From my list, you can see a few things: The tribes are split between "races" and "classes" this is so I can have as much overlap between tribes as possible. So, for example, a card could be a Goblin Warrior and be desirable for both archetypes.
More importantly, I am stumped on the Simic tribe. The only ideas I have at the moment are Humans (adding Clerics to the WB slot), or Wizards (adding ??? to the UR slot). Don't really like either idea.
Maybe errata that nagas from khans = "snakes" and then use tribal boosts and lords from the kamigawa sets. Mystic snake, lorescale coatl, etc are all fantastic!
Snakes and spirits are both definite possibilities.
If the KTK naga had been creature type: snake, they would be a lock, especially since the orochi have a couple of great lords. But I don't want to have to houserule anything. This is also why humans are tricky, because older cards don't use the type "human", but Oracle text says they are.
Spirits are also great, lots of support from Kamigawa that I would otherwise never use. Arcane sub-theme! My main problem with them is that spirits typically don't have a "class", so they don't have much overlap with the other tribes.
Another possibility I came up with is to put humans in both the WB and UG slots. They are by far the most widespread race, they could have twice as many cards as everyone else. But it seems weird to put them in 4 colors and not 5...
WU - Birds
UB - Rogues
BR - Goblins
RG - Warriors
GW - Elves
WB - Humans
BG - Shamans
GU - ???
UR - Wizards
RW - Soldiers

I need your help!
From khans - kheru spellsnatcher (a khans draft all-star), Sultai Flayer, sagu archer, hooded hydra
Kamigawa - sakura-tribe elder, Sachi, Daughter of Seshiro, sakura-tribe scout, Seshiro the Anointed, Sosuke, Son of Seshiro
Rav - coiling oracle, patagia viper, wasteland viper
For the blue card side, I'd include a ton of draw, flicker, and tempo effects, then top things off with an awesome u/g leviathan or two - simic sky swallower, sagu mauler...
"Personally I love high-riak, low-reqars gambles. Life's best with a decent amount of riak. And f*** reqars."
