So, this happened in MTGO cube tonight. Seemed buggy, but is this how it would work?
My Control Magic retained the Aura type and stayed attached to the creature. If this were IRL cube, I'd argue that it should lose that and fall off, turning into a basic forest.

The controller of hornet should get his forest back. If I understand the rule correctly. It is no longer a creature, so it cannot be enchanted by aura that enchant a creature.

I think they enchanted Control Magic, not Hornet Queen. See how CM has a colorless frame?
In that case, Control Magic loses the subtype "aura" and the Enchant Creature ability, so it stops enchanting Hornet Queen.

Song of the Dryads targeted my Control Magic. What I think should happen is exactly what wildice says. Control Magic loses all of its characteristics and becomes a Forest. It falls off the creature, and my opponent should get his Hornet Queen back. What happened instead was that it became a Forest and kept the Aura subtype, so it really just made the Control Magic better because it could then tap for mana.
Also, my opponent called me a nub because I still attacked him with the Hornet Queen. Unethical? Maybe. But he would have lost anyway. I got game one and he timed out. I also tapped the Control Magic for mana while I had a Winter Orb out, but I think I would have been able to do that anyway.
I'm not rules expert and I'll admit to sometimes referring to things that happened on MTGO as a resource when rulings come up during cube matches. I also Tweeted the screenshot to Sheldon Menery and Matt Tabak for a ruling, but I got no response all day, so I don't really expect one. I really would like a rules guru/judge to tell me this was a bug and not a weird rules loophole.
It's been great for me. It gets rid of a big variety of threats and doesn't replace it with another threat. It has pros and cons vs the O-Ring variant spells, which is a nice thing to say about a green piece of removal.
I agree with wtwlf123. I like Song of the Dryads much more than Beast Within which I ran before. Giving them a forest is much better than giving them a 3/3. In addition, it's a very flavorful card and the o-ring effect is unique for green. I think it's green's best piece of removal.
Very happy with the card. Have had a wide variety of great permanents turned into a lowly forest, even if it did fix mana once to play a Pernicious Deed, haha.
Simic ramp, Gruul ramp and MonoG ramp are legit archetypes that desperately wanted a decent all encompassing removal spell.
This is that card. Wasn't high on the card when I first read it, but it's proved itself. Overestimated the drawback and underestimated the importance of an effect like this for those archetypes.
Not a high pick, but a card that should never be cut from the archetypes I mentioned.

In a cube draft today, Song of the Dryads turned off an Edric, a Jace, a Ral Zarek, and a Jitte. The bonus land was not negligible, but it was mostly just *****ty ramp for them. If this is something you want a green card to do in your cube--which you should--run Song of the Dryads.
When I've played this, I've been able to use other cards for smaller threats, and I saved Song for the bigger stuff. (It won't always work out that way, obv.) At that point, if I'm putting Song on a large creature or a Planeswalker, it's past the point in the game where I care overmuch about giving my opponent an extra Forest.

I Tweeted a screenshot to Worth. He replied, but didn't seem to know anything about the issue or the rules involved.

I used to write for MTGS, including Cranial Insertion and cube articles. Good on you if you can find those after the upgrade.
