Limited decks tend to run 12-16 creatures per deck and anywhere between 7-10 non-creature spells. I imagine the average is closer to 14-15 creatures and 8-9 spells. This being the ratio, what should an appropriate percentage of creatures and spells per color in the cube?
Certainly, I know that people put more creatures in certain colors like green. But, is there a consensus on the ratio?
Eidolon, any data on this would be illustrative and immensely helpful.
The reason I bring this up is that I find our decks lacking creatures. It could be that everyone wants to draft awesome spells first and creatures later, or simply there are not enough creatures to go around.

Didn't realize that I was 4-6% low on my blue & black. Interesting. There aren't any creatures I want to add in U/B right now so hopefully we get some more in the next few sets.
I'm actually pretty glad with my small green non-creature suite. It makes the color more flexible in that the second color will be the color that has more spells while green provides the creatures. This is what I want from my green section. My white & red are right where they should be.
I'm thinking of putting in more "colorless" cards than colored cards per section, but the colorless also includes lands so it should be solidly balanced.

That is really high on creatures...I feel that is inaccurate.

Average POWERED cube or average cube? I guess I prefer some more balance of powerful spells instead of everyone load up on creatures and fight!

I meant avg number of creatures in those sections.
