The ? in the list is probably Kiora's Follower. It's a bonus combo. I guess the win is just tap down all their guys, attack, untap all your guys and pass the turn. Then tap them down again. With Polukranos, Bow, Nylea or Genesis Hydra, it's instant win.

I'm not a believer in "combo" decks for standard. They are usually far too clunky to be effective and worthwhile. This little "combo" is better because one card is a land, so it doesn't take up too much deck space like other 3 card combos. Adding in 1 Thassa's Ire would probably be just fine in any deck with Followers, and I would think the 4cmc instant tap ability alone is an acceptable rate especially when Nykthos is in the picture. Maybe it's too fancy, but it sure seems like there is enough potential there for some consideration.
What is it that you don't like? That it doesn't have evasion?
I especially like being able to play it as a 2/2 for 3. How many Black or Red fast-aggro games do you get stuck holding a 6cmc card that is literally dead weight in your hand. The fact that you can play this and have it trade for their Rabblemaster is invaluable. And then as well as being a great instant speed trick or a straight beater. You Probly can tell that I'm a fan.

So Right!
I had a game against mono red.
t1 -> mystic
t2 -> yisan, mi opponent used lightning strike on it (they are sooooo afraid of yisan)
t3 -> Morphed Sagu mauler, no response.
t4 -> Unmorphed sagu mauler!
2-3, but I like how the deck is working. Changes planned are replacing a forest with island and Nykthos with Mana Confluence, because of the number of double-blues. Other than that, I need to work out my sideboard plan better. I couldn't figure what to remove main to bring in side cards.

I've had pretty decent success with it over the past few weeks when testing with friends, though I still need to build a sideboard. So far, only auto-include in the board is 4x Mistcutter Hydra.
I saw this deck from lajube, gonna try it with some variations. I ran a 4X Yisan deck yesterday on FNM with no much success, being specially crushed by Abzan midrange. I want to try this out:

And, it's over. He lost a close game 1 vs UB control, and game 2 he kept a very weak opening hand of like Prophet, Reclamation Sage, lands, and still got close, but it was bad.

was he playing sagu mauler?? i didn´t saw the decklist!.
I don't know, but the opponent played the Obelisk that destroys everything. He also played the Aetherspouts and 6/7 flash guy. So, Sagu Mauler is only good, not winning on its own.

The UB Control build is running tons of removal, counterspells, 4 Perilous Vault, and Pearl Lake Ancient as their finisher. PLA was much tougher than I anticipated, because the UB pilots were able to keep the board very clean (devoid of chump blockers).
If that deck starts showing up around stores, you'll need to start carrying a lot more Reclamation Sages in your 75 - and Mistcutter Hydra or Terra Stomper will become relevant for this build.

I read something about a simic deck running 4 Perilous Vault and 4 Ætherspouts. Sagu mauler is lights out against some decks but trample isn't evasive like flying that's why I added 2 Prognostic Sphinx along with mauler. I may make a small splash for red at some point since my list is more aggro than most, I think I could benefit from it. I can't believe how much the price of Hornet Queen has risen since it's in a Intro deck and is not very easy to splash. I should have picked more of them up when they where .75 cents.
Hey guys, I was just wondering if anyone else has been having trouble with mono-red aggro decks. The ones that run mostly 1 drops and rabblemaster with titan's strength, and burn.
In what ways are you able to beat those decks? It is probably the match up that I have the most trouble with right now because they come up with more attackers than I have blockers, and I feel Aetherspouts is a little slow against them to be a reliable answer.
Also, I tried a list where I splashed white for Ajani, Mentor of Heroes, Banishing Light and Gods Willing with Erase and Suspension field in the sidebaord. I'm not sure if posting that list is suitable for this thread, but if anyone is interested I can post it.

Actually, the one that made Top 8 had Silence the Believers instead of the Vault and Prognostic Sphinx instead of PLA. So hexproof may still be a good call, but be prepared to fight with their hexproof, too.
Fetchlands make any color splashable for free (not counting money). Play 4 Caryatids and 4 fetches (either GR, GW, UW or UB), add one basic land, and you have 9 of that color available. Swap out Thornwood Falls for either a tri-land or Evolving Wilds and you have 13. I wouldn't go for double-cost spells, but possibilities are out there. Also UGB and UGR spells may be work a look. Again, I wouldn't try more than a splash, and I'd focus on the biggest impact cards that do something blue or green don't do very well.

Yeah basically I was splahing white for removal. I didnt want to go black because a lot of the good black removal has double black in the cost, so I thought it would be safer going for the banishing lights and suspension fields for more splashable removal (also trying erase in sideboard over unravel the aether for gods and jeskai ascendancy combo). Then I added the ajani to either dig for a bomb creature (or utility creature if you need one) or if I get Turn 3 horizon chimera into turn 4 ajani, the three counters on the chimera makes a pretty strong threat. Also Gods Willing essentially acts as either a 1 white mana counterspell for spot removal, or can help a big threat get around a blocker in a stalled board.
I ditched the nykthos that I was running to go up to 3 colours, but with my last build the nykthos never did a whole lot anyways so it didn't feel like a big loss to the deck since I was already pretty far from a green-devotion based build. Other cuts from main and sideboards included Kiora's Follower, Icefeather Aven, Thassa, Arbor Colossus, Ranger's Guile, and Reclamation Sage.
Here is the list I have now. It's not very tuned yet and I'm still constantly moving cards between main, side and being cut completely. I'm also still unsure what I want to have in the sideboard yet, so right now most of my sideboard is iffy.
If anyone has any suggestions on the deck in general or on how I would be able to make use of a white splash any better let me know.
I've been tinkering splashing white as well. White can add a few cards that seem powerful for GU: NyxFleece Ram for sideboard against aggro, Banishing Light for premium removal, and Lifegain via Ajani Steadfast. In my list that I've been tinkering with, I've got a couple interesting picks.
Icefeather Aven > Horizon Chimera. I want to love the 3/2 trampling flier with flash and Lifegain. Losing 1 power to lose 2cmc is totally worth it IMO. Especially when we consider this next card.
High Sentinels of Arashin is a card that is in a really good spot right now. It doesn't die to Lightning Strike, blocks Mantis Rider outright, has an absurd EOT pump ability, and is bonkers with any board + Ajani Mentor Of Heroes. IMO this is far better at 4cmc than the Chimera, and is an easy splash.
Soul Of Ravnica is a no-brainer here IMO. 7 mana to draw three is good, so is a 6/6 flyer for 6cmc, and having Prophet Of Kruphix in the deck as well is nearing cheating status.
Below are the new "decks to beat". They were designed to beat green devotion, and they succeeded, pulling away into the top 4 of the pro tour. The angle is to kill your stuff and play threats that green monsters can't easily deal with. How do we adapt?
