Sorry for the long hiatus, but life is a bit more manageable now. (Fingers crossed anyway...)

Here we are with another pack! (450 Unpowered)

I absolutely love P1P1 skullclamp. Titan also sounds really fun.

I'm also taking the clamp p1p1. Doesn't put me into any color, and goes in a ton of decks.

Yeah, I think that's a pretty obvious first pick. What would you all take if Clamp were replaced with just some middling creature or something?

My second pick (behind Clamp, of course) would probably be Llanowar Elves. There's an argument to be made between that and Prime Time, but I think the elves are more important for that specific archetype. I can pick up any other solid 6+ ramp target and have it be just as powerful as the titan. Ramp decks need that early ramp to be competitive.

Remand hoping to wheel Fire/Ice would be my pick aftervthe obvious Skullclamp. I love tempo decks.

Clamp. I'd love terminate except that I'd get forced into at least rakdos, and that's not exactly a happy place for the first pick. I'm a sucker for strong removal.

Obvious pick is obvious. If the Clamp weren't here, I'd go with Prime Time.

Throwing up a pack from a horror-themed cube for Friday the 13th:

I've never drafted this cube before, but I think I'd take either Deep Analysis (just a good card no matter what) or Burning Vengeance.

Not the scariest or strongest looking pack, but I think I'd take the Blood Artist here. It's on flavor, and it's a powerful build-around so I've gotta believe that the cube designer has put in the tools to make this good, and that I'll see them in future packs.

I"m going with Blood Artist too, but Essence of the Wild looks like it could be strong. Deep Analysis is still run in some regular cubes so it's got potential as a pick here as well.

Blood artist is is really good, but I would actually take Lorescale Coatl because I really like it.

Burning Vengeance #yolo

Vengeance is my favorite card from ISD block, so there's no way I resist it. Analysis if I was trying to win though.

Oh man, that's a flavorful pack! I'd go with Deep Analysis here and hope to get Lorescale Coatl on the wheel.

I would take blood artist also. Especially in lower power-level cubes, he can be like a 10-point life swing on his own so often.

Not knowing anything else about the format, I'd first pick AWOL. It's fairly efficient, splashable removal which is a good starting point in pretty much any draft format.

AWOL as a very good removal or Cogwork Librarian because this pack isn't very good.

I'd probably take AWOL too. I'm guessing the power level of this cube is lower, so it's hard to say whether this is a weak pack, a strong pack, or fairly representative. (I would have to imagine it's not an unusually strong pack though.)

Mise is tempting. I'm guessing there must be some synergies with Mise built in somewhere, and it's a powerful effect if there's enough library manipulation and the format is slow enough.

I think I'd take bitter revelation here in the dark - it's easily splashable, AWOL is conditional removal that is basically only gonna go in control, and the card advantage and quality from bitter revelation seems great as this cube (based on this pack) seems very grindy and midrange.

Good choice of cubes! I think I should give this one a try for the Card of the Day thread for a bit.

I think the obvious windmill slam pick here is Sword of Fire and Ice and it's not even close. Not only is it a powerful source of card advantage, reach, and repeatable removal, but it's colorless and it slots pretty easily into pretty much any deck whatsoever that has creatures.

Alright, trying something crazy today...I couldn't find a Red White and Blue Cube, so for the 4th of July I'm going to put up a mono-red cube pack, a mono-white pack and a mono-blue cube pack. Feel free to make picks from one or more, any that look interesting to you. Have fun and be safe today if you're celebrating!

I don't know much about these cubes or creators, my main goal was to find cubes that looked like they were still receiving regular updates.
