[...] is the chances of the drafting this combo so slim that it's no concern? [...]
At 540 cards or less, with all playable options in, the combo is going to be a lot more than slim. It could occures on pretty much every 8-man table or so.
It's really fun to play to saw it going. It really just matter on how much your group of players are ease with combo decks and if they like it or not.
I'm thinking about adding this package to my 720-card Cube, but I am nervous that it might be a "trap" draft strategy when you only see half of the Cube in a draft (we almost always draft with 8 players). I watched LSV's MOCS finals draft where he got completely wrecked from drafting Pestermite and Deceiver (and Zealous Conscripts, but this card is great by itself), but he never saw the other half of the combo in the draft.
I am also adding an Imperial Recruiter that I am finally about to get my hands on if I add this package. I'd appreciate any input from Cubers who draft with 50% of their Cube and include more narrow combos like this one.
I play the combo in my 450 powered and a lot of our players really enjoy it. I feel it's probably powerful enough at 540 and would be ok with cutting it, but my playgroup wants it there so we keep it. It makes for some interesting gameplay and makes random cards better--like Collected Company--just by having the pieces in there.
I feel that the combo is very well support at 540 or less. But I suggestions people not to commit themself in the archetype if they don't see Kiki-Jiki or Twin really soon in the draft. Also, the enablers like Pestermite or Deceiver shouldn't be draft early because they aren't that good on their own and commit into crafting around them early in the draft could be a lethal mistake because odds of seeing combo copy pieces are less. Always have a alternative win-con is also a good thing to avoid screwing yourself. But by experience, I can say that if you draft one of the two, either Kiki or Twin, in your 5-7 first card, chance of seeing a enabler at some point is really high. I can count 5 in mine if I do include Richard Garfield Ph.D.

I'm a big fan of the combo though and do support it at 405 and would probably keep it in at 450.
