I like it. But I'm not sure how high it is up in the list of Boros cards, though. Maybe I'm just desperate for cubable cards too much, but this card doesn't look half bad. It look like it can be nasty damage if play right.
The thing is you need a certain board position for this to be good, spending 5 mana to kill a Thragtusk isnt what you probably want most of the time. But "stunning" your opponent's multiples creature for the kill is better. Very situational card but i like it very much.
Its interesting for sure. If your opponent gets out a Moat or stalls your Boros Beats somehow, you can hope to go straight to the dome, but most often it will kill a utility creature or two and pave the way for a crippling/winning alpha strike. I'll be testing it for sure. Maybe over Goblin Trenches which is kinda slow?

Moat 's a legit and hard to beat card in cube. Also, Goblin Trenchesis totally fine in larger Boros section. I used to run it when I'm just starting up my cube.
I was skeptical at first. I saw it as a marginal improvement on Rolling Thunder (we went from sorcery to instant) that didn't do quite enough to offset the drawback of multicolor. After positing a few different scenarios, I think this will be more like a red/white Cryptic Command. The ability to kill one creature, tap down/kill multiples and tag on a Silence worse version of Silence for an extra mana allows for a ton of permutations, which made it difficult to evaluate initially.
It does clash somewhat with the aggro philosophy of most Boros sections. Blaze variants, especially ones that cost X instead of X, tend to be left by the wayside during deck construction due to inefficiency. I'd be fine with this inclusion though since it helps Big Red decks. And it has marginal value for aggro as a Sleep of sorts.

Yeah I think this card is a great inclusion for mid-large cubes. It is easily splashable in a number of control decks where it will have the largest, sexiest effect. But in a boros deck it is a nice curve topper where it can function as a Fireball when you need it or as a Sleep when you need it.
This card has excellent versatility, sweet flavour, and can lead to some sweet stories. Homerun.
This thing is pretty awesome. Besides taking out the team for x, you can use it to get in for the kill or silence them on their upkeep. And it's instant speed! This thing is crazy! I keep on re-reading it to make sure I'm not missing something.
I recently realized I had a copy of Silence, and was considering trying it out in my cube. How useful is the ability, really, though? On this card, is it just a little extra bonus, or do people envision it being a major reason they run it?
With 3-5 probably interchangable based on testing. Boros Charm is the stone cold nuts in aggro... but Fury can see play in multiple archetypes. My instinct is to pick the cheaper card here but Fury looks good too. Helix is only great against aggro, and could essentially be a Searing Spear in other matchups; I want my gold cards to be more unique and impactful than that nowadays.
I think Stronghold is the third best boros card after Ajani and FoD. Helix is prolly still 4th. After those, the new charm and the X spell goes for the next two slots i'd say.

Thing i like best about this card is that during their draw step you can burn their fatty to death, ping them for 1 and laugh your ass off.

I dont think its number 2 I would much rather have Ajani V, or the land from innistrad."
Its definitely somewhere 3-5 though.

LOL. Try Slayers' Stronghold. Many slayers, one stronghold
Anyway my ratings go:
1 Ajani Vengeant
2 Figure of Destiny
3 Boros Charm
4 This
5 Slayers' Stronghold
6 Lightning Helix
