This week I talk about building and drafting aggro in Cube (not to be confused with beatdown, midrange, etc.). Would love to hear some of you veteran Cubers weigh in on my thoughts!
One glaring issue I would be remiss to ignore is that Garruk Wildspeaker is in the "We suck!" graphic when he is a one-turn delay Overrun and one of the best possible Green aggro cards.

Weird. Garruk has been awful in my agro decks, but when I'm trying agro I rarely dip into green. He's definitely solid in mid-range decks, and of course the overrun is a boss w/ token generators like hermit.
I quite like this article. I do think aggro needs a little more help than the odd stone rain or 4cc stone rain + guy to deal with the incredible road blocks and great trades most cubes can expect from their control and midranged decks.
It's also just hard to make 1drop decks look good with so many cards like grim monolith and sol ring and library running around?
Yeah, I put another vote in for garruk. Aggro to midrange is really a spectrum - the kinds of aggro decks that run mana dorks into early swords and high-impact 4 drops (see standard's naya domri deck) still count in my opinion, as they are decks which are far better at attacking than blocking. Garruk is amazing in this kind of deck, it hardly sucks.
I also think Garruk is a fine card for your aggressive decks. It can set up an immediate Overrun, or it can generate threats for you that can give you a little reprieve in a rough matchup (v midrange).
