Okay, so I'm new to Cube and my playgroup is getting smaller and smaller so I'm thinking about building a Cube used only for multiplayer. The catch? You gotta do some epic deckbuilding because I want the Cube to have as many cards as possible that have global effects - whether they're beneficial, detrimental, global, or biased. I'm considering adding cards that depend on player voting (from Conspiracy and Conspiracy 2). So I'm already imagining how fun and challenging this is going to be. I guess my thread is not only to showcase what I eventually build, but to ask for suggestions as well from the community or any experiences any of you may have.
The cards that appear to have "one-sided" global affects are few and far between. The challenge in building decks with this Cube is that, if you want to hurt all opponents, maybe you hurt yourself. Likewise, helping yourself means that you'd have to help opponents. Maybe when drafting you see a card that's too chaotic so you draft it to spice things up or to prevent other players from playing it. It's a really unique experience!
A quirky addition to the Cube is that it's gonna include heroes (the cards from the Heroe's Path in the Theros block - here and here for reference). The Hero cards will be treated just as with the Challenge decks: it's a permanent in play of the hero type and you start the game with it on the battlefield. It can be destroyed as a permanent. If it's bounced, you can't cast it (since it has no casting cost); you'd have to cheat it into play. There will be 2 copies of each Hero card. Each Hero Artifact can be modified however a player wants (the stickers that can be added to the card per the Forge a Godslayer Phase).
Finding unique cards for global effects is very trying. So I discarded the notion of one copy of each card in the Cube. Instead, I was inspired by the Conspiracy Cube discussed in the link. I kept the same ratios and quantities (a 720-card Cube). The only difference is that the cards have some kind of global effect. However, I am open to the possibility of different ratios in order to be able to add more cards with global effects (maybe 3 of each uncommon and then halving the amount of copies of commons in order to have twice as many different commons). I would also like to construct the booster packs depending on rarity. For example, instead of just keeping all cards together in the cube, I'm going to always keep them separated in terms of rarity. That way, each booster would be prepared by shuffled the cards of different rarity (the mythics will be shuffled together with the rares to form one group). The only exception to this would be the conspiracies/drafting cards which won't be mixed in with the rarities piles but in its own pile. If you include the Heroes pile, the Cube is actually 762 Cards . So a booster would include:
1 Hero
1 Conspiracy/Draft Matters card
1 Rare or Mythic
3 Uncommons
9 Commons
I want to also use all planes and phenomenons when playing this Cube in order to saturate the fun factor (that and I'm going to probably want to use them since I plan on buying the Anthology when it comes out this November).
I'm going to try and build this deck in paper. However, there are some cards that will be proxied - only because they appear exclusively online. I also want particular versions of the cards because I want the rarity to be as seen in the expansion symbol (to make it easier when sorting the cards after playing). So if a card is from an older expansion when the symbols were all black, it's considered common for all effects and purposes of this Cube. Doing this (along with any different rarity in MTGO) will allow me to have a card I want at a certain rarity in order to be able to include it in the Cube. Additionally, if the card has a rarity unique to online (like Oath of Druids being mythic rare in MTGO), then it will be proxied as far as the online set is concerned. Also, there are some cards that only existed in the MTG computer games. Those will undoubtedly be proxied (if you're curious as to what those are, I have an image of them at the end of this post).
Here's the Cube classified by color and rarity (mythics are 1, rares 2, uncommon 4, common 3, lands are 2 regardless):
Any and all opinions are welcome! If you have any better cards to recommend that are in the spirit of the Cube let me know! Thanks!
Here are the video game cards used in the Cube. They're not the exact rip from the games because as with MTGO, the entire text doen't fit in the box in some cases or it's grainy due to when the games came out. I remade them in MSE keeping it as faithful as possible to the cards. Also, they've been rewritten using the appropriate MTG syntax and grammar while making them functionally equivalent in real life. The random nature of the cards are facilitated by dice rolls. So use those D&D style dice for these!

Sure! I really wanna trim it down but I really want to make a cube devoted to multiplayer. I've been drafting on Cockatrice and it's been quite the challenge picking cards from boosters because you skip over some cards because it doesn't matter who plays it everyone gets the bonus but at the same time, what if an opponent picks it but doesn't play it? It brings a great challenge to deckbuilding because cards that hurt everyone or help everyone or only help yourself if the situation is specific (depending on other players) is what one has to deal with.
I read an article on a Conspiracy Cube and it's kinda what I want to do. So I've been tinkering with including the same proportions and quantities of cards but with global effects.

Massive Update!! It's been a long time since I've done anything with this idea of mine. I've rewritten the OP and placed the cardlist. Any and all suggestions and comments are welcome and desired! Please help! Thanks!
EDIT:
I just realized that I posted this in the wrong place! -_- Can a mod please place it where it belongs? Sorry! Thanks!
