Twinning Pod: Yes, please! I want a card like this so badly, I have actually suggested something very similar twicealready. Your version sacrifices the token, which is something I am not sure Wizards would do anymore. On the other hand, your version also costs one mana more, so it might be ok?
Siege Exarch is another cool tool for the Kiki/Twin deck. I am not sure how white it is to untap any permanent (instead of just a creature), but it might be fine? Even if you don't use it for the combo, it seems super pushed. With flash, double strike and another useful ability, I suppose 1/3 would be good enough. Also, nice Warp Spider Exarch there.
Wildfire Hellkite would be highly appreciated. At 600 cards, I would love to get another Wildfire effect for my cube. I think 3 lands/damage is fine, because there is a 5/5 flyer attached to that effect. Anything more would probably be too much. Hm, I suppose Wizards would actually add "if you cast it from your hand", so that it can't be reanimated on turn three to blow up everything while leaving you with a big flyer. Prevents blink abuse, too.
Goblin Charge-Caller is super cool. However, "can't block" is a black drawback now, while red gets "attacks each turn if able". That would also make the card more interesting (if a bit less powerful), since now the drawback directly interacts with the other ability: Don't want to attack into a blocker? Just return it to your hand to give something haste.
Tomb Calling is a pretty neat arena variant.
...
Here are a few cards that I am thinking about lately (sorry, no cool card images):
Forge Assault2R
Enchantment
Whenever a creature enters the battlefield under your control, Forge Assault deals 2 damage to each opponent. 4R: Put a 1/1 red Goblin creature token onto the battlefield.
Purphoros, God of the Forge enables some very cool combo-ish decks. Too bad that he is the only cubable card with this effect. I would really like to have another one of those. The token ability might look overcosted if compared to cards like Mobilization, but I think the cost is fine, since it is just a bonus on a card that I would almost cube without it and it has a very strong synergy with the card's main ability.
Destructive Command3RRR
Sorcery
Choose two - Destructive Command deals 5 damage to each planeswalker; or Destructive Command deals 4 damage to each creatures; or each player sacrifices 3 lands; or each player sacrifices 2 artifacts.
This is my take on another Wildfire card. I feel like the triple-red is necessary at this level of versality.
Veilborn Shambler1B
Creature - Zombie
Veilborn Shambler can't block.
Whenever a Swamp enters the battlefield under your control, you may return Veilborn Shambler from your graveyard to your hand.
2/1
I like Veilborn Ghoul's mechanics, but it just isn't costed appropriately for cube.
I created Lightning Storm, and the original design was
2RR
Enchantment
Vanishing 3
When a time counter is removed from ~, bolt something.
That might be too strong, but i agree, right now it seems a little underwhelming, even if it is scalable.
Huh, apparently in my current MSE design file (its been a while) i did change it to the current scalable model. lol. I guess the one above is the original that people thought was way too strong
A random one:
And star slayer, i have to go right now, but I'll comment on your cards when i get back from M15 prere
I think it's pretty powerful, although there's zero immediate payoff. People will come to realize that X for 2 is probably the most optimal. Which means you gonna fight with a slew of 4 drops.

It's much harder to break into guild sections than mono sections, and lightning storm has another upside of always doing one thing rather than randomly choosing between 2. Not that I'm saying storm would be an auto-include, just pointing out why the comparison is problematic.
Darkling1B
Creature - Demon Faerie {R}
Flying
At the beginning of your upkeep, you lose 1 life.
Whenever you lose life, if it was from a source you control, put a +1/+1 counter on Darkling.
1/1
Reckless Flamekin R
Creature - Elemental Warrior
When Reckless Flamekin enters the battlefield, it deals 2 damage to you
2/2
Oh, and something I'd love to see:
Sakura-Tribe Eulogist 3GG
Creature - Snake Shaman
Deathtouch
Sacrifice a creature: Search your library for a basic land card and put it onto the battlefield tapped.
3/5
Darkling is amazing. I *really* want it to see print, but I'm afraid it's too good. Infinite combo with Necropotence, Yawgmoth's Bargain and (probably most problematically) Lim Dul's Vault.
But I don't care. I want WOTC to print this and ban whatever cards necessary in whatever formats necessary to make it possible :).
EDIT:
I don't quite see the appeal of Sakura-Tribe Eulogist. Am I missing something?

That's more a plant for my EDH Cube than anything. It takes one of my favorite enchantments (Perilous Forays) and pushes it a little, and straps it onto legs.
Did you know that there's no currently existent green creature that has a no-cost creature sacrifice ability?

Mindbreak is insanely broken and would be an instant 4-of in multiple decks among all three Eternal formats. Nowhere close to printable. Tacking "Kicker U: Draw a card" onto each fetchland and tutor is extremely good, and this is significantly better than that since you don't even need to have the mana available immediately.
Flux Shock is a sideboard card for matchups where it actually kills creatures. The other three are basically useless, especially in Cube.
It is an interesting mechanic to use on a single rare cycle in a 3rd set, though. More expensive but splashier effects would probably be needed.

There are actually several, they're just restricted by tribal design: Ravenous Baloth and a whole bunch of Thallids. Something along those lines but with a more playable tribe or more powerful effect would probably be cubeable.
Ambitious RevolutionaryR
Creature - Goblin Rogue
Dethrone (Whenever this creature attacks the player with the most life or tied for most life, put a +1/+1 counter on it.)
When ~ enters the battlefield, you may have it deal up to 4 damage to you.
1/1
I like, but would probably tweak it a bit. Red can get 1/2s with upside for 2 (Borderland Marauder), so a 1/2 with upside and drawback for 1 should be feasible:

@ Wildfire: It would be cool to see those, but I don't think they'd be able to see print in that form. For the same cost you are getting a more fragile enabler, but it can sac itself to the ability, giving you a free activation.
Sadistic Botanist 3GG
Creature - Human Minion

Yeah I don't think I'd play any of them in regular cube at 5 mana. The blue one seems powerful, but the sort of blue deck that is going to have a lot of creatures in play is probably not going to want a 2-power 5-drop that doesn't really impact the board in anyway way. Turning all your guys into quasi-skullclamps is fun though. The rest are just too narrow to be good, especially the green one where your low drops are probably also ramping you so saccing them does nothing, making it only good in some kind of token/ramp hybrid...thing.
