Scg providence chris got number 1 seed with pyrowhite but lost in top 8 1st game vs jund midrange O.O
I think this deck is relevant but could use a better tweak especially drop the chandras...she never does anything for me personally I don't think its a real card :/
I think burning earth/pithing needle deserves spots in the sb

Chris wasn't playing pyrored....he was playing WW splash red for boros charm. Brian got 9th place and was playing R/W rdw splashing white for boros charm, although he wasn't playing pyromancer.
Yeah, no one has really caught on to the PyroRed build we've been championing on DTR. Not a problem with me though. I like being under the radar while playing the best deck in Standard.
Just look at the GP. The semis are flooded with mono black and mono blue. PyroBoros is highly favored against mono black and even to slightly unfavorable against mono blue. Against the other tier one decks (mono red, Esper) PyroBoros is highly favored. Sounds like the best deck in Standard to me.
Note: The game which I do lose is not a bad MU at all (in fact its a great MU, I just happen to have a terrible draw - you can watch other games of the same MU in my channel to see my point)
Let me know if you enjoy this type of content :).

After seeing Blind Obedience in the 9th place list, I decided to give it a try. I actually rather like it vs Control. Any thoughts on which other match ups you would want to bring it in for?
For control? Blind Obedience is best against aggressive decks.
You can grind-out longs games with Blind Obedience vs control, it turns all your spells into 1 points of damage. I don't like it personally but its not horrible.

Blind Obedience ruins Obzedat and Aetherling. It makes Elspeth and Blood Baron have no immediate impact when they are trying to stabilize. It provides extra reach.
Don't laugh. It works.
I think it is also probably meant for the mirror / R/x. Not sure how it would be vs the midrange decks.
I don't hate it. It's been demonstrated as awful against red decks though. I really don't want to go through this again. It's even worse now as there are fewer haste creatures seeing play.
It's better against midrange / control when they're trying to rely on 1-2 blockers to lock you out; it's utterly crippling there and the extort is good vs. control.

Against BTE decks, I agree it's terrible. It matters more against the dragon builds.
I wish I just knew what to play. I'm tired of thinking about this. I wish we just had a finished 75 like the devotion decks. Then again, it could just be that I'm having a bad day.
zem, can't wait for the next article. I know there's a SCD thread for the card, but what's your opinion of Five-Alarm Fire in a R/x aggro deck as a 1 or 2 of for some extra reach?
I've been playing WW since the release of theros but I have almost been convinced to convert to a Rx variant. The deck seems straight up better and more fun to play.

I don't know.
I see where your coming from, we have so many different ways to take the 75 that its hard to tell which one is the correct one (esp. when you have rogue deck builders pushing things in random directions every single day).
Anyhow I'm in favor of the variant I posted in the DtR forums with Dragons or something like this to tackle the Bx and Ux meta game:

I'm not trying to force a Heroic theme. Pit Fight and Dragon Mantle allow you to take advantage of Heroic triggered cards without having to play too many combat tricks. Dragon Mantle also has the beneficial effect of playing very well with the first strike creatures, particularly Anax and Cymede.
A top-decked Anax and Cymede is a thing of beauty. I have seen that many people have tried to make it work by fitting it into a standard Aggro shell but A&C really shines when you can put it on the board after a Legion's Initiative or two. In a longer game I've managed to cast A&C with two Legion's Initiative and a Spear of Heliod on the board. 6/5 Vigilance First Strike is good value. It won't beat Angel of Serenity for pure power level but AoS also requires curving to 7 whereas A&C can help stabilize the board on turn 3.

Honestly, this looks like a mess. Might be fine if you draw exactly right, but your mana is way too inconsistent. You have a bunch of white one-drops, and you have Fiendslayer Paladin, so you want to favor white, but you have Ash Zealot which needs RR. This requires you to have at least one dual in the early game, but you have only four of those. You also have too many two-ofs, and a lot of cards I just wouldn't run in Standard.
Have you tested this against Mono-Blue Devotion and Mono-Black Devotion? Being able to beat those decks is really what matters right now.

Some of the best archetypes in any format don't have a set 75. I think what puts this deck above the rest is that it's so tuneable. We have a core set of cards we play and we adjust the numbers based on our local meta or playstyle. I love playing an archetype like that.
I know that "nobody has respect for me" here, but my deck and variants of it are doing very well at the larger tournaments. 5-1 at a standard event a few weeks ago, and swept FNM every time. If you're looking to splash white, I believe this would be the way to go:
G1: PyroWhite vs MonoBlue Devotion
G2: PyroWhite vs Red-Green Devotion
G3: PyroWhite vs Black Green Rock
G4: PyroWhite vs Black-Red Aggro
G5: PyroWhite vs MonoBlue Devotion
G6: PyroWhite vs MonoBlue Devotion
Final Score: 18th, the breakers killed me.
