Magma Jet: I choose 5th dawn which looks like a burn spell.
For total package StP boss-ness, the DCI foil with the Beta art because it has the sweet Milton quote on it.
Based purely on the art though, I like the Ice Age version best. I like the symbolism of the art and the stained glass window style. I'm not sure what's going on in the DD version and the new promo takes the phrase a little to literally for my tastes. Personally, I use the Coldsnap Theme Deck version so I have the Ice Age art with the new frame but I've recently been thinking about switching some of the classics to old frames.
2.) The FD text is much cleaner because it's split up into two different sections, the Theros one is just one giant blob of text.
3.) Fifth Dawn needs all the expansion symbols it can get (edit: now that I think about it, 5D has quite a number of playables)
The only cards I can think off the top of my head are E Witness, Crucible of Worlds, and Magma Jet. Granted 3 cards is nice for a small set is pretty nice.
Edit: forgot about Grafted Wargear, Condescend, Razormane Masticore, Vedalken Shackles, and EE. Fifth Dawn was better than I gave it credit. It would be kind of cool if someone made a list of common cube cards by set.

I mean, hell, we're all on a forum for something that most people would describe as a "children's card game"...do what makes you happy. You are never too old to enjoy yourself.

Fifth Dawn for several reasons.
1.) I simply find the art to be much better.
2.) The FD text is much cleaner because it's split up into two different sections, the Theros one is just one giant blob of text.
3.) Fifth Dawn needs all the expansion symbols it can get (edit: now that I think about it, 5D has quite a number of playables)

I also have to agree on Theros Magma Jet. I just picked up a foil and it is awesome.
