Sac a land: Draw two cards. Activate this only once per turn.
So, a good finisher for aggro? Kinda awkward when you draw lands off of it though...

The GameCube, a 500 cube with a medium power level and a focus on fun and fringe playables rather than immediately shutting your opponent down with the best cards ever printed.
Modem Masters, a 500 cube that tries to capture the essence of a Modern Masters set draft. 3 of each common, 2 of each uncommon, 1 of each rare, few mythics. Includes minor changes for balance reasons to give certain archetypes the tools they need to succeed.
I might test this if it read: "Sacrifice a land: Draw two cards."
With either restriction on it, I think it's not even remotely close to being tested in my cube. Maybe someone would like to test it at a larger cube size, but right now I'm not seeing the appeal.
Cool card, but not good enough for the cube. There are better ways to generate card advantage at the 4cc slot that don't cost you your resources (or prevent you from playing any future lands).
I actually realy like the flavor of this card. It just seems a little to expensive or restrictive. For a 4 drop that doesn't impact the board I need a little more. Wizards is going somewhere interesting with red draw, but right now I can get unconditional draw 3s in blue and green for 4 and I dont even play those.
Is it funny that the only card made by a guy who made a cube-based world won't make it in cube?
Personally, I'd rather splash blue for blue draw spells. I mean, if it's going to mess with your ability to play lands, you might as well just run off-color lands instead. Or just use Wheel of Fortune...
It's a neat card, but those downsides are not easy to work around in draft.
As printed, I wouldn't play it in cube at any CMC. Did it really need the drawback of not being able to play lands any more at that CMC? I'm not entirely sure.

Totally agree, it is not like it would be easy to blink this thin to get around the drawback. I think it should have been no drawback at 4 CMC and only cost 1 or 2 with the drawback. I am guessing that the red decks in standard looked too good without the drawback.

I do hope to see cards designed from noteable people in my cube!
If not for the drawback, I would slam this into the cube and try with all my might to build the ultimate lands deck.
