I would consider running Golgari Charm in the mainboard. If Aristocrats becomes a thing you're going to see main deck anger of the gods and potentially Rest in Peace. Golgari charm on its own maindeck is absolutely insane against control and the -1/-1 would help you against mass tokens (as you aren't running Bile Blight).

I'm happy there are people working on this. Aristocrats was my favorite deck to play with/against last season.
Just some ideas I've been thinking about for this type of deck:
You mention sac outlet abuse in a junk deck, but have left out Varolz, the Scar-Striped. He's a resilient sac outlet that also lets us do things with creatures that actually hit the graveyard. Athreos can even be scavenged at a great ratio of 5 counters for 3 mana. I think he is worth trying out, even if the 3 cmc spot is looking crowded.
This next part is mostly conjecture, but if we are focusing on keeping the curve low, say below 3 cmc, what does adding green do for us to justify the splash? We get Voice of Resurgence and Experiment One, and perhaps Setessan Tactics. I'm not sure that is enough to give up the consistency of just straight BW aggro.

why not splash red instead of green? get boros charm and purphoros and ash zealot. actually you get access to much better humans by splashing red instead of green if you wanna maximize your necromancer
i dont think necro is worth it with the low human count of that list
Necromancer probably doesn't make the cut if you want to run voice and voralz because you are now down to just 2 humans other than the necromancer himself. I don't think experiment one makes the cut either, but imposing sovereign should be considered. Reprisal is probably going to be bonkers in this style of deck as well as it is a very easy to cast instant speed removal spell. Could probably be a replacement for downfall.
The deck is an aggro deck with utility and synergy. So are there any one or two drops that have value? Otherwise I think you just play plenty of 2/1 for 1 mana creatures because they scavenge two power for one mana with voralz.

I'm not feeling Experiment One either. With Athreos, we want our creatures to either generate value when they die, or have enough value to encourage the opponent to take the 3 damage. Experiment One only fulfills the former, and only then with Xathrid Necromancer. Having recurring 1/1s with few ways to evolve them is not the kind of resiliency we should be looking for.

This is a major roadblock for the deck so far. Last season we had Young Wolf and Doomed Traveler as one drops that were fantastic creatures to sac (and the flying token off the traveler was exceptional). Unfortunately, we have a dearth of cheap creatures on par with those two, VoR aside. I like Soldier of the Pantheon, plenty of lifegain procs and the protection is not irrelevant(although makes scavenging awkward in some cases). Working with what we've got with the aim of a straight aggro deck, I think capitalizing on the power of Xathrid Necromancer is our best bet. That means as many 2/1 one drop humans as we can fit in.
For your list in particular Zomfshark, the 3 mana spot seems rather cluttered. Has that resulted in many clunky draws for you?

I like that Purphoros gives an etb trigger to anything they give back with Athreos. Red also gives us Tymaret, the Murder King. A pity he isn't human.
I was forgetting that Eperiment One was a human Ooze. My bad. Necromancer still doesn't seem very good when you should be playing all three Brimaz, Voralz, and Atheros. That is most likely 9? 3 drops? Not sure what the correct split would be but I cant imagine more than 3 of a legendary creature in a deck.

Aegis of the Gods might be really good in here as people are running a lot of Devour Flesh and he is pretty good against MBD. even if he just gets seized out that means a more important card didnt. also, he is another human so there is that. maybe he could replace voice? he seems to have a bit more utility since voice is pretty easily handled nowadays. also, i think the spell package could use some more utility instead of so much point removal. brave the elements would be great for swinging through and protection if athreos gets removed, especially since most of the creatures are white
edit, voice leaves another token to sac for aristocrat so thats a reason to keep it. also, what is this deck doing if aristocrat is removed or athreos gets Deicideed? i think the deck needs an additional win con, however obzedat might be good enough

Obzedat is a bit high on the curve for MB. As for Aegis of the Gods I don't know about him... he seems good for against MBD and burn and that's it really... against any other decks he's just a bad wearbear.
Voice is mandatory for he can get ridiculous with all of our guys on the field he also combos well with Athreos.
If Athreos does get Deicide'ed then oh well. We still have Xathrids as a reoccurring engine.
As for spells, we can't really make full use of Brave the Elements for not everything in the deck is white. We really don't care if our stuff dies for everything comes back as a zombie or gets recycled with Athreos.
the idea was to max out on enchantments for constellation triggers, SoS, etc. aristocrat can be a win con or just a sac outlet with athreos to generate value and reach, or just let herald ride another dude to victory. this config has a lot of big butts to hold off aggro, and provides a lot of incremental advantage (lifegain and drain, card drw, etc.) which is a nightmare for control. I'm considering Extinguish All Hope but with the Dictate of Erebos it might not be necessary. this build seems to have potential with the little testing ive done with it. suggestions?
edit; i didnt put lands in my list because im still tweaking the mana base. it might need Mana Confluence to ensure consistency....

If you are running green Varolz seems like decent tech...
Sac outlet... gives you a reason to have creatures in the GY if they hit and don't go back to hand...
Edit:
Also getting value out of creatures when they die is key.

I've allready went through the reason why Varolz didn't make the cut. Otherwise he'd be in here.
Because he doesn't fit your curve?
I feel like that warrants more testing then because he seems to be awesome for me.
Regenerate is a win because it either a)causes your opponents to waste more resources or b) saves your dude (obviously).
He's a sac outlet
Scavenge is underrated sometimes. Do something with the creatures that your opponent allows to hit the GY.
On that note...
The deck I posted needs some work obviously. Gods Willing is simply because so many people online are playing Decide. Devour flesh seems like it works in it. I'm not entirely sold on Brain Maggot...
Don't under estimate dark prophecy either

Not so much that he doesn't fit the curve, it is more of the fact that we already have nine 3 drops.
Brimaz is just good all around.
Xathrid makes our dudes into the undead after blocking or after a boardwipe
Athreos is what makes this deck tic.

Going bigger does allow the use of Obzedat, Ghost Council and green fatties such as Polukranos, World-Eater. Needs testing.
On a side note, do you think Dictate of Erebos could see any play in a more midrangey list?
I think voice and decay justifies the splash. I'll try replacing the fiendslayers for varolz.
I do have obzedats in the SB. Polukranos is more for midrange.
Dictate is too much for what it does.

E1, Soldiers, Cartels, and Xathrids are all humans.
Voice may as well be a human for it replaces its self well with a bigger body when it dies.
Downfalls can kill walkers, reprisal is a bit conditional. I could do a 2/2 split of Downfall/Reprisal.
