Duplicate Sealed is a limited format on which players are provided with the same pool of cards.
I was thinking to give this a shot. Has anyone tried creating a list?
I think one of the advantages is that you don't need to draft,
and it works equally well no matter how many players (we have a hard time finding 6 people).
Of course, an obvious disadvantage is you need sevaral copies of each card.
And maybe the format gets cracked too fast and you need to change the pool all the time.
This sounds like a blast! Unfortunately, like you mentioned, multiples of a card would be pricey. But if over time you collect sets of fun yet cheap cards throughout standard sets it could work. How many cards are typically in the set (I for one person).
Value is good. But Dredgevine isn't supposed to be about value. It's supposed to be about V-8; 2000 pounds of nitro boosted war vegetables. The more velocity, the better.
