This thread is for discussion of possible Cube additions from the new set.
Honestly, I'm still trying to figure out how to manage the Gold section of cube now. Because Shadowmoor is only allied-colored Hybrid cards, certain color combinations will have a far larger number of Cube-playable cards than others (until the next set comes out at least). This begs the question, do the allied colors now get a larger piece of the gold section because the quality of the new cards demands it, or do I keep a strict balance between all the combinations despite some cards showing a drastic difference in quality.
With that in mind, here are the potential cards that, in my mind, look to be possible additions to Cube:
:2mana::symw: Creature - Kithkin SoldierFirst strike
Ballynock Cohort gets +1/+1 as long as you control another white creature.A kithkin's worst enemy is solitude.Illus. Jesper Ejsing#3/301
2/2
I really like this creature. Fills the relatively weak 3cc slot in WW decks, and is even a solid creature without having a friend around.
:3mana::symr: SorceryBurn Trail deals 3 damage to target creature or player.
Conspire (As you play this spell, you may tap two untapped creatures you control that share a color with it. When you do, copy it and you may choose a new target for the copy.)Illus. Nils Haam
It's probably not good enough for Cube, but I don't want to be too quick to dismiss it. Six damage for four mana is pretty ridiculous if you can pull off the conditions enough to warrant it's inclusion.
:5mana::symg::symg::symg: Creature - Treefolk ShamanTrample
When Woodfall Primus comes into play, destroy target noncreature permanent.
Persist (When this creature is put into a graveyard from play, if it had no -1/-1 counters on it, return it to play under its owner's control with a -1/-1 counter on it)Illus. Adam Rex
6/6
I really, really like this guy though. Other than Verdant Force, Green really doesn't have anything else worth playing in the 8cc. That's a shame really because often a good 1/5 of that color in many Cubes is dedicated to pumping mana out ASAP.
:symwu::symwu::symwu::symwu::symwu: Creature - Spirit AvatarFlying
Other creatures are 1/1."What she saw crawling upon this world repulsed her. Yet she could not tear her gaze away."
-The Seer's ParablesIllus. Mark Zug#142/301 4/4
Still on the fence about this guy. Not only because of the hard to manage mana, but the effect is only decent and not relevent once this creature is removed. I'll have to see how it plays out.
:symbu::symbu: Creature - Merfolk RogueInkfathom Infiltrator can't block and is unblockable. No one can navigate the dank maze of Shadowmoor's rivers better than the cruel and covetous merrows. They use the currents to steal - and to steal away.Illus. Jesper Ejsing#167/301
2/1
This guy on the other hand, is awesome. Easily going in and staying in. A solid Black, Blue, and BU 2cc creature is always accepted.
:symbu::symbu::symbu: Creature - Faerie SoldierFlying"I doubt that faeries understand how short their lives are, compared to the rest of us. If they did, would they so readily charge into battle, heedless of the danger before them?"
-Awylla, elvish safewrightIllus. Warren Mahy#179/301 3/2
Yet another extremely efficient creature in that color combination. Definitely exciting.
:symrb::symrb::symrb: Creature - Elemental WarriorAshenmoor Gouger can't block.Illus. Matt Cavotta#180/301
4/4
Just a solid fat man that I'm sure won't disappoint.
:symrb::symrb::symrb::symrb::symrb: Creature - Spirit AvatarFlying, haste
When you play Demigod of Revenge, return all cards named Demigod of Revenge from your graveyard to play."His laugh, a bellowing, deathly din, slices through the heavens, making them bleed."
-The Seer's ParablesIllus. Jim Murray#183/301
5/4
This guy just screams awesome. Big flying haste creatures are always welcome, and the mana shouldn't be too unworkable hopefully. Even if it is, this creature is still just as good turn 15 as turn 5 I imagine.
:1mana::symrb::symrb: Creature - Elemental ShamanSacrifice Fulminator Mage: Destroy target nonbasic land."Unsafe Terrain Ahead - Turn Back"
-Sign near the former location of Pyrtagh CairnIllus. R.K. Post#188/301
2/2
I'll have to see if this guy is good enough to make the cut, but in most Cubes with a greater percentage of non-basics I imagine this guy to be a house.
:3mana::symrg: Legendary Creature - Giant Shaman:symtap:: add to your mana pool. Spend this mana only on costs that contain :xmana:.Night after night, Rosheen babbled about a bygone sunlit world, her every word dismissed as a madwoman's ravings.Illus. Aleksi Briclot#214/301 4/4
This creature probably won't make the cut in mine, but he is a very simple to cast 4/4 for four in two colors that has the added benefit of making all the Fireball effects even more ridiculous.
Vexing Shusher
:symrg::symrg: Creature - Goblin ShamanVexing Shusher can't be countered by spells or abilities.
{rg}: Target spell can't be countered by spells or abilities. #223/301
2/2
Awesome creature that I'm sure will make the cut. He's very flexible with solid stats for his ability.
:symgw::symgw::symgw: Creature - Elf KnightVigilanceEvery elf in Shadowmoor is charged from birth with a terrible duty: to strike back against the ugliness and darkness, even though they are all around and seemingly without end.Illus. Steve Prescott#244/301
3/4
This guy just has awesome stats that I would love to include if GW has the room (which is debatable).
:1mana::symgw::symgw::symgw: Creature - Elf KnightOther green creatures you control get +1/+1.
Other white creatures you control get +1/+1.
If a spell or ability an opponent controls causes you to discard Wilt-Leaf Liege, put it into play instead of putting it into your graveyard.Illus. Jason Chan#245/301
4/4
This creature though, will find room in GW no matter how tight it is. His stats and abilities are just through the roof in the power department.
Fire Canopy*
Land:symtap:: Add to your mana pool.

There are plenty of other cards that people will be interested in including in cube, and with nearly 2/3 of the set still to be spoiled, I'm sure there are tons of gems still waiting to be revealed.
It troubles me how so many of the Cube-worthy cards in Shadowmoor are hybrid. I know that I want to play a lot of them, but it will skew the color distrobution of multicolored cards in Cube.
It'll be interesting to see how people accomidate them.
Which is why long time ago, I said **** it, and stopped worrying about the colour distribution. Why include subpar cards in one colour or colour combination just so the colour matches? As long as the cube is balanced in terms of playability, I will be happy.
On the issues of cube-able shadowmoor cards, I can only see a few that I will definitely put in:
Fulminator Mage: Wasteland on legs? Only 1 of each non-basic in the entire cube? What? Creature recursion you say? He will definitely go in as soon as I can get one.
Reflecting Pool: I missed out on the older one, couldn't find it, so this is my 2nd chance at getting it. It is definitely worth putting into the cube.
Primus: Maybe, since he is such a good reanimation target. Though he will be competing with some tried and true green fatties like Verdant Force in the 8cc slot.
The other cards I'm not so sure about. Vexing Shusher, maybe, but his best application would be against stuff like Chalice of the Void and Counterbalance, cards that are REALLY bad in cubes. There aren't enough counter magic in cubes to warrant including something that totally hoses counterspells. Also, there are ALOT of 2 drops in red and green....I don't know about this guy.
All the other cards spoiled so far looks underpowered, except maybe for the Liege cycle and the Avatar cycle. MAYBE those can be good cube cards, but I don't think they can all make it. Probably a few would, but not all 10 of them.
Oona, on the other hand, is excellent. Since she is just like an Invasion Dragon, and those are all pretty cube-able. She is like a new Meloku, and can work for mono black, which is very cool.

Check out my pauper cube! and thanks to PurpleD @ [<--- Left Play Design <---] for making this awesome banner!
Inkfathom Infiltrator is amazing in just about any format. I'll need to find room for it in my Cube. Fulminator Mage will probably not go in my Cube just because I doubt I'll have any extra that won't be in decks.
Nothing else has really wowed me in terms of Cube. Maybe the Primus, but there is quite a lot of fat already. Deus of Calamity is neat and the Gouger is nice fast fat.
:3mana::symbu::symbu::symbu: Legendary Creature - Faerie WizardFlying
:xmana::symbu:: Choose a color. Target opponent removes the top X cards of his or her library from the game. For each card of the chosen color removed this way, put a 1/1 blue and black Faerie Rogue creature token with flying into play.Illus. Adam Rex#172/301
5/5
I didn't think much of her at first, but upon further inspection she seems like exactly the kind of late-game bomb you want in Cube.
Creature - Goblin WarriorTattermunge Maniac attacks each turn if able.It shows up at one meal wearing the carcass of the last.Illus. Matt Cavotta#219/301
2/1
Just like rantipole said, this man will be an automatic inclusion for the most part. Flexable and aggressive, this card is awesome.
I play the 2/2 Hound and Kird Ape, still looking for Jungle Lion. I'll probably drop Jungle Lion and exchange it for the Maniac, but I don't think it's that good.
You want to have some 1 drops, but both red, green and white have other powerfull one drops.
Flame Javelin is a card I like a lot, and will be included. As will the 4/4 G/W hybrid that pumps green and whites ..
Apart from those mentioned in this thread, not a lot of cards of SHM will make it.
But we've not seen half of the set, so let's not be disappointed too early.

Some recently spoiled cards that are possibilities for Cube:
Spirit Procession
:sym2w::sym2w::sym2w: SorceryPut three 1/1 white Spirit creature tokens with flying into play.Illus. Jeremy Enecio#23/301
Having additional mass token production in the color of Crusade effects is very appealing to me. This goes hand and hand with Battle Screech.
Twilight Shepherd
:3mana::symw::symw::symw: Creature - AngelFlying, vigilance, persist
When Twilight Shepherd comes into play, return to your hand all cards that were put into your graveyard from play this turn.
5/5
Yet another awesome 6cc creature in White. Quite a lot of abilities, all of them relevant, with a respectable P/T as well.
Puppeteer Clique
:3mana::symb::symb: Creature - Faerie WizardFlying
When Puppeteer Clique comes into play, put target creature card in an opponent's graveyard into play under your control. That creature gains haste. At end of turn, remove that creature from the game.
Persist (When this creature is put into a graveyard from play, if it had no -1/-1 counters on it, return it to play under its owner's control with a -1/-1 counter on it)Illus. Daren Bader#75/301
3/2
A lot of hype around this guy, and probably for good reason. Persist with this ability seems pretty solid overall.
Smash to Smithereens
:1mana::symr: InstantDestroy target artifact. Smash to Smithereens deals 3 damage to that artifact's controller.
Illus. Pete Venters#107/301
I don't have any "Destroy Target Artifact" cards in here simply because I only have 60 targets out of 720 cards, but this card might do what Ancient Grudge, Shattering Pulse, Shattering Spree, or Smash could not convince me to do.
Thicket Elf*
:2mana::symg: Creature - Elf DruidWhen Thicket Elf comes into play, you may search your library for a basic land card and put that card into play tapped. If you do, shuffle your library.
1/1
Wood Elves has been "meh" during it's stay in the Cube, but this guy looks to be far more saucy and quickly replacing W.E.
Boggart Ram-Gang
:symrg::symrg::symrg: Creature - Goblin WarriorHaste
Wither (This deals damage to creatures in the form of -1/-1 counters)"We're going to need a bigger gate"
-Bowen, Barrenton GuardcaptainIllus. Dave Allsop#203/301
3/3
Efficient creature, good colors for aggression, going in....
Murderous Redcap
:2mana::symrb::symrb: Creature - Goblin AssassinWhen Murderous Redcap comes into play, it deals damage equal to its power to target creature or player.
PersistIllus. Dave Allsop#192/301
2/2
This guy seems pretty sweet to me. I could be overrating him, but most larger Cubes play Ghitu Slinger, and this guy looks to be the next step for the most part (if you forgive the extra mana covering the Echo cost and having Persist tacked on).
Kitchen Finks
:1mana::symgw::symgw: Creature - OupheWhen Kitchen Finks comes into play, you gain 2 life.
PersistIllus. Kev Walker#229/301
3/2
Good enough to probably cut it in the already tight GW color combination.
I wish he didn't require the full six damage to resolve to destroy a land, but then again he might be too good if he didn't, idk. Who knows, he may be good enough, but for 5 colored mana the creature had better be pretty ridiculous. 6/6 trample for five is a good start, so we'll have to see how it plays out.
On another note, I think this card makes a solid addition to white:
Prison Sentence*
:1mana::symw::symw: Enchantment - AuraEnchanted creature cannot attack or block. Its activated abilities cannot be played.
If a creature comes into play under an opponent's control you may attach Prison Sentence onto that creature.Illus. Zoltan Boros & Gabor Szikszai#18/301
Much better than Arrest in any deck that isn't lightly splashing white (I know some people don't run Pacifism-effects in Cube, but White removal is still solid enough for consideration).
:1mana::symw::symw: Enchantment - AuraEnchanted creature cannot attack or block. Its activated abilities cannot be played.

This card stood out to me as well. It will probably replace Pacifism. It's just a really annoying card to have played on one of your creatures.
:2mana::symg: Creature - Goblin WarriorTrample
Whenever Hungry Spriggan attacks, it gets +3/+3 until end of turn.If a spriggan's eyes are larger than its stomach, it has ways to remedy the situation.Illus. Drew Tucker#120/301
1/1
I think this guy is very solid at supporting a beatdown plan, acting as a 4/4 trampler for 2G. Very easy to splash, but also very good in a heavy green deck where he can come down turn two.
Trip Noose
Artifact:2mana:, :symtap:: Tap target creature.
The two Cubes in my area (one of which is mine) are very creature oriented, making Icy Manipulator and Puppet Strings very solid picks. This goes right along with that strategy.
Somnomancer
:1mana::symwu: Creature - Kithkin WizardWhen Somnomancer comes into play, you may tap target creature."Are you tired? You look tired."Illus. Lars Grant-West#149/301
2/1
I'm on the fence about this one. I like to have beatdown cards in my gold colors, and this creature looks like a solid one for inclusion. Basically a more limited, cheaper Pestermite (who has been solid in Cube), which may or may not be enough.
On an off note, I think the Hybrid cards in this set make Dark Ritual and Seething Song far stronger than they were previously in cube. The RG and RB Demigods are all supported very well by Song and the BR and UB three-drops make very good use of Ritual as well.
There aren't a lot of cards I've seen, but some where imo really broken enough to put in cube.
There is the Flame Javelin, mentioned above and Inquisitor's Snare which I like a lot.

"Everybody dies, Tracey. Someone's carrying a bullet for you right now, doesn't even know it. The trick is to die of old age before it finds you."
So given all the hybrid goodness of Shadowmoor, I was thinking of adding a hybrid card to my Cube for each allied color. This will give allied pairs a slightly higher representation than enemy pairs. The hybrids I run right now are all the guildmagi and Djinn Illuminatus (who is on the watch list for cutting).
I wish he didn't require the full six damage to resolve to destroy a land, but then again he might be too good if he didn't, idk. I often play alots of R/G fixers and in 2 colors, the full 5 colored hybrids are not a problem... We did 3 session with shadowmoor cards allready, 2 ofthem a playerplayed RG land destruction, the demi god has won so many games....
About the arrest like, considering that white is often a support collor in control archetypes, im notsold about the WW in casting cost.
I really consider a new colorsection : Hybrids beside the Golds/Split cards. Theproblem is that we need Opposite colors hybrinds in Eventide or it will really be unfair. The other main problem is cube size and color balance. I allmost cant cutt anythingin Blue, and i planned to cutt alot of things in other colors to substitute the hybid cards so blue will be really unbalanced in number.
Possibles:
-Kitchen Finks (really solid, but not convinced it's better than the other GW creatures)
-Knollspine Invocation
-Spawnwrithe
-Witherscale Wurm
-Augery Adept
-Godhead of Awe
-Somnomancer
-Plumeveil
-Sygg, River Cutthroat
-Ashenmoor Liege
-Torrent of Souls
-Boartusk Liege
-Rosheen Meanderer
-Wort, the Raidmother
-Goblin Shusher
-Oversoul of Dusk
Overall, I'm very impressed with the set in regards to Cube.
Kitchen Finks is so awesome I'm taking out previously established GW creatures to put him in. He is like a Loxodon Hierarch for 3 mana. Definitely put him over something like the Wilt-Leaf Cavaliers. 3 for 3/4 Vigilance? Seems too bland to me for cubes. Kitchen Finks can at least be abused with Recurring Nightmare and other sacrifice/recursion sources.
There is a reason why Tarmogoyf blows in cubes, it's the same reason why most vanilla creatures are low picks in most cubes, because they simply don't do enough.

Didnt think about it definatly yet... I'll have a big Cube Size problem if i listen to myself... Too much good cards, and not that much i wanna remove from my cube, even if i have some very bad cards.
Ill keep you tuned as soon as its décided yet.
I allready tested cards i get from APs, such as RG demigod, which is sick, Sygg, as expected, bombastic in RB aggro/Blast, The Black/Green/Red Hybrids 3 colored/2 colorless (Besech the queen, flame Javelin and the green one) all seem to be really promising.... Also, Oona is definatly in, but not played yet. A card i'm really in love with is the reanimator kithkin (1/4 for 1WW, untap to renaimate creature with 2 or less strengh) but not played yet....
A friend's frist selection, which i guess, will be close of mine :
Red:
Flame Javelin
Smash to smithereens
Knollspine invocation
Green:
Mana reflection
Gleeful sabotage
Prismatic omen
Hybrids:
Augury adept
Godhead of Awe
Puresight merrow
Oona, queen of the fae
Sygg, river cutthroat
Safewright quest
Tattermunge maniac
Vexing shusher
memory plunder
Guttural response
safewright quest
Wilt-leaf liege
Artefacts:
Scuttlemutt
Im definatly not sold on mana reflection, but perhaps that I'll reconsider combo parts such as mana flare/Hearthbeat/Early Harvest and turnabout, so why not...

You're probably right. I really do like the 3/4 Vigilance guy a lot though.
I can't agree that 'Goyf blows in Cubes though. He's still pretty ridiculous. My cube plays differently than many other Cubes in that I forced aggro pretty heavily in it's design. This makes cards like 'Goyf and the 3/4 high picks in many decks. I can see if Combo cards have a higher concentration of slots in a Cube that the value of 'Goyf may be slightly lower, but I refuse to believe he is ever "blows".
EDIT 1: Knacksaw Clique bombtastic Neonico? He reminds me of a Thieving Magpie with one more toughness that allows you to pay 2 and give him Vigilance/Mill a card/possibly be able to play the card if you have the right mana, etc. I do like the possible addition of Scuttlemutt though. He was pretty awesome at the pre-release, and would probably make it into a lot of decks in Cube. Probably better than Grim Poppet since that guy can't actually shoot players and seven is a lot of mana.....
I guess out of all the cubes I've played in, most of them have been more controllish. Which isn't surprising, since most of the more bombtastic cards in cubes are either straight up 1 for more, like Wrath variants (Pernicious Deed, Damnation, Starstorm, etc), win conditions (Meloku, Tinker -> Colossus, Akroma, Demonfire), or some type of ridiculous enabler (Survival of the Fittest, Recurring Nightmare, Tooth and Nail). Tarmogoyf becomes a very very bad card in this environment. Coupled with the fact that there is a total of 6 fetches (counting Terramorphic Expanse), and Tarmogoyf usually becomes a 2 mana for 3/4 most of the time. That's really bad, particularly when everything and their mother kills it. Almost all of the removal suite played in cubes can kill it, bigger creatures that usually never see play in constructed, but are limited bombs simply laughs at his small size, and he doesn't even have evasion or protection of any kind to dodge all of those hate.
You can run out a goyf really early, but he often isn't aggressive enough early. Anything from False Prophet to Moat, to Yosei, the Morning Star deals with him, and this is in white, usually the weaker colour in cubes, since Tarmogoyfs rarely gets big enough, fast enough. There is a reason why during TPF, if you weren't money drafting, you would never want to see a Tarmogoyf as your rare (instead, you wanted stuff like Molten Disaster, Magus of the Future, and Take Possession). Limited differs from constructed, particularly if you only get to play with one copy. Many cards that are stellar in constructed become so bad when they enter a limited setting (Chalice of the Void, Counterbalance, Magus of the Moon, Spell Snare, etc).
I've NEVER, EVER, had any problem dealing with Tarmogoyfs in limited. I mean, seriously, what can a vanilla 3/4 or 4/5 do to me when I'm recurring a Kokusho with Volrath's Stronghold?

He's just a redundant beater. Not acting as a finisher like in Extended or Legacy, but more like in Standard where he fills the two-drop with a pretty ridiculous P/T ratio. Put enough random beaters and disruption spells together and you have a deck. In such a deck, his P/T often makes him a very solid card to be able to include. Of course if a game reaches a point where you're doing stuff like recurring Kokusho with Stronghold, then it's probably over.
Okay guys, here is my selection analysing darkmindtone and Thrond’s lists (Thrond is another cube owner from paris) anbd what i noticed during the spoiler list revelation.
Red:
Flame Javelin => Obvious inclusion, very good blast spell.
Smash to smithereens => Very very good artefact destruction spell. Obvious
Knollspine invocation => A better Stormbind ? In no matter what... I definatly wait for the 6 damages fiery temper or the 5 damages Arrogant wurm.
Black:
Midnight Banshee => Very very good finisher in black.
Dusk Urchins => Really nice crature too. Worth testing for me, thrond dismissed it.
Lands:
Reflecting pool (Allready in) = Allready in, no brainer. Find a foil one (Not me, i definatly prefer my japaneese one ;))
Fire-lit Thicket, Graven Cairns (Allready in), Sunken Ruins, Mystic Gate, Wooded Bastion : Definatly in. Not sure if i’ll remove the Vivid or not to bring them in. The only reall problem is that they are far less beautifull than Future sight Gravern Cairns
White:
Order of whiteclay => Really good reanimation spell. I really love it.
Prison Term => Ill definatly remove one of the pacifism like in my cube to bring this one. Really good.
BLue:
Knacksaw Clique => Really Really Really fan of this. For me it’s obvious.
Green:
Prismatic omen => interesting enchant for Coffers, Corrupt, drain life and others... Worth trying.
Farhaven Elf => Very good mana acceleration. Obvious inclusion for me.
Hybrids:
Firesprout => How can you forget about this silly Pyroclasm like ? Definatly in for me.
Fulminator Mage => 2/2 Wasteland for 3, in the good color combinaison for denial archetype. Obvious for me, Thrond won’t include it but i think its an error.
Deus of Calamity => For me, auto include. 6/6 for 5 trample, with a good denial ability if unresponded.
Kitchen Finks => Very close of Loxodon Hierarch, perhaps better in some circonstances. Definatly in for me, not for Thrond.
Godhead of Awe => I play humility, this one is allmost as good with a nice 4/4 flying body for 5
Puresight merrow => Obvious inclusion for me. Nice draw fixing ability, on a 2/2 for 2.
Oona, queen of the fae => Very nice finisher. Obvious inclusion.
Sygg, river cutthroat => For me it’s an obvious inclusion, for both RB aggro/Blast archetype and a good legend for EDH Cubing.
Vexing shusher => Uncounterable Denial spells for RG aggro denial achetypes ? Count me in. Obvious.
Memory Plunder => Worth trying, can do some silly things. Got a foil one from preview
Guttural response => Obvious
safewright quest => Cheap land tutor, search for biland, obvious inclusion.
Wilt-leaf liege => 4/4 for 4, crusade in 2 main aggro colors, obvious inclusion
Torrent of Souls => Thrond dismissed it, but i really like it myself.... I’ll definatly try it.
Oversoul of Dusk => Obvisous inclusion, really nice creature, perhaps replacing the UW angel
Wort, the Raidmother => Another legendary creature for EDH Cubing. Nice Abilities, worth testing.
Witherscale Wurm => Will make the cutt, not sure what Big Green Creature to remove for it.
Boartusk Liege => I’ll try it... Not sure its good or not, But i love RG aggro, and its really a nice beatstick
Artefacts:
Scuttlemutt => Nice mana fixing, another possible usefull abilitie, obvious inclusion. Perhaps i’ll remove the Myr in my cube, but this one is definatly in.
THINGS I’LL TRY BUT I DONT THINK IT WILL MAKE THE CUTT
Hungry Spriggan, White-Leaf Cavaliers, Wasp Lancer, Ashenmoor Gouger and Boggart Ram-Gang => Nice bodies for 3 colored hybrids or 3 mana. Worth trying, not sure it will stick.
Grim Poppet => For me, its in, not for my friend... Will have to compare with Pentavus and Triskelavus (which is definatly the best of all) and triskelion (think this one will stick too)
Tattermunge maniac => Jackal Pup like, not definatly fan of it but nice drop for R and G aggro decks. Will try but not sure it will stick.
Demigod of Revenge => Just a 5/4 haste flying for 5. Nice body but weaker than the UW and RG ones. I will test it but not sure it will stay
Murderous Redcap => I play things like Ghitu slinger but was about to remove them. Overall better so it can replace it. Worth trying but not sure it will stay.
Repel Intruders => definatly better than some counterspells in my cube. The only problem is that it only counters creatures. Will tru but IMHO it costs one too much to be good.
Spawnwrithe => Love it, not sure it will stay for long but at least, ill try it.
Mana reflection => I dont really love it... too expensive IMHO. Thrond suggested it and will try it. I wont.
Polluted bond = > Suggested by Thrond, i’m not definatly for it. Will wait for feedback from him but for me, its out.
Puppeteer Clique => Need feedback for this one. For me, it can be good but i’m not sure.
Twilight Shepard => Really dont think about that. I'll need some feedback.
THINGS I WONT EVEN TRY AND FIND TOO WEAK
Somnomancer => no flash, not sure if i can include it instead of another knight in White... Dont think it will do the cutt.
Plumeveil => Not good enough, Wont include it....
Ashenmoor Liege => Not good enough, compared to the RG and WG ones.... Wont include it.
Trip Noose => The only effect i keep in my cube like that is icy manipulator, because it can tap any permanent. When its creature only, i dont include.
Rosheen Meanderer => Really not convinced its good. Dismissed for me...
Inkfathom Infiltrator => definatly too weak
Woodfall Primus => Nice, but costs 8 :? Really not sure i’ll even try it.
Gleeful sabotage => Enough green Enchant/Artefact destrution. This one doesn’t bring a good enough new ability so no for me.
THINGS THAT NONE OF YOU LISTED AND I’LL INCLUDE :
Tower Above and Beesech the Queen => Both are good enough for me and at least worth trying.
Poison the Well, instead of Despoil.
Finally : What do you think of :
Impromptu Raid : I dont love Sneak attack and this one can be interesting.
Tyranize : In a good Red and/or Black aggro deck, as good as Mindtwist IMHO
-Tower Above was pretty ridiculous last weekend, so I can understand the possibility of including it. A pseudo targeted removal effect in green that gets huge amounts of damage across is pretty saucy.
-I need to give Knollspine Invocation a shot I think. In the long game turning every card you draw into and X-spell seems pretty overwhelming.
-I like Midnight Banshee quite a bit, but there are so many good 6cc creatures in Black already. He doesn't have evasion which was the kicker for me not including him. Definitely still a possibility if he turns out better than I expect.
-I have no idea how to judge Order of Whiteclay. He seems promising, so maybe?
-I will probably get Witherscale Wurm in there as well. He's probably pretty solid in actual games despite the drawback. I'll have to see.
-I've heard extremely solid feedback on Murderous Redcap so far. I'm expecting great things from him.
-I like Puppeteer Clique because black because of the huge number of removal spells black usually packs. Removal/discard can give this man some saucy targets (Beacon of Unrest is always very solid for us).

The good news is : only 15 colored cards, no blue, only one artefact so it will be easy to make room for those cards.
The bad news : 20 Hybrids to add, really dont know how i'll do it actually.
Ballynock Cohort
:2mana::symw: Creature - Kithkin SoldierFirst strike
Ballynock Cohort gets +1/+1 as long as you control another white creature.A kithkin's worst enemy is solitude.Illus. Jesper Ejsing#3/301
2/2
I really like this creature. Fills the relatively weak 3cc slot in WW decks, and is even a solid creature without having a friend around.
Burn Trail
:3mana::symr: SorceryBurn Trail deals 3 damage to target creature or player.
Conspire (As you play this spell, you may tap two untapped creatures you control that share a color with it. When you do, copy it and you may choose a new target for the copy.)Illus. Nils Haam
It's probably not good enough for Cube, but I don't want to be too quick to dismiss it. Six damage for four mana is pretty ridiculous if you can pull off the conditions enough to warrant it's inclusion.
Woodfall Primus
:5mana::symg::symg::symg: Creature - Treefolk ShamanTrample
Godhead of Awe
:symwu::symwu::symwu::symwu::symwu: Creature - Spirit AvatarFlying
Other creatures are 1/1."What she saw crawling upon this world repulsed her. Yet she could not tear her gaze away."
-The Seer's ParablesIllus. Mark Zug#142/301
4/4
Still on the fence about this guy. Not only because of the hard to manage mana, but the effect is only decent and not relevent once this creature is removed. I'll have to see how it plays out.
Inkfathom Infiltrator
:symbu::symbu: Creature - Merfolk RogueInkfathom Infiltrator can't block and is unblockable. No one can navigate the dank maze of Shadowmoor's rivers better than the cruel and covetous merrows. They use the currents to steal - and to steal away.Illus. Jesper Ejsing#167/301
2/1
This guy on the other hand, is awesome. Easily going in and staying in. A solid Black, Blue, and BU 2cc creature is always accepted.
Wasp Lancer
:symbu::symbu::symbu: Creature - Faerie SoldierFlying"I doubt that faeries understand how short their lives are, compared to the rest of us. If they did, would they so readily charge into battle, heedless of the danger before them?"
-Awylla, elvish safewrightIllus. Warren Mahy#179/301
3/2
Yet another extremely efficient creature in that color combination. Definitely exciting.
Ashenmoor Gouger
:symrb::symrb::symrb: Creature - Elemental WarriorAshenmoor Gouger can't block.Illus. Matt Cavotta#180/301
4/4
Just a solid fat man that I'm sure won't disappoint.
Demigod of Revenge
Fulminator Mage
:1mana::symrb::symrb: Creature - Elemental ShamanSacrifice Fulminator Mage: Destroy target nonbasic land."Unsafe Terrain Ahead - Turn Back"
-Sign near the former location of Pyrtagh CairnIllus. R.K. Post#188/301
2/2
I'll have to see if this guy is good enough to make the cut, but in most Cubes with a greater percentage of non-basics I imagine this guy to be a house.
Rosheen Meanderer
:3mana::symrg: Legendary Creature - Giant Shaman:symtap:: add to your mana pool. Spend this mana only on costs that contain :xmana:.Night after night, Rosheen babbled about a bygone sunlit world, her every word dismissed as a madwoman's ravings.Illus. Aleksi Briclot#214/301
4/4
This creature probably won't make the cut in mine, but he is a very simple to cast 4/4 for four in two colors that has the added benefit of making all the Fireball effects even more ridiculous.
Vexing Shusher
:symrg::symrg: Creature - Goblin ShamanVexing Shusher can't be countered by spells or abilities.
{rg}: Target spell can't be countered by spells or abilities.
#223/301
2/2
Awesome creature that I'm sure will make the cut. He's very flexible with solid stats for his ability.
Wilt-Leaf Cavaliers
:symgw::symgw::symgw: Creature - Elf KnightVigilanceEvery elf in Shadowmoor is charged from birth with a terrible duty: to strike back against the ugliness and darkness, even though they are all around and seemingly without end.Illus. Steve Prescott#244/301
3/4
This guy just has awesome stats that I would love to include if GW has the room (which is debatable).
Wilt-Leaf Liege
:1mana::symgw::symgw::symgw: Creature - Elf KnightOther green creatures you control get +1/+1.
Other white creatures you control get +1/+1.
If a spell or ability an opponent controls causes you to discard Wilt-Leaf Liege, put it into play instead of putting it into your graveyard.Illus. Jason Chan#245/301
4/4
This creature though, will find room in GW no matter how tight it is. His stats and abilities are just through the roof in the power department.
Fire Canopy*

There are plenty of other cards that people will be interested in including in cube, and with nearly 2/3 of the set still to be spoiled, I'm sure there are tons of gems still waiting to be revealed.

Random AIM convo:
Xsaber57 (7:31:18 PM): Listen!
RedFalcon912 (7:31:26 PM): stfu Navi

Limited is awesome, join us at [Limited]!
I've considered Flamekin Bladewhirl (not sure if there are enough elementals) and Ghazban Ogre.
How many is too many?
Inkfathom Infiltrator is amazing in just about any format. I'll need to find room for it in my Cube. Fulminator Mage will probably not go in my Cube just because I doubt I'll have any extra that won't be in decks.
Nothing else has really wowed me in terms of Cube. Maybe the Primus, but there is quite a lot of fat already. Deus of Calamity is neat and the Gouger is nice fast fat.

I didn't think much of her at first, but upon further inspection she seems like exactly the kind of late-game bomb you want in Cube.
Tattermunge Maniac

Just like rantipole said, this man will be an automatic inclusion for the most part. Flexable and aggressive, this card is awesome.

:3mana::symb::symb: Creature - Faerie WizardFlying
:symrg::symrg::symrg: Creature - Goblin WarriorHaste
Wither (This deals damage to creatures in the form of -1/-1 counters)"We're going to need a bigger gate"

PersistIllus. Dave Allsop#192/301

NEonico, gogo RG Land destruction archetype...

I think this guy is very solid at supporting a beatdown plan, acting as a 4/4 trampler for 2G. Very easy to splash, but also very good in a heavy green deck where he can come down turn two.
Trip Noose
Artifact:2mana:, :symtap:: Tap target creature.
The two Cubes in my area (one of which is mine) are very creature oriented, making Icy Manipulator and Puppet Strings very solid picks. This goes right along with that strategy.

GW:
Ugh. Too many good cards here. I'd probably go with Kitchen Finks. Wilt-Leaf Cavaliers, Wilt-Leaf Liege, and the Oversoul all look really good, too.
WU:
Nothing other than the Godhead and her corresponding aura caught my eye here. Turn to Mist looks interesting and gives me another blink effect.
UB:
Oona really stands out, but the Inkfathom Infiltrators are nasty little aggro creatures.

Im definatly not sold on mana reflection, but perhaps that I'll reconsider combo parts such as mana flare/Hearthbeat/Early Harvest and turnabout, so why not...
ANd Knacksaw Clique is definatly bombastic....

Check out my pauper cube!

Augury adept => Nice ophidian like, obvious inclusion.
Guttural response => Obvious
safewright quest => Cheap land tutor, search for biland, obvious inclusion.
I'll try to respond to more points later.

The good news is : only 15 colored cards, no blue, only one artefact so it will be easy to make room for those cards.
The bad news : 20 Hybrids to add, really dont know how i'll do it actually.
