Welcome to the Return to Ravnica (RTR) thread! Here we will be discussing the new cube additions this set has in store for us. Since there is a semi-confirmed card spoiled (see below), I figured I'd open it up. The card itself isn't cubeable, but maybe you can think of some possible cards using the keyword that is. This post will be updated as cards are spoiled that are widely considered possible includes by the community.

I'd love to see a green mythic with 'for each creature token you control, populate.' Not sure if it'd be cubable, but it would be nice, especially if they somehow relate the name to Doubling Season.
Ya, this would be huge for the cube. Populate cards that require a token that don't generate their own will be pretty rough in the cube environment.
These were exactly my thoughts when I saw the card. Cards with it would be even narrower than cards with proliferate otherwise. Btw, is it weird that populate reminds me of proliferate?
I think Izzet and Azorius could use another good card each. I wouldn't mind really strong cards in Dimir or Simic either. All the other guilds are fine.
Dimir is packed if you like artifacts. Strix and Tezz and Signet really follow Finkel and Dr. Teeth pretty well. If you don't do artifacts in those slots, then I can see how it'd be pretty subpar

I do like the artifact deck; I'd just forgotten about Strix. Even so, without that focus the guild is lackluster after Finkel and Tog. Recoil's decent.
Azorious is a very weak color combo and could use some solid help. A UW card with a high power level would be greatly appreciated! The other colors are more or less fine an have plenty of reasonable choices.
Yeah, pretty much all guilds are full up after Slayer's Stronghold completed the Boros section. Maybe Azorius could get a new toy. That's generally considered a weak spot in guild sections these days.

How big would he have to be to match something like Glissa, the Traitor? Will he be a 4/4 to mirror Niv-Mizzet in the duel deck? A 2/2 to mirror his sister Savra, Queen of the Golgari? Or in between as a 3/3?
He's great, but not a kind of guy you want in cube though IMO. My (baseless) guess is he'll be a 4/4. In any deck built to abuse, his +n/+n will be so large so quickly that his base P/T won't matter.

When I see Healing Salve, I'm often like "Oh girl, I wish I could turn every card into this." Thanks they removed the gain life part, otherwise this would have been broken.
