Hm... Ratchet Deed seems kind of slow. It's obviously stronger than Bomb because you can tick it up and sac it in the same turn, and because you it's X or less, but at 3 mana it's basically just going to hit stuff at 0-1 cmc most of the time.
The second is Obzedat's Aid for 2 less which doesn't seem printable.

It is pretty busted with Dreadnought, but there are plenty of cards that are already. Nobody's running the Nought in Cube, and WotC doesn't care super much about Legacy interactions like that, so I think it *could* be printed.

Maybe, but Wizards has made it pretty clear that blowing up permanents is BW and GBs thing, so I figured that's where I'd start. Not that many cube cards that are indestructible, unless you count Boros Charm.
Total side note but I like how people are discussing running this over itself.
Well, it has to be said that Kolaghan is clearly better than Kolaghan. Considering what BR decks usually want and how stiff the competition in this guild is, there is no way that I would run Kolaghan over Kolaghan! Kolaghan might make it in as the sixth guild card or so. Kolaghan on the other hand ranks several places below that.
It was so funny to me when they described this as a downgrade to the original Zurgo during the Pax East panel. I was thinking if this is a downgrade, they should really "downgrade" all legendary creatures. Haha.
My deck designing is quite concise at this point:
1. Come up with deck idea
2. Realize this idea is somehow fundamentally similar to another deck I have or that is commonly played in my group
3. Decide I don't want to disassemble one of my existing decks
4. Give up and do nothing
I don't see the point of this new shroud mechanic. It's strictly worse than Hexproof. Threshold is pretty bad too, Delirium is a much better mechanic and probably easier to activate.
Otherwise this card is a pretty neat guy. Dodges removal and grows into a Primal Huntbeast. 3/5
I'm pretty sure he meant, "Choose up to one permanent. Destroy the rest." costing the same as or one more than Duneblast. (which would probably be too good.)

I opened one last year, got two crap worldwake packs and 8x scathe zombies, which I promptly hid around my sister's apartment for her roommates to find. But, yeah, it was a piece of crap.
You, sir, have just won the internet. Congratulations.
Better template is:
"Whenever a land card is put into your graveyard from anywhere, you may add one mana of any color to your mana pool.
TAP: Put the top four cards from your library into your graveyard."
This would be a very nice Cube card, but it's almost certainly too broken to see print (even/especially in Eternal formats).
Ah, thanks for the correction. And yeah, unfortunately that's true. Honestly, though, I'd probably also run:
Landsapper 1G R
Creature - Human Shaman t: Put the top 4 cards of your library into your graveyard. Add one mana of any color to your mana pool for each land card put into your graveyard this way.
0/1 "Leave preservation to the others. I need power now." - Elan Torel
...though it's a bit closer of a margin. I figure it'd average 1-2 mana each activation.

I actually think this card is printable. In a standard environment without fetchlands, it's fine. It's too slow for legacy. It may be too powerful for Modern, although it's still a 0/1 for two in a format where everyone is playing plenty of spot removal.
I want merciless eviction, but choose two instead of choose 1
So you mean Austere Command? (Obviously a little stronger because Exile, hits PWs, doesn't need to spend both modes to hit all creatures, but you get the idea)

Destroy all permanents.
It seems a bit pushed at 5, and with three colors, almost nobody can use it.
Or some number of hybrid symbols. I was playing the holiday cube today and all I wanted was this card.
Interesting. Seems really tough to use, as you need an indestructible guy or a Slide effect. It seems more Mardu than Abzan too.
