win condition on the green end (with notable synergies with Sylvan Advocate). Death is more fodder for reanimator builds which got a bit of help as of late from Heir of Falkenrath. I see the merits of Deed in cubes that are powered or run more of the broken artifacts, but for me this seems like a good switch....am I crazy? (This is where you pile on.)
I think Deathrite Shaman is the cut here. There are too few fetches in the cube for the mana producing ability to be close to consistent.
Cloudgoat > Baneslayer ≥ Avcyn. The last two are close, and they're probably pretty equal. Too early in the testing to say for sure if one's better than the other.
Glory Chaser > Noble. The evasion proved to be more useful than the potential for additional counters.
I'd cut Deathrite or Troll from that group of Golgari cards.
Butcher > Doom if you have a Mardu sacrifice theme going.
I'm considering swapping out Dreadbore, which has been fine in a Grixis Control shell, but not horribly exciting otherwise. My sense is that Grenzo is worth the slot, but do you guys feel that Dreadbore is the right cut, or should I be considering something else?

Dreadbore is a good removal spell, but unexciting and not required. It's not needed to hit critical removal thresholds.
Aristocrat is an incredible curve topper, but unless you have sac synergies built into the cube she's interchangeable with red agro curve toppers.
Olivia is almost certainly worse than aristocrat as an agro creature, but she's new and untested, which gives her some appeal. Unsure how playable she will be outside of agro and how often that will be a factor.
Without sac synergies for aristocrat (blood artist), I like grenzo more than all 3 of these cards... And I like dreadbore the least (but they all have their merit/appeal).

This is basically where I'm at. I don't run Blood Artist, so the synergies with Aristocrat are few and far between (Liliana, Heretical Healer and Xathrid Necromancer are pretty much it), but I still like Aristocrat as a curve-topper.
Dreadbore has been a fine card, but I'm basically thinking what you are re: critical removal thresholds. Which is actually making me reconsider the addition of Anguished Unmaking...
They left out the part where Yawgmoth is resurrected, but has been cleansed as Yawgmoth the Redeemed, and now must awaken Chromium so that Karn can fuse with him and create what can only be known as : the ultimate taco.

Oh, no. I missed that part. Crackling Doom is much better in multiplayer, sacrifice theme or not.

My High Octane Unpowered Cube on CubeCobra
Cut one: Sarkhan Vol vs Xenagos, the Reveler (Testing out Arlinn).
Also, how many one-, two- and three-drops is generally required in respectively white, black and red to reach a 'critical mass'? (450 unpowered)
Soltari Champion vs Mirror Entity?
Sarkhan > Zenagos
Champion is better for swarm/equipment aggro decks, and Entity is better for dedicated token shells.
