I thought a thread where we can post sample packs would make for fun discussion. I'm just posting a sample pack generated by CubeTutor as a hypothetical P1P1. For reference it's coming out of my 450 Unpowered.
I think trying to do it like the "Draft the Above Person's Cube Thread" where every post is a new cube would probably force things to proceed too quickly and limit discussion, but I'll post a new pic every day that I have time to. If I forget (or if anyone else wants to jump in, aiming for a pack a day) feel free!
Alright, trying something crazy today...I couldn't find a Red White and Blue Cube, so for the 4th of July I'm going to put up a mono-red cube pack, a mono-white pack and a mono-blue cube pack. Feel free to make picks from one or more, any that look interesting to you. Have fun and be safe today if you're celebrating!
I don't know much about these cubes or creators, my main goal was to find cubes that looked like they were still receiving regular updates.
I haven't looked at your full list, but to me this comes down to Signet vs O-ring, and I'd take signet. If someone had a marked preference for aggro (like some incarnations of the online cube) I could maybe see Cackler, but anything else seems pretty hard to justify.
Cool thread idea.

I primarily play limited, so most of my spoiler season comments view cards through that lens.
For me it's between Oblivion Ring and Go for the Throat, leaning towards O-Ring for the versatility over efficiency. This definitely isn't the most exciting pack to open, but that's probably where the more difficult decisions to be made are anyway, so it's good to discuss.

When I look at P1P1 samples, I like to rule out cards until I get down to a more feasible decision, so let's do that.
- Cackler and Magma Jet aren't strong enough to take at P1P1, imo.
- There are two very good black removal spells here; either of which could be a reasonable P1P1. But... I don't want to take a solid black removal spell only to pass another solid black removal spell to my neighbor. So I think I'm leaving them both.
- There are too many blue cards here, so I don't want fight over that color. If I take Dig and my neighbor takes Ponder or Future Sight, my pack two could be miserable.
- The two actual gold cards could both be considerations, but I don't personally like to take gold cards this early. Bloodbraid Elf is powerful, but I don't think I'm taking it P1P1.
So that leaves Azorius Signet, Oblivion Ring, Mishra's Factory, and Chord of Calling to pick from. I like to stay open and not commit to anything until I have to, so I'm probably taking Mishra's Factory here. Out of those cards, I think an argument could be made for taking either one of them, depending on your personal preference when cube drafting and even your mood that day. If you were feeling more control-y, you could go with Signet or O-Ring and go that route. If you wanted to ramp out the big fatties, Chord of Calling is probably a fine pick up here. (Without looking at the full list, I have to assume that if Chord is here, that deck is a possibility.)
I like your analysis, but I'm a little bit less worried about what I pass than you are. We'll control the flow in 2 out of the 3 packs, so if we take something like Dig Through Time we can cut most of the rest of the blue in pack 1 if that's a concern.
Still though, I'd probably take Oblivion Ring or Azorius Signet here. It's really nice to be able to deal with (just about) any permanent type, and ramp is never bad. I might take Dig Through Time just because I haven't had much chance to play with it in cube yet and I'd like to get some reps in with it.
I like to stay open, lands make the final 40 more easily than non-lands, I love manlands, and none of the cards are clear first-picks, so I'd take Mishra's Factory.
Signets are so strong that out of weak packs like this one they are clearly the pick and this pack is no exception. BBE and O-Ring are powerful cards but Signets just opens way more possibilities.
Depending on the day, BBE or Signet. BBE if I feel like being a bad player and forcing Gruul aggro/midrange, which is something I can pretty safely draft in my playgroup, or Signet as the most powerful card.
Whether they're actually the best decks I love going for infinite combos whenever I can just because they're so much fun. Plus, now that Twin's been banned from Modern I feel duty-bound to keep this combo in my cube and play it whenever I can.

In my Cube I salivate at first pick Wildfires in medium quality packs. I would personally pick that unless I had already drafted that deck recently with Pack Rat as close second. Passing no black cards is a nice edge for the Pack Rat if you want to go that route. If I pick Pack Rat I'm hoping to pick up Molten-Tail on the wheel. Those cards leave me open to a variety of synergistic decks with reanimation/graveyard synergies.
I would not blame someone for picking the Splinter Twin, but my personal bias leads me to never take the Twin risk P1P1 unless I'm mildly intoxicated and feeling frisky.
I think I'd take foothills here, I love staying open, but O-ring is also certainly defendable, as are wildfire and twin depending on the cube (although you really want to wheel twin before you go all in on that - even if I wanted to be the twin deck I'd probably still take foothills and hope to get a fetchable dual because the twin decks are often very color-hungry.)
This is a fantastic pack with a lot of great choices, but I think Worn Powerstone is what I'd P1P1 here. It's fantastic in control and ramp decks, while still leaving you very open because it's colorless. However, it's not a terribly exciting 1st pick, I could easily see grabbing Bloodsoaked Champion, Braids, Mimic Vat, Hellrider, or even Venser if I were in the mood to force one of the strategies those were key to.
Soon I'll mix it up and start pulling from powered cubes, pauper, etc. just for fun.
I like this idea a lot.

Worn Powerstone or Kodama's Reach is what I would take. Nothing brutally awesome just begging to be built around, but ramp/color fixing is always good. Only problem with Kodama is that it starts funneling you to green.
EDIT: Actually, I'd take Parallax Wave and hope one of the more aggressive red creatures come back around, and play Boros. Parallax wave can be a game winner.
I like a Worn Powerstone pick up here. Although I think there might be a good argument for a Venser, Shaper's Savant.
The Powerstone keeps your options open and allows for big plays on T4-T5. However I do love how versatile Shaper's Savant is. I actually might be slightly leaning more towards that as the pick up after thinking about it.
This is the type of cube pack I love most. There's a safe pick with Worn Powerstone. There's also a few mood dependent picks. Venser, Shaper Savant is fine here. You could wheel either the Mana Tithe or the other Venser. You might also pick up Bloodsoaked Champion on the wheel and go into a UB tempo/aggro deck. Braids would also be fine here, again hoping to wheel the Champion. Or, hell, just take Hellrider and go all in Fun Police.
I personally lean toward taking Braids or Hellrider because those are the decks I enjoy most.

I always find it difficult to not just take O-ring.
I probably just take the Rats.

Personally I'm another sucker for Twin, but if I were being rational about it I would probably take Pack Rat, O-Ring or the fetch.

Another Interesting thing here is you could pick up the Parallax Wave and hope the Venser, the Sojourner wheels for a fun combo.
