While I love the idea of a combat blowout with this it will happen exactly once in my cube. The first time it happens there will be high fives all around, but after that (especially when you see it get passed in the draft) people will respect the WW3 held up. Not that there is a lot that you can do about it but that is not bluffing mana.
Even if an opponent sees the trick coming, he may well be forced into blocking to stay alive. An extra two damage per creature is a lot.
I'll be testing this to support tokens in my cube. I'll probably cut Glorius Anthem for it, as three. Such effects seems excessive at 450.

I'm cutting Divine Deflection to test this out. I think the flash enchantment +2 combo is just powerful enough to warrant playing with it for a bit to get a feel. If anything eventually disappoints me it may be its cost. I want to see just how often it sits in my hand versus how often it turns on tokens or enables mana dork beat downs.
This is my favorite anthem in my cube now. 5 mana is a lot for aggressive decks and sometimes you would rather top deck a creature, but I've been pushing a token theme lately and this card is a BOSS with tokens. I would play this over Spear of Heliod if I had to cut an anthem effect now. I definitely think this card is good enough for roughly 540 or more. And it could be good enough in smaller cubes if they push tokens as much as I do.

Initial testing in my 450 unpowered was positive. I cut Mikaeus from the cube for this tonight and it was drafted and played immediately. It turned combat in their favor when blocking and allowed for an alpha strike for game in a white/green build. It is much more impactful than Mikaeus has ever been because of its speed. I don't mind losing a lackluster creature for a combination combat trick/and flash double anthem. Both things that cube benefits greatly from as they are largely unexpected (How many combat tricks see play in your cube?).
This is the exact change I made and I'm hoping the results will be the same. We had a mono-white aggro deck last night that would've loved this but unfortunately Dictate wasn't in the draft. Dictate just seems far better at the job than Mikaeus except when you need that one last chump blocker (which does happen from time to time).
