This deck started off as just a "i wanna play spellheart chimera" deck. turns out the chimera was usually one of the worst cards in the deck. However the interaction between flamewake phoenix and sarkhan, the dragonspeaker is nuts. combine that with some U/R counterburn and draw and it seems like a deck.
i replaced the chimeras with ashclouds to consistently turn on ferocious. Frost walkers also fill that role for now but they seem weak, trading with anything.
the synergy in this deck is insane. being able to pitch flamewake phoenix to tormenting voice and bring it back to swing the same turn is crazy. sarkhan being able to recur phoenix is crazy. all of the threats are so resilient to removal and i have countermagic and burn.
not sure what the sideboard should have outside of a few anger of the gods for token decks. Also if anyone has any ideas on something to improve the frost walker slot, that seems like a good spot to start making changes.
this deck is still very much a work in progress so any input is appreciated.

You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it put an evasive creature in its deck over a narrow hate card.

If a card isn't worth your opponent removing, it's not worth putting in your deck.
Im wondering if spellheart chimera doesnt deserve another test in the frost walker spot. It has flying and can be protected with the countermagic, whereas the walker just dies to the targeting even if i can counter it.

i think stormbreath would fit nicely in here, but i like my curve being lower. sarkhan basically is a better (IMO) stormbreath. I do hit almost every land drop i want to because of the draw power of voice, cruise and siege. so hes definitely worth a shot. I dont know what id cut for him.
also roast is fantastic! thanks for that suggestion
