My group and I really want to get a league going for my Cube. We were thinking a 3 month rotation to coincide with new set releases. Can anyone tell me how to structure it with regards to points, win percentage etc, as well as recommendations to upkeep fees and prizes?
They have a catch-up mechanic built in to the scoring that ended up not being necessary for my playgroup, but otherwise it's pretty much the same.
12 weeks of 3 round drafts. 3 points per win, 1 for draw, if you 3-0 then you get an extra point. Cut to top 8 and draft for the prizes. Our pay-in is $3 for your first draft of a season, then $1 after. With my numbers we end up giving away about 45 packs in the top 8. The shop that sanctions the event will usually throw in a playmat or some credit for the winner.

Here's the basics of the structure I use, which is grabbed more or less from TSG's podcast The Magic Box. A link to the relevant episode is here (http://eckamon.blogspot.com/2013/06/the-magic-box-podcast-episode-16.html)
