Im looking for ways to play 2 and 3 player cubes. I want to play in a way that gives tge resault decks of 8 man drafts. Anyone ever made 2 player rules for cubes drafting?
I figured we would have to come up with our own draft
In our two man drafts we have aprox 13 15 card packs. And we take turns picking from a pack until we get four cards each then discard the rest of the pack.
A way I tried over the weekend for 2-man that worked out pretty nicely was to have 18x9 card packs, laid out face up in a 3x3 grid.

Like that. Player A takes 3 cards in a row across or a column down. Player B then does the same, getting 2 or 3 cards depending on what Player A took and if B chooses a row or column. Next time, Player B chooses first. This continues back and forth for 18 packs. Yes, you know what your opponent is playing, but when do you not in a 2-man draft? (I guess there are ways, but this is still a nice, fairly quick way to do it and you see a lot of cards)
I've used that format too. It's really quick, allows a greater number of cards to be seen, and also forces you to choose between what you need and what the other person wants. We did 18 'packs' of the 3x3 grid.
