I run all the blue signets and the Orzhov one in their respective guilds. I alot six slots each though so it's easy for me to do it that way. I did run the blue ones as blue cards for a while since that's how they seem to play but the Orzhov one stuck in my craw.
Personally, I consider them guild cards since I don't see myself playing them unless both colors are beneficial for my deck.
This is how I would sort them, myself. If we can't use both colors, they often miss the final 40. Not always, but often. So they're kinda like hybrids in that regard (which I also sort in my guild sections).
However, I'd sort them with my spells and not with my lands. It's not just the fixing that counts as a qualifier for a fixing land. Being free and uncounterable sources of mana for your deck is why they et slotted differently.
I put the signets in guild fixing as well. They could just as easily be templated into lands like Rupture Spire, so I think identifying their role and place has been a big help to the way I think about cube fixing and spells.
Speaking of fixers, how would you rate the five talismans against the signets? While I've enjoyed including both, signets usually win out for me, but there must be exceptions to this idea.
I would also have them compete with the guild fixing as opposed to guild spells. For this reason I removed them entirely. I've found Wildfire/Artifact/Upheaval decks do just fine with extra, more generic mana rocks. I've opted to run all of these over the signets:
Yes. I'm an unpowered cube and the Tezzeret decks consistently do very well. Also there are consistently other decks that don't contain blue that like to use the rocks. Blue doesn't need more help in my opinion. Turns out artifact ramp is good. I find myself and others in my group using them in all but the most aggressive decks (and even there Chrome Mox sees play sometimes).
