I'm a fan of neither but in any case OH MY GOD YOUR CUBE SPREADSHEET IS CRAZY
Seriously though, my advice is to cut Oona and Nemesis and add Duskmantle Seer and Dimir Charm with the next set. If you don't like either of those, try Recoil. If you don't like Recoil, Probe is a decent shout.
Heh, thanks. It's very much a work-in-progress regarding archetype assignments, but I'm trying to get a feel for how hard certain archetypes are pushed in my cube, so I can make more informed decisions when I'm cutting and adding.
I only ask because I'm afraid I don't have enough discard outlet for reanimator - but yes, I've been looking to cut Oona for some time and might throw in recoil to pile in more bounce/discard effects.
Has anyone found any cards from Gatecrash that would work really well in the Dimir Section of the cube? I'm currently playing Psychatog and Recoil. I added Nightveil Specter which I think works OK. I'm using the Specter until I get something better. I know I could just add Shadowmage Infiltrator but don't want to do that. I was looking for something more unique I could add. When I first looked at the complete Gatecrash Set I couldn't think of anything that was really good. Boros got the best cards for cubing and many of the most valuable cards in the set. The most expensive cards Dimir got was Lazav, Dimir Mastermind and Duskmantle Seer. I don't know if either Lazav or The Seer are cubeable cards. Would you run either in your cube?

Duskmantle Seer is incredibly good. Tempo based strategies are always something heavily drafted in my cube. Dark Confidant is not an apt comparison. He plays out more like the Sulfuric Vortex for tempo, when backed up with soft counters.
In all honesty, I wouldn't be running Recoil over Shadowmage Infiltrator . Also don't forget the best wall of blossoms ever printed Baleful Strix.

I know some people like Baleful Strix but I feel is he overpriced. I'm looking for cheap dimir cards I could add to my cube. I was looking at Gatecrash for dimir cards I could add to my cube. You mention Duskmantle Seer is a good tempo card. It seems like a double edge sword. It could hurt your opponent but it could also hurt you at the same time.

Lots of cards potentially hurt both players, but like any double-edged sword, you have to create a deck that minimizes the pain to one edge and maximizes the pain on the other.
Red decks want sulfuric vortex. White weenie wants armageddon, green mana dork decks want winter orb. This card is no different, and you have to play the card in the appropriate deck. If you're playing this card with Griselbrand, you probably aren't doing it right.

Baleful Strix overpriced!?!?! You must be talking about his dollar value, because a 1/1 flier with deathtouch that replaces itself, all for only two frickin mana, is an insane deal.

Well, I thought that was clear. The word normally used would be "overcost" if he was talking about the game function of the card.
In all honesty, I would try to pick him up if you can. Its probably one of the best dimir cards, hands down. It just adds so much to the guild.
Well, if by "one of the best" you mean like the 4th or 5th best I'd agree. It's not better than Psychatog, Shadowmage, or Seer. If you support the artifact deck, it's not as necessary as Tezz 2.0. Strix is very good, but the competition is pretty stiff.
Is it just me or is not many people a fan of recoil around here?
It's always been a pretty good fit in my cube mainly due to UB inability to deal with any permanent.
My UB Section is
Baleful Strix
Duskmantle Seer
Recoil
Tezzeret, Agent of Bolas
The UB decks that are drafted are typically some kind of artifact/reanimation deck trying to cheat things in or UB Tempo.
Also i've never tried Nemesis of Reason. Would anyone with experience with it in their cube let me know how it was viewed or performed? I generally try to avoid mill if it's too bleh (Anime Jace) ,but I don't mind mixing things up.
I like Recoil, but I think UB is too stacked for it nowadays. Plus, i think your 4-card selection is missing the two best UB cards; Psychatog and Shadowmage Infiltrator.
Nemesis is a solid finisher, but I think blue and black have enough other good finishing creatures.
Anyway the last couple of cubes I played with have really favoured fatty cheating like ramp or reanimator. Strix has been suuuuch a great speed bump against those decks and I early feel bad playing it. I feel safe picking it too because even if I can't foresee getting to play one of the few supported archetypes that want it, I know for damn sure I don't want to see it in my way. It blocks and kills just about everything, it will trade for something much more expensive half the time and it didn't even cost a card to do it. Lets not forget carrying swords or tinker either.
I might be a bit biased here because the most fun I had during the my go cube was putting together tinker tezzeret decks that never worked as well as in real life but it went a long way toward proving UB can enjoy a healthy artifact subtheme. God that owl is so good with the academy ruins.
Anyway. I love recoil, another card I'm almost always happy to see but it's getting worse with all the ETB / LTB presence. Fink has always just felt okay to me, feels like no deck really wants him. Tarpit is amazing but it seems mean to give the slot to a land. I haven't seen tog really perform in ages. He was always so wonky though, you really needed things to be working for you and then you wondered if any dude you could protect would have been good enough.
How have you observed people using your dimir cards by the way? When are you seeing blue black cards played? I mainly see it in fatty cheater decks but every once in a while in a UB or 4c control deck. Love to hear how UB plays in cubes without Tinkery themes.
Imo Baleful Strix is the best Dimir card that does not directly or indirectly produce mana.
I have been thinking this lately as well. The card is all but a guaranteed two for one for two mana that is a great topdeck in the late game, and is synergistic with artifact tricks, blink, reanimation, while carrying equipment evasively.
What other two drop comes close to this? It's like if Wall of Blossoms, but more versatile and deadly. My blue black decks have no shortage of three drops, so I would drop Psychatog or Shadowmage Infiltrator for it, though thankfully I don't have to.
Note: I have yet to cast Duskmantle Seer, but I doubt it will change the above opinion, even if it is amazing, due to the cost.
It generates more card advantage for me on average, survives more removal and is a better blocker. I'm really surprised that some people don't cube it.

It is weird to call it a better blocker. You can block Sundering Titan and Exalted Angels (or just random 3/3s) with Baleful Strix.

I've wanted to get one, but the $12+ pricetag has kept me away while I wait and hope that Dimir gets something nice in Dragon's Maze.
I think those are the 3 best UB cards.

Cube talk, design community and much much more!
Hence why I run them:D
I am very tempted to try Duskmantle Seer, though. But really, 360 is hard.:p
