Ok let me explain the theory and maybe you guys can help me out. I am looking for a perfect starting set of cube cards. By perfect I mean this:
You have 5 cards, one is each color. Each impactful (so ideally a creature)
Each is the same CMC with the same colored requirements
Each card is a trump to its enemy color. White > Black > Green > Blue > Red > White - So the black card would in effect be a trump to the white card, but lose to the green card.
You would then find another 5 cards, same CMC as the last, that worked in the opposite direction around the color map. so White < Black < Green < Blue < Red < White.
Basically the idea is that each color would start with 5 cards, and each one would specifically be a trump to another card but have a trump in one of the 5 colors. In theory I feel like this would give you a perfectly balanced starting 25 cards (think Rock Paper scissor lizard spock interactions), and once you have them you then build in cards to the cube that play off interactions with them, one in each color for each card. Basically trying to make sure that the cube is perfectly balanced in that every card is good against some cards (the same number for every card) bad against some cards (same number for every card) and each color is balanced in both power level and costs.
This way the cube will reward a person who strategically pulls the smartest cards and plays the best, as opposed to whomever got sol ring first or whatever. Does this sound like it is even possible?
I don't think this is even remotely possible. There aren't that many cube-worthy cards that "trump" others, especially in such a linear fashion as this, and definitely not all at the same CMC and colored requirements.

Edit: it's 2 colors hosed, but I think that's as close as it gets to parity
