I have about 30 cards that don't have a foil available and I want to have them altered to finish off my cube. Anyone have any good people they can recommend? Thanks.

It depends on if you're on a budget or not. Klug, CardKitty, Poxy14, seesic, demonium and Yawg07 are among my favorite go-to alter artists. I wish I had more Klug work in my cube... You can check the photos in my cube thread for some examples of their work, and feel free to ask questions about who did what in my cube thread if you're interested. There are other great artists out there too, so look through the altered art thread and find some folks you like, and PM them to arrange commission work. Remember, like tattoos, good alters aren't cheap, and cheap alters aren't good.
Total side note but I like how people are discussing running this over itself.
Well, it has to be said that Kolaghan is clearly better than Kolaghan. Considering what BR decks usually want and how stiff the competition in this guild is, there is no way that I would run Kolaghan over Kolaghan! Kolaghan might make it in as the sixth guild card or so. Kolaghan on the other hand ranks several places below that.
It was so funny to me when they described this as a downgrade to the original Zurgo during the Pax East panel. I was thinking if this is a downgrade, they should really "downgrade" all legendary creatures. Haha.
My deck designing is quite concise at this point:
1. Come up with deck idea
2. Realize this idea is somehow fundamentally similar to another deck I have or that is commonly played in my group
3. Decide I don't want to disassemble one of my existing decks
4. Give up and do nothing
I don't see the point of this new shroud mechanic. It's strictly worse than Hexproof. Threshold is pretty bad too, Delirium is a much better mechanic and probably easier to activate.
Otherwise this card is a pretty neat guy. Dodges removal and grows into a Primal Huntbeast. 3/5
Can'r recommend Klug highly enough, and that's not just because he is a good friend. @klug_alters on twitter. Hopefully he has cleared his docket from all the commissions he picked up at GenCon.
I'll be getting one myself from him soon, as a tribute to my dear departed kitty.
My only experience getting alters done is via artists at GPs and the likes. Out of curiosity, what's a general $$$ range for commissions from the altered art thread?

Heavily depends on which alterer, and what sort of alter you want done. In my experience, the range has been from about $20 to $100. If you're getting something very intricate done by someone like Klug, then expect to pay even more.
I do alters myself, mostly border extensions. I typically charge about $20, despite that not being very profitable, in terms of time and materials. I do it for the love of MTG and I like seeing my alters in other peoples' cubes. I have also given away a large proportion of my alters.
I'm a huge fan of Fivecolorsart mtg alters. The guy's name is Rafael Ortiz.
I've ordered about a dozen alters from this guy and they've all been exceptional.
I've ordered a bunch of alters from Yawg and had nothing but problems dealing with him so I absolutely do not recommend him.
If you look at my cube thread, I have pictures of most of my alters and labels on who did them, so you can see where I get them from. A lot are from eBay, and all of my custom work was through a guy named Ryan Peneff. You'll have to google him but he was amazing and had really reasonable prices.

Modflyalters is also really good.
