While I prepare my M14 cube review, I thought it would be fun this week to talk about cutting in general, the impact of letting your cube grow, and my personal M14 cuts.
I think you glossed over an aspect of your cuts. Cutting something like Wildfire to me isn't a cut for powerlevel, it's a decision of which archetypes to support. Similarly, when someone like me looks at you cutting exalted angel, we get surprised that it was even on the chopping block. In a discussion about the methodology and value of cutting cards, I think it would have made sense to discuss your actual cuts instead of leaving it at cut-and-dry example of Shivan Dragon, especially when you have what appears to be a fairly diverse range of cuts in that group (Keldon Vandals, Exalted Angel, and Wildfire all frequently see 360 play and each would seem to have different reasons for cutting them).
Anyway, I enjoyed the article and look forward to the next.
Just got to say, you've definitely earned distinction as an MTGS hero

Because he's the hero MTGS deserves, and the one it needs right now. So we'll global him. Because he can take it. Because he's not just our hero. He's a silent guardian, a watchful protector. An expired rascal.
