With the reprint of Lightning Strike, could we see Ramunap Red speeding up even more? It's basically where Red is now, but playing the 4 Wily Goblins gives us in essence 4 more sources of mana, so therefore we can drop to 20 land and play more burn spells. For example...
Yes, Built to Smash is probably better as Abrade, but here it could work as a pseudo-Lightning Bolt. To go even faster, you could throw out the Crashers and replace them with Soul-Scar Mage, to get prowess off the burn spells...
I believe that, with the limited information we have so far and an assumption that nothing yet to be revealed will change things significantly, Ramunap Red is set to be an oppressive deck in the new Standard. Besides gaining Lightning Strike, the more important things are that Grasp of Darkness is gone, and Kalitas is gone. Grasp of Darkness was the check against Hazoret, and Kalitas was a 4-toughness creature that caused RR to run out of steam because of the lifelink and ability to provide blocking tokens easily.
The format needs a Flaying Tendrils or Drown in Sorrow. Bontu's Last Reckoning might be the only option (other than Sweltering Suns which is red itself). Yahenni's Expertise is 4 mana, which makes it too late unless you have ramp.
I'm really skeptical about Wily Goblin. I think the card is weak. But it does have some interesting synergy in your specific build here. It turns on Inventor's Apprentice.
