I think it's good but I don't think I'll be including it. the removal piece is unexpectedly good but unsummon for yourself and 1cmc reanimate is so bad. Likely be hard to cast Vendetta most of the time.
Oh Orzhov Charm, swing and a miss. If the third mode was cmc 2 or less . . . well it probably still wouldn't have made it into my 3 card section, but it would have definitely be a close 4th.
Orzhov's a tough nut to crack. Sorin and Vindicate are absolute staples, Unburial Rites is good enough to have me preaching about it's awesomeness constantly even though people don't always believe me, and Lingering Souls is good in so many archetypes. It's really hard to get past those, and there are a lot of other good options even beyond those 4.
I really like this charm but I don't think it edges out souls for me.

Unburial rites is the nuts, I can't believe I wasn't playing it before!
But yeah I don't think this card cracks my 6 card section either. The unsummon ability needed to be different or the reanimation should have been 2CMC. Or both

I think I'm gonna play slaughterhorn. It's a decent turn 2 play off an elf in aggressive green, it's splash able if green isn't your primary color, and it's real close to an uncounterable giant growth.

He's pretty good, I must say. The Bloodrush creatures remind me of Krosan Tusker - primarily for an on-curve effect by discard, but also a well-costed body in the event you don't need pump. If you DO use it for pump, being a creature in the GY is dandy.

The drawback of only pumping attacking creatures could bite him but I really like this guy. Wish he was a 4/1!
I'm not going to play anything out of this set of spoilers. B/W is pretty much the hardest guild to get into, and I don't think the charm makes it. Nothing else is really even close.
Aetherize is a nice card - it's better than a Wrath against LTB creatures, haste creatures and anything with persist or undying. It's more situational but it could be a blowout against aggro, even more so if they're running token support. There are a lot of ETB effects in cube though, which hurts it quite a lot.
When I see Healing Salve, I'm often like "Oh girl, I wish I could turn every card into this." Thanks they removed the gain life part, otherwise this would have been broken.
Is glaring spotlight worth discussing? It's first ability is pretty meh, but being able to counter removal/evade blockers for 3 colorless mana could be relevant.

What do you guys think?
I don't know, 4 colorless mana (and a card) to provide hexproof and unblockability for one turn that your opponent can see coming? I don't think so.
Yes.. it's really astonishing that Gatecrash is so underwhelming thus far after how awesome Return to Ravnica was.
Coincidentally, Gatecrash is also the first set ever where I preordered a full booster display. Yay me. Guess I'll just have to hope for a lot of shocklands.
Well, we are still less than half done the set, so there's that.
though I've noticed we have a lot of cycles so far. All the charms, all the keyrunes, a million of each keyword ability...
We can always hope for more solid 1 color things. (Or almost 1 color, Dryad Militant is in my white section)
I have the same underwhelming feeling so far. But actually it's not that bad. We're just used to getting a lot of good stuff.
Interesting cards so far for me can be seen below (and I don't count cards for specific archetypes I don't run yet like Enchantment or Mill subtheme). We have a lot of mediocre cards, but not a single real homerun yet.
Frontline Medic
Gideon, Champion of Justice
Crypt Ghast
Thrull Parasite
Gyre Sage
Obzedat, Ghost Council
Dimir Charm
Aurelia's Fury
Boros Charm
Clan Defiance
Domri Rade
Ghor-Clan Rampager
Rubblebelt Raiders

Also, Thursdays are typically good because they give Flores and Van Lunen goodish cards to spoil. My fingers are crossed for something good tomorrow.
