Josh Utter-Leyton's comments about playing the deck on the mothership coverage page (that he chose the deck because "I didn't want to play Magic: The Gathering this weekend") might be a bit telling here.
That said, it kinda makes me want to play it more that people are having this kind of response to it.
As do I. Pyroclasm would quickly find a spot in my UWr Flash deck, and would be a quick answer to all these shenanigans; however, I suppose Rolling Temblor might just have to do for now.
but do you really want to play against it -
Especially if everyone brings them to FNM
I dont.
I have a $50 deck, I brought it to FMN.
I got paired against Bant Enchant... and I crushed it... admittedly it wasn't the top tier verson of it.. but it was stalkers and silverblade palladin and wolfir silverhearts and he had an awful draw he drew no creatures game 1 and I killed them all game 2.
It flys over and beats through mid range and agro... but is easy enough to beat as control.
I worded that poorly/vaguely. Of course you can interact with Bant Enchant via the cards you mentioned, also it gets spanked by Ray of Revelation, Golgari Charm and Liliana of the Veil. I just feel like Bant Enchant needs more specialized answers to deal with thoroughly.
Pyroclasm and similar cards, even Bonfire, dont do a lot against the deck as creautres grow quickly once you enchant them. I had a 18/18 Geist last weekend. =) Edict effects, sweepers or enchantment hate seems better.
I hate this deck and love it at the same time. I've been messing with this sort of idea casually for a long time, but I never realized it could be this competitive. Personally I think the deck is more than just a good meta call.
The thing I hate about the deck is that it's positioned to warp the format. Pushing most reanimator and midrange out of the format, turning the diverse meta into a rock paper scissors of jund, verdict decks, this, and rdw. With jund and this being on top.

Big thanks to DarkNightCavalier from heroes of the planes studios for the sig!
Inconsistant? Maybe. But since it can get free wins so easily, multiple of this deck now finishing very well in tournaments. It is interesting that this deck is under the radar for that long and people dismissed this deck for a long time.
Well, I don't like to face this deck, as it all boils down to "if they draw more threats than you draw counterspells or sweepers or enchantment removals then you lose; otherwise then you win", due to the high variance of this deck. But it is another example of "any decks can perform well in this standard" due to the balanced nature of the format, so I LOVE this standard.
Been playing with it on Cockatrice. My match record currently is 10-1 with the following compositions:
2-0 vs. GW Aggro
2-0 vs. GW Aggro
2-1 vs. Esper tokens
2-0 vs. U/W Flash
2-0 vs. Mono red
2-1 vs. Naya Midrange
2-0 vs. U/R Aggro
1-2 vs. Mono black control
2-1 vs. G/B Zombies
2-0 vs. UWR Midrange
2-0 vs. Bant Control
The one loss was a weird match. The deck appeared to be a homebrew with Tribute to Hunger, Barter in Blood, and Mutilate. Basically having a sacrifice creature outlet is what wrecks this deck other than board wipe. Counters can't keep up with this and bounce spells are useless against hexproof.
It doesn't seem that strong to me, to be honest. It was a good meta call, because a lot of decks aren't playing the answers for it, but it gets hated out very easily.
Expect to see a lot more copies of Ray of Revelation in the coming weeks, as well as more instances of Geist of Saint Traft mainboard in decks that can play it but haven't been.
Btw the two dudes that made the finals got real punchable nerd faces, would have tested my patience playing those 2 with their obnoxious hex proof !
You sir deserve a prize!
But really, all these "answers"
they run tons of enchantments and pack their own sb with nevermore and negate rootborn etc.....
I agree its not the best deck but ive played against it. If it gets rolling turn 2 your going to lose unless you turn 4 a verdict or terminus.
and not everyone plays those. its such a quick cheap way to win!

There were quite a few other decks in the top 16 that were playing various enchantments. We actually saw Mark of the Vampire out there, for crying out loud.
If they get their dude tricked out and attacking by turn 3 you aint winnin
The deck also does absolutely nothing if you Ray their first few enchantments, and basically can't win once a better deck establishes board presence. It goes both ways.
I DO NOT want to play against this. Seems like if they have a great draw its GG
I see this deck getting pretty big.....

obv supreme verdict/terminus/board sweeps destroy it
ray of revelation is also a big game against it
Expect to see a lot more copies of Ray of Revelation in the coming weeks, as well as more instances of Geist of Saint Traft mainboard in decks that can play it but haven't been.

I'd expect to see Ray of Revelation anyway. Decks that can't play those will be playing Terminus and Supreme Verdict in spades.
