Please include what kind of event it was, game/match results for every round, and the deck/play quality of your opponents. Also, it would be helpful if you could explain how you sideboarded for each match.
I'm tired and will fill in the information when I regain consciousness on sunday, but I piloted GW to 4-1 at SCG Indy before my cards got soaked by a stray water bottle. HJ denied me the use of proxies and I was forced to drop before he could DQ me as I couldn't salvage a quarter of my deck.
Round 1 I faced jund and took it in 3 games.
Round 2 I faced RDW and also finished him in 3 games. Should have been 2 but I had an overly loose keep g2
Round 3 I had the featured video match against AJ Sacher and didn't take a single point of damage the entire match. The video has, as a result of my drop, been removed from SCG's site. Truth be told his deck was a joke - it sat there and did nothing all match.
Round 4 I faced American control and ground out a hard 3-game win, thanks to ray of revelation and silverblade paladin.
Round 5 I faced frites and got steamrolled due to nevermore on rest in peace.
Round 6 I was told I couldn't play with a quarter of my deck missing and asked to leave the stage.

Round 1: Vs Uw Delver 2-0
Game 1: He got stuck with two lands, ended it with a doublestriing 6/6 silverblade paladin.
Game 2: Again, he got stuck with two lands, he had a set of unsummon in hand, 3 azorious charm and he delayed the game, i got down to 4 with a spectral flighted snapcaster mage but in the end he got overruned with the number of creatures i had.

Round 3:Vs Bant Enchantment Control 2-0
This deck was very very annoying.
Game 1: i dropped turn 2 loxodon, got bonds of faith, turn 3 silverblade, got defanged, turn 4 silverheart, got bonds of faith. then i landed a strangleroot soulbound to silverblade and 2 rancors. 2 hits and he died.

2nd Pod Fnm:
Round1: Vs GB Zombies. 2-0
Game 1: oh yeah been wating for this matchup. game 1 we dropped and dropped creatures. he didnt land a blood artist so i swung for GG on turn 9 with a surprising 8/6 doublestriking trample.
Game 2: All my boards came out, turn 1 pilgrim, turn 2 rancor knight, turn 3 silverblade rancor again, and that spelled disaster for him.

Game 2: turn 2 healer turn 3 silverblade turn 4 miracled revenge of the hunted killed him lol.
Game 3: I dropped turn 3 trostani, turn 4 healer and kept gaining 10 every turn since i had 3 resto angel in hand lol, he scooped when my life went to about 50.
Round 4: Junk Midrange 1-0
Game 1: this guy stalled the whole game. he was 3-0 and he came in 10 mins late. i overruned him game 1 then game 2 he didnt play anymore lol.
Saturday Magic:
Round 1: Mono black Something 2-0
Game 1: this guy is a new player and made a mono black deck which was all over the place, it didnt have mutilates nor nighthawk, he jst relied on a desecration demon which always got tapped since i have 4 dorks, killed him with a thragtusk w/ rancor.
Game 2: He signed in blood 4x in the game and practically gave me the win with a swinging centaur token with a soulbound from paladin.
Round 2: Rakdos Agro 2-0
Game 1: Idk why but he kept a very slow hand, he didnt drop anything till turn 4, he died due to a healer, token, rancors and restoration.
Game 2: thiss time he didnt drop anything until turn 4 again! he just slaughter games calling thragtusk and ended the game turn 5 lol.
Round 3: Golgari Self Mill 2-1
Game 1: Overruned him with a thalia, centaur token silverheart, he was out of tempo due to thalia,
Game 2: i misplayed here, the golgari guildmage sacrificed a tree of redemption, i had a charm in hand and charmed it but only to find out that it was 13 1/1 tokens and not a 13/13 token lol.
Game 3: i had to keep a 1 lander on a mull to 5 and i didnt get a land until turn 5 which was acidic slimed and that just ended the game and i scooped.
Round 4: Mono Green Agro 2-1
Game 1: i got revenged of the hunted miracles 3x and it practically removed all my creatures.
Game 2: My turn to revenge of the hunted. hard casted it and ended the game turn 5
Game 3: this game was so crazy, he has a 13/13 ooze and he casted revenge of the hunted. i was down to 1. he was down to 4, i tapped pilgrim for mana before blocking so he can be alive, i then top decked a selesnya charm to win lol.
Round 5: Bant Control 1-0
Game 1: a very long game 1 that i was able to salvage, he had not drawn into thragtusk or any of his healers, game 1 was about 30mins, my library was down to about 15 cards and i top decked the selesnya charm that i needed to trample my silverheart.
Game 2: It didnt end due to time. but if u gave it 2 more turns i woudve died.
Overall, this deck is very powerful, Silverblade paladin is an all star to this deck, centaur healer has a strong card vs agro, and an on curve combo with resto is always nice, I think we auto win vs zombies and have a hard time vs decks with lifelinks and mass removals like bant control.

Round 1 G/B Zombies - 2-0, 1-0 on the day
I think in this deck will stop existing soon. It has strong synergy, but it dies to any life gain. I mean any. He got flooded on game 2, but game 1 he got me to 8 before I gained the life back and game 2 he got me down to 9 before I went up to 27. This matchup is simply stabilize with life gain and take control of the board.
Round 2 Grixis Control - 2-0, 2-0 on the day
This deck surprised me to how good it was. It seems well positioned for a midrange/aggro format. Barter in Blood is a real card, and it seems very strong versus a midrange format. Game 1 I played dudes and swung. He never seemed to get off the ground on controlling the board. Game 2 he controlled the game a little better, got a tamiyo emblem off with 1 card in hand, but Armada Wurm swung through before he could draw a reliable answer.
Round 3 U/W Weenie - 2-0, 3-0 on the day.
This deck can have an aggressive opening. The scariest thing this deck can do to a midrange deck is Lyev Skynight, Geist of Saint Traft, and Sublime Archangel. But I ended game 1 with 42 life and game 2 with 39. Once you gain board position, the deck doesn't have too many ways of getting it back.
Round 4 G/W Humans - 2-0, 4-0 on the day
Game one he got me down to 3 before I won. Game 2 I controlled the board all around. Thragtusk into [card]Disciple of Bolas[card] is a blowout. A headache on the day was he ended up finished 10th on the day.
Round 5 Naya Midrange - 2-0, 5-0 on the day.
Back and forth game one, but I was able to get him through card advantage. Game 2 he mulled to 5 and didn't keep too strong of a hand even then.
Round 6 U/W/R Midrange - 0-2, 5-1 on the day.
For a feature match, we had a really odd game one. Unburial Rites targeted a Pilgrim on multiple occasions, and even a Detention Sphere grabbed one on occasion. Game 2 we had a close game but he got there. I made some choices in game 2 that looking back ended up costing me the game, but I still felt like I made the best choices for what I knew. If this matchup became common, I think I would get away from the mana dork ramp and lean more on farseek and keyrunes. Also, I would put a few copies of Cavern of Souls in the list to get through their Dissipate.
Round 7 U/W/R Midrange - 2-1, 6-1 on the day
Pretty much an identical list to what I played the previous round. Only difference was I got more normal hands and he got 1 weak hand.
Round 8 Jund Midrange - 0-2, 6-2 on the day
This deck is solid. Not unbeatable, but certainly solid. All of their removal is relevant, and you have to remove Oliva Voldaren before she gets out of hand.
Round 9 - R/B Zombies - 0-2, 6-3 on the day.
This is what I felt like was the biggest fluke of the day for me. Before this round, I didn't know how this deck beats me. I discovered the answer is triple Blood Artist while I struggle to find my 7th land for Sever the Bloodline flashback. Game 2 he got double artist out and he Bonfire of the Damned for 3 two turns in a row, wiping a lot of beasts and Thragtusk off of the field. Even after losing this round, this matchup still seems really in my favor.
Round 10 - G/W Humans - 2-1, 7-3 on the day.
Games 1 and 3 were fairly basic wins off of Thragtusk, resto angel, and armada wurm. Game 2 I kept a slow hand and he dropped Mayor of Avabruck turn 2. He flipped and beat me to death.
So 7-3 on the day, with a game record of 14-8 and a finish at 32nd. Overall, I still like the main deck. My sideboard needs some work. I also need to test more versus the Jund Midrange matchup. I also am thinking of getting away from the Arbor Elf/Avacyn Pilgrim mana package for a more consistent Farseek/Keyrune ramp package.
Round 1 Junk Tokens 2-1
Game 1 : I went out ball so hard T1 > Forest > Avacyn's Pilgrim T2 Sunpetal Grove > Farseek > Temple Garden, T3 Sigarda, Host of Herons, T4 Rancor > Rancor swing for 9, T5 opponent scoops
Game 2 I sideboard in 2 Sundering Growth for the obvious Oblivion Ring's that coming. at this point I am unaware of exactly what he is playing due to him not dropping anything game 1 except the Woodland Cemetery and Vault of the Archangel so wasn't for sure if he was playing tokens or trying to abuse Vault in a G/W deck. We actually had a good back and forth game with him finally getting Vault online and swinging the game to him after getting him to 7 twice.
Game 3 I am able to beat face with Rancored Centaur Healer and a bonded Silverblade Paladin by T5
Round 2 U/W Spirits/Control thing 2-0
Game 1 perty fast I get T2 Loxodon, T3 Rancor, Silverblade he gets no W by T4
I side in Sunderings
Game 2 fast again T2 Healer, T3 Rancor > Silverbalde GG
Round 3 G/W Humans (sans Silverbaldes ) 1-2
Game 1 We both go out pretty quick but she get her Champion of the Parish to 5/5 and I Selesnya's Charm it and get board back.
I side in Sunderings and Ajanin's trying to get the extra dbl strike option w/ some evasion.
Game 2 She goes out super fast and charms my Smiter that I rancored
Game 3 I get her to 3 but she stabilizes and then this is where I make a fatal math error and concede when I still had a chance to maybe stabilize and win in 2 turns first time playing competitively in 6 months due to living in the middle of nowhere for the summer (Glacier National Park )
Round 4 U/W Spirits 2-1
Game 1 I go fast again T2 Healer, T3 Rancor, Silverblade he has no answers
I side in Sunderings and Thalias and Silklash Spider
Game 2 He gets Flyers and anthems up quick I get no answers
Game 3 I go fast and get lots of life he gets no answers
Round 5 Jund 2-0
Game 1 I go fast again but he has some answers with Dreadbore but I have too many threats for his Hunmaster of the Fells
I side in Thalia
Game 2 goes relatively fast as He keeps a Bonfire of the Damned in his opening hand instead of mulling down and I proceed to beat face with Loxodon and Silverblade.
Round 6 Jund 2-0
Game 1 I come out a bit fast he gets down a Thundermaw Hellkite on T4 and then Rakdos's Return's me for 4, I have 5 cards in hand, I flash in my Restoration Angel putting me at 4 cards, one of them being a Loxodon Smiter I then top deck a Selesnya's Charm
I side in Thalia again
Game 2 I go out super fast he has no answers
Round 7 R/W/U Humans (he splashed red for a few burn spells) 0-2
Game 1 I go kinda fast but he Azorious Charm's my Loxodon on T3 and stalls me enough that he gets Sublime Archangel and Silverblade Paladin online
I side in Thalia and Sunderings (mistake as he was running no O-Rings or Spheres)
Game 2 Back and forth till he gets Sublime/Silverblade/GoST online T4 and oh I had to mull to 5 deck picked the wrong time to poop on me.
Round 8 G/B Zombies 2-1
Game 1 he goes out a bit faster as expected I stabilize and gain enough life to make a difference
I side in Rest in Peace
Game 2 he goes out EXTREMELY fast and uses Crippling Blight's to get through
I side in Sunderings this round after thinking I might be able to push through them in game 2
Game 3 He has me at 9 and hasn't taken any damage but I am stabilizing and and its about to get interesting when the judge who happens to be watching us notices that my opponent has a card on the floor that he must have dropped during shuffling and he gets a game loss for an illegal deck. As much as I hate to win a game this way, rules is rules. I am not for sure if it knocked him out of the money, I hope not.
All in all it was an extremely fun deck to play, fast with good late game reach with the life gain and some controls. Sideboard needs some tweaking and a few more tweaks to the MD. I am thinking of dropping down to 2-3 Thragtusk's and going to either 2 Sigarda, host of Herons or dropping in 1-2 Sublime Archangel.

match one i played against some odd selesnya deck that ramped into the 7 wurm. I won game 1 before he got his wincon out. game 2 i sideboarded foolishly thinking he was going for angel of serenity, armada wurm and the likes and i got caught off guard. Game 3 i sideboarded correctly and dealt with his wurm by zealous conscripting it for the win. Player quality was that of a casual timmy player.
Match two was against a mono red list that got 10th place last week at the scgopen and i won both games with a combination of lucky thragtusks and well timed huntmaster flips. Sideboard was thalia and centaur healers. Player quality was skillful but he messed up on the math to lose game 2
Match 3 was against Grixis control that i won 2-0. game one he got olivia out and i selesnya charmed it before he could take my armada wurm and he scooped. game 2 i boarded in o-rings and another charm and he got land flooded. He was apathetic due to a bad evening(i was playing down) and just wanted to go home.
Match 4 we ID'd so we could eat some pizza
top 8 match was against mono red guy and it went down the same and we split top 4.

Do you think you need the mana dorks? I'm running a similar list except with no dorks and no rancor, + 4 Strangleroot Geist, and 4 each of farseek and abrupt decay.
I just got back into magic with the advent of AVR, but didn't want to get into standard until after rotation. This was my first non-limited tournament since.....tempest. Tradewind Riders anyone??
Standard 4-RND daily event. Went 3-0 and split the finals.
Match 1 vs BR zombies
m1g1 - I got off to a slow start, we both got mana screwed (them stuck at 1, me stuck at 2 then 3), which means they're better off. They beat with rakdos cacklers and diregraf. I eventually stablized with a mix of wolfir avenger, paladin, and loxodon smiter, but was low enough that an undying geralf's and brimstone hit me for lethal. Loss
SB: in centaur healer and some thalias, drop revenge and garruks.
m1g2 - Got off to a screaming start with t2 avenger, t3 paladin, keeping avenger in hand and double faith's shield to protect from DD. They played little else than diregraf and rakdos cacklers. Won
m1g3 - They got a gravecrawler out late, with rakdos cackler and 3 blood artists early. I was able to throw bodys to prevent the attacks until I found bigger threats. Sever in Blood saved me this game by exiling all the blood artists, as I was around 7 by the time they all died (and they kept their life at ~20 the whole game). Eventually was able to put sublime in play paired with paladin, that was game. Won
Match 2 vs Jund Midrange
This deck scared me the most once I saw Olivia, but I'm not sure if they got bad draws, or what. During the games themselves I always felt in control
m2g1 - No early game either side, I kept a mid/late game hand with no dorks. They threw underworld connections and may have had some mana flood. They elected to block with olivia early on to prevent bringing them close to dead, saccing wolfir avenger in the process. Threw another down, paired with paladin the turn after. Got rancor on the 2nd avenger, and used faith's shield to prevent blocks for lethal. Won
SB: unfortunately I don't remember the specifics, but I think it was 1 angel of jubilation and oblvions rings, probably took out garruk and the healer.
m2g2 - They didn't do much early, got a screaming start with paladin, it appeared they didn't have any removal, was a short game. Won
Match 3 vs G/W/B...control?
While they had good cards, this deck lacked direction, or I never saw their kill cards (maybe angel of serenity?). They also misused their removal. A lot of times he would use remove on my dorks, but only 1-2 turns after they were on the board (at one point on turn 4 of a game he abrupt decayed x2 to kill a dork and an avenger). Probably should have used it a turn earlier if they were going to get the mana dude.
m3g1 - I couldn't get out of the gate fast enough, then were able to stablize. Double terminus (1 miracled) were able to hold me off early. They got a sorin out early, which I was forced to beatdown with a rancored dork. 3rd terminus. They used garruk PH to build their board back up. I cast my own garruk to kill theirs, but then thragtusk came down with a stack of souls. I was playing topdeck and couldn't deal with it. Loss
SB: Put in the thalia's, took out revenge and the centaur healer I think.
m3g2 - I got off to a screaming start, they couldn't hold me off enough despite lingering souls chumps. Sublime flew over for victory. Won
m3g3 - they mulled to 5, and saw 2 lands for 5-6 turns. I got off to a medium start. Kept a caluclated risky 5 land + dork + rancor. Ended up being the right choice, was able to pick away until the bigger stuff came into play. They threw down a knight of infamy, but they weren't able to attack through my board efficently (rancored dork on my end). Threw down a garruks to immidiately draw 3 and die which gave me serious card advantage. They got double centaur healer out to delay my beatings, but couldn't apply enough pressure to keep me on my toes, I stayed back until I drew stuff. They got trostani late (taking 2 shockland damage to bring them to 1), but a faith's shield ran a dork with rancor, paired with paladin, for lethal. Won
Match 4 vs Red Sligh. As mentioned above we split, but played the games after
I ended up losing 1-2, but I think had we played the hands I conceded I would have won. My 1st hand was near perfect and they were on the draw. That's pre-sideboard, and after that I imagine I would have taken at least another one. I felt like this was a good matchup in my favor.
m1g1 - They got off to great start, I kept risky hand that had potential but was weak to removal. They burned everything of mine to death, they overran. Loss
SB: I forget, stopped taking notes at this point. Probably put in healers, thalias, and extra shield, took out revenge, garruks, and severs.
m1g2 - They were somewhat mana screwed, but my board overpowered theirs early, so I kept the early assault at bay, they conceded after centaur healer dropped. Won
m1g3 - mull to bad 6, they had a stack of burn and stromkirk noble. I couldn't throw anything in the way, as anything that touched the board was burned and I didn't draw the lands to put the big stuff down. I was able to eventually sever the noble, but was around 5-7 then, and 3 straight burn spells killed me. Loss
What I learned: burn kills the deck. While our attacks are for huge chunks, silverheart is the only thing that's really out of direct damage range, and there's enough of it running around to give us trouble. The last game of match 4 is probably the best indication of this, where all they needed was 1 creature to take me down. We don't run a lot of removal, so one they get stuff down we have to throw something in it's way.
I love that we're a balance of aggro/midrange. We act like aggro yet are able to hit like a truck. Once the balance swings in our favor we're able to bring them down fast.
Do you think you need the mana dorks? I'm running a similar list except with no dorks and no rancor, + 4 Strangleroot Geist, and 4 each of farseek and abrupt decay.
I'm probably working on cutting the mana dorks honestly. I enjoyed how explosive they were, but it adds a huge amount of inconsistency. My tweaking right now is going in the direction of 4 farseek, 2-3 keyrunes, 24-25 land, and moving sever the bloodline to the board and putting Terminus in the main deck.
Where last week I got to plow through some expected decks: UWr Control, UR Delver, BR Zombies, Junk Frites; this week was time to take on some more interesting decks: 5 Colour Control, RUG Midrange, Junk Tokens, Grixis Control.
Round 1: 5 Colour Control
Not a ton to say about this matchup. I won the first match without seeing any more than a Keyrune and Detention Sphere. Drawing 8 cards of Silverheart and Garruk sealed it. Game 2 was a bit more of a game but Garruk got me there again. Drawing off Sublime.
1-0 (2-0)
Round 2: RUG Midrange
Now this deck was more interesting. It was the store owner. He always comes with interesting ideas that usually just need a bit of tweaking. This one I realized very quickly could be my undoing. I win the roll and play dork which is on the receiving end of his T1 Pillar. Ok T2 play another dork. He plays that 1/1 Soulbond deathtoucher ok. I miss my land drop but manage to play Smiter. He plays the flash pinger and pairs. The fact that he lands Tamiyo before I see my 3rd land doesn't matter. It's Sparkmage-Collar. How the hell am I ever going to beat that? Seriously. I side in all Garruks and Sigarda. And luckily after some early Rancor battling as he gets the deadly duo again, I land Sigarda and win. Game 3 I keep this hand: Sever, Sigarda, Lil Garruk, Big Garruk, 3 lands with all my colors. I'd never keep that usually but I figure here it's fine I draw into a T3 Silverblade I use as bait. Sure enough he has the deadly duo again. I manage to get Relentless down before its burned out. He kills my Primal Hunter with his Relentless. I Sever double Huntmaster of the fells. He doesn't manage to get his 2nd red to play Hellkite before Silverblade Sigarda takes over. Hellkite plus the deathtoucher is an out to Sigarda. The deck concept was interesting though. I remember Sparkmage Collar and how hard I relied on a different Angel(Linvala). That combination is like kryptonite against us.
2-0 (4-1)
Round 3: Junk Tokens
This is the guy I faced in the finals last week and he's updated the list he'd played the week before that at States. He opted for less Thragtusk and more removal sideboard. Game one goes surprisingly long for one of those Silverheart swing for 17 double striking Trample(34 Trample damage) games. He's at 18 at the time and had knocked me down to 9. I drew 8 cards off Harmonize Garruk(no point trying to stick with souls) looking for the Rancor but Selesnya Charm and the 2nd Sublime did it after he Severed the first. Game 2 I mull to this 5 card hand: Temple Garden, Gavony, Arbor Elf, Smiter, Ray of Revelation. Draw Forest play Elf. He plays Call of the Conclave. I draw Silverblade play Temple Garden and Smiter and comment mine is bigger than his. He plays Intangible Virtue and says not anymore and swings in. I Miracle Revenge on Smiter, play Gavony and pair with Silverblade swinging for 20 Trample Damage T3 on a mull to 5. He plays Lingering Souls, I top deck Rancor. Yeah that doesn't always happen sometimes you are lucky. Games like that make me want to rethink Revenge. I only played it cause they were sold out of Increasing Savagery.
3-0 (6-1)
Round 4: Grixis Control
Nothing fancy here. Just removal and planeswalkers. He couldn't keep in front of my threats. Double Rancor on every last creature I have just gets me there game 1. Game 2 I force him to throw all his cards at my threats and back to back Garruks which he deals with leave him unable to deal with the Tokens that get there with Gavony. The deck needs more 2 for 1's I guess. He's been really trying to get a UR deck to work in this format but it's tough. I honestly don't know how to build UR as that combination is the farthest from my deck building inclination.
4-0 (8-1)
Anyway another successful week. I think I want to cut that Abrupt Decay main for something from the board to find room for the 2nd Revenge. Other than that decks been sweet.
Match 1
g1: against GW 'midrange' aggro, was unable to stabalize after a double striking angel hit me for tons
g2: i sided in centaur healers, oblivion rings, sided out pillar of flame and rancors. I got hit again for 12 on turn 4 by an angry loxodon smiter. however turn 5 i dropped an armada wurm with trostani out to regain it easily. Managed to stabalize and take control with wurms and thrag
g3: she had bad draws and didn't play many creatures.
match 2
g1: Played against bant control, i drew into 2 creatures thragtusk and borderland ranger and was unable to do anything against angel of serenity.
g2: sideboarded in zealous conscripts, oblivion ring, sundering growth, thalia, out pilar of flame, bonfire of the damned and some other stuff. I lost due to lack of land draw past 4.
Match 3
g1: bant aggro i lost against wolfirsilverheart being -2'd by ajani
g2: sided in healer, oring out rancor and wolfrun, we both mulled to five and i drew great and he did not.
g3: i won without much effort.
match 4
g1: gw aggro, won first game by forcing him to make bad blocks with selesnya charm.
g2: sided in healer, oring. i flickered armada wurm 3 times in the match keeping it from being exiled by fiend hunter which clinched the win.
match 5(top 8)
g1: Frites, he saw 1 centaur healer and 1 thragtusk and no discard spells.
g2: i sideboard in conscripts, oring, rest in peace. Opener had rest in peace and t2 he plays looting and pitches angel and unburial rites, i follow with the RIP and lay down the smack down with a borderland ranger and an avacyn's pilgrim and wolfrun.
R1: Young kid with a bunch of commons. Bonded two Silverhearts together game 1, and Silverheart+Silverblade the second.
R2: Epic Experiment.dec. I was faster than he was.
R3: GWB Midrange. Very similar to my list, but he was running more control. Won game 3 on the back of Sigarda + Yeva shenanigans. Need to get more of that guy
R4: Jund midrange. One of my friends, we play against each other a lot, so we knew what the other guy was running. Ended up winning G3 on the back of Sigarda again
R5: Jund Midrange. A more removal-heavy version of my buddy's deck. Mulled to 5 G1 and lost, he did the same G2 and I won. G3 I drew more threats, stuck them earlier, and landed Collective Blessing on T6 to swing for lethal.
Match 1: against BR vampires
game 1: (on the draw) a newer casual player, he played a tiriade of vampires regardless of their value/power. i won when i landed thragtusk -> armada wurm
game 2: (on the draw) classic aggro sideboard, sided out rancors and wolfrun. he mulled to 4 and i curved out perfectly.
Match 2: Bant Control
game 1: (on the draw) i managed to get him to 4 life then he miracles an entreat to win it.
game 2: (on the play) he draws angel to exile my thragtusk, wurm, and token. i exile it EoT. otherwise a fine game for me.
game 3: (on the draw) we got to 5 minutes left and both fast played. turns were called and i was active player and i won it on turn 3 with 2x resto angel on his turn into 3 rancors after he miracles a terminus twice...
match 3: Jund something or other
game 1: (on the play) i see gravecrawler, lotleth troll and vampire nighthawk, so i think he's doing some aggro variant, i win with some of my favorite thragtusks
game 2: (on the draw) i sideboard my anti aggro things. turn 4 he drops olivia, i dont draw a charm to deal with her and lose shortly after.
game 3: (on the play) side out the aggro things, side in my midrange dealings and answer his threats with 2 armada wurms that somehow dont get severed.
match 4: Play for the mat | U/W Control
game 1: (on the play)thinking he was playing bant i wasn't worried about counters and walked into 2 of them and drew no more threats and lost to an 11/4 restoration angel.
game 2: (play) sided in oring, sundering growth, charm, and sigarda. He kept a sketchy hand of 2 plains and a moorland haunt. I win with 42 life to spare.
game 3: (draw) he got stuck at 3 lands and i was beating him to death with an avacyn's pilgrim that had a rancor on its back until he tapped out for a resto angel to block then i went on to resolve a thragtusk then armada wurm that i flickered when he tried to azorious charm it.
A story, a scumbag story, a deck, and a Game Day victory
The story:
So, I played the hell out of Frites from February through about July. The deck treated me really well until AVR came out, after which the deck promptly crapped all over me. I switched to Naya Pod and found my winning ways returned.
When RTR came out, I knew that Reanimator would be a force to be reckoned with, and was ready to play the deck. I played with Junk reanimator, then 4 colour, and was ready to play the deck at Game Day on Saturday
Until I walked in the door
It was Halloween day at my LGS and they pushed Game Day off to Sunday. Slightly disappointed, I left knowing an opportunity had presented itself.
I knew that Naya would still be strong, and I was already familiar with the deck since it lost little and I had played a lot of it up to rotation. However, I really wanted to play Bant, solely because Geist of Saint Traft is such a strong card ATM. I couldn't make up my mind, if I wanted to play Conscripts and Bonfire or Geists, until one night I realized that I could just play them both and play 4 Colour Good Stuff! I didn't have the time to build it during the week, what with work and all, but an extra day before Game Day allowed me to do just such a thing. So I built this:
Round 1 - VAN HUYSE, MIKE- GW Aggro
G1 - Notes are a little vague, but I think he double Rancored a Loxodon Smiter, which got Selesnya Charm'd. Geist did a lot of the heavy lifting in this match
SB : -2 Azorious Charm, +1 Mizzium Mortars +1 Cyclonic Rift
G2 - Again, notes are a little vague He managed to get me down to 3 life before I stabilized with a Thragtusk. Bonfire cleared the way and I went 1-0
1-0 (2-0)
Round 2 - Zucchiatti, Mike - Jund
G1 - This one went back and forth. He managed to land a Thragtusk and followed it up with Huntmaster. I did hit an Entreat the Angels for six, but he had a Sever the Bloodline in hand and that was game.
SB: -1 Geist of Saint Traft, -2 Detention Sphere, +3 Centaur Healer
G2 - Again, Geist of Saint Traft did the heavy lifting. I got beat down by a Rakdos Keyrune for a bit, but Geist took his life total from 20 to 14 to 8 to 4, and Bonfire took care of the balance
G3 - So this went back and forth. Lots of damage done to me by a Deathrite Shaman. Thragtusk and Huntmaster managed to keep him alive but not long enough to deal with the offense
2-0 (4-1)
Round 3 - Mavrak, Rob - Rakdos Zombies
G1 - A quick Gravecrawler and a couple of Bump in the Night brought me down to 8, but Restoration Angel went a long way for the win
SB : -2 Azorious Charm, -2 Selesyna Charm, +3 Centaur Healer, +1 Mizzium Mortars
G2 - This was over quick. 2 Gravecrawlers, 2 Aristocrats, and we moved to game 3
G3 - Again, the Gravecrawler/Bump in the Night start. However, Thragtusk blinked by 2 Restoration Angels turned the tide quickly. Angels flew over Zombies for the win
3-0 (6-2)
Round 4 - Name Withheld - Bant Control
I won't get into the details because both games were long and boring, but I lost in two. Both games were really about Thragtusk shenanigans and who could deal with the others threats faster. Nathan did it better than I could, mostly due to Jace.
SB : -2 of each Charm, +4 Izzet Charm
3-1 (6-4)
Round 5 - Name Withheld - Jund
G1 - Got the Rakdos Keyrune and Vampire Nighthawk beatdown. Landed a couple of Thragtusks, but there's only so much they can do. Had a bunch of Angels exiled, so moved to game 2
SB : -2 Azorious Charm, +1 Mizzium Mortars, +1 Cyclonic Rift
(As a side note, I sideboarded differently since this looked like a different Jund build than the one in round 2. No Lilianas, more aggro, so I wanted a little more removal.)
G2 - Huntmaster -> Restoration Angel -> Restoration Angel -> Thagtusk -> Game
G3 - So this one went back and forth, we both got flooded at one point, but as the game progressed I just drew bomb after bomb after bomb. His Keyrune did a ton of work as I couldn't deal with it. Eventually I hit an Angel of Serenity, which got killed, only to cast another, followed by a Bonfire for the game
4-1 (8-5)
So, with a record of 4-1, I ended up winning Game Day. How did that happen? Let me tell my "scumbag" story.
Now, I say "scumbag" because, I don't really care about it. However, there were a few people in the store who got their knickers in a knot over this and felt that I was wronged (and I can see their point)
So, my round 4 opponent apparently showed up 30 minutes late for round one. Instead of getting a game loss, he was given a bye. The guy who runs the store realized later the mistake, but the damage was already done.
So my round 4 opponent handily beat me in 2 games. There were two 4-0s at that point, him and the guy I played in round 5. My round 4 opponent turned to the other 4-0 and said "Hey, I've got to leave, I'll just concede to you".
Now, I was blissfully unaware of what happened in round one, so none of this seemed off to me. But when my round 5 opponent explained what happened in round 1, I was a little ticked off to start round 5. TECHNICALLY, my round 4 opponent should not have been 3-0 so I shouldn't have been playing him. Secondly, and this is what seemed to get a few people ticked off, if he had no intention to finish the tournament, why potentially dream crush me and not concede to me?
Anyways, at the end of the day, it didn't matter as I won round 5 and won RTR Game Day. I'll definitely be rocking the playmat at the next tournament.

not a report for myself but just saw SCG New Orleans Top 16 list and felt quite sad that GW Aggro / Midrange didn't make it. Good for GW Humans as 2 are in the list and 1 won the whole thing.
This is frankly just being ignorant. People dont complain that expensive things exist, they get annoyed when there are no alternatives to the expensive versions of cards.
Its a card game. People want to play the card game. They arent mad that certain pieces of cardboard are rare and collectable. They get upset when there arent alternative printings that allow them to play the game.
I got a kind of paltry report. Didn't really take great notes, and I made a few dumb mistakes here and there. Basically, took G/W to the local Standard event and went 2-1-1. I hadn't played Standard in a little over a month.
Match 1 was a mirror match, and it was pretty dull. Game one he plays like ten Thragtusk but I'm able to beat on through with Silverblade Paladin and friends. Game two I'm too dumb/lazy to call the judge and end up losing because of it (embarrassing). Game three is just tons of life gain back and forth and we end up drawing. The main thing about this match that I learned is that Revenge of the Hunted does serious work.
Match 2 was against some sort of Esper Tokens/Control, though I never saw a single Planeswalker hit the field. Game one I get a lot of early damage with a Silverblade Paladin that's bound to a Avacyn's Pilgrim. He tried to stabilize with Supreme Verdict and Lingering Souls, but I later got a Thragtusk in there and it proved too strong. Game two we board and I get a hand that's five lands, a Thalia, Guardian of Thraben, and a Dryad Militant. I'm on the draw so I keep, figuring that a couple of hate-bears and some lands will be enough. The Militant neuters him pretty hard, I draw into some power after he wipes the field, and a second Militant later keeps him down.
Match 3 I played a very aggressive Jund deck. No Thragtusks, just pure pain. Game one I build up my Garruk, Primal Hunter to ultimate range and he top decks Zealous Conscripts. Game two I get stuck on lands and catch a beating.
Match 4 I'm against Jund Zombies/Scavenge. Game one I live the dream. Early game we're just trading creatures and damage. Later on I get a Garruk out and he makes a beast. Next turn I hit my sixth mana, hardcast Revenge of the Hunted on the token, and -2 for nine drawn cards. I win that game. Game two I win with a Silverblade Paladin that bonds with a Restoration Angel with two Rancor.
I liked how the deck plays, but I'm not too keen on a few things. Selesnya Charm didn't do the work I wanted it to, as I only used it to exile a creature once. Also don't know how I feel about Thalia in the main. She was great against that Esper deck, but otherwise she didn't do much. Not sure how I'd make room for her in the side.
Revenge of the Hunted is pretty amazing though, but I probably need that in the sideboard as well. It really cracks up stalemates with easy, especially on a double-striker.
My 1-of Garruk was pretty solid throughout though (so solid that he killed me once). I want another Wolfir Silverheart in the main so that I can have more ways to get cute with the -2.
Took this spicy deck to a 3 round swiss standard event on wednesday night. Went 2-1, but the loss was really close. I apologise in advance for any inconsistencies as I based this entirely off memory.
G1: Well, my opponent basically lands an Olivia Voldaren and I never saw my Fiend Hunter or Oblivion Ring, nor did I miracle an Entreat to turn the game around. She steals my Trostani, Restoration Angel, and Armada Wurm after I have beaten my opponent down to 5 life, while becoming 10/10. There was one awkward instance as he tries to steal my Trostani after pinging her for one at EoT, but I had "reset" her creature-type with restoration angel so I had to explain that he could not just steal Trostani. All the same that only slowed him down a turn. My opponent also had a Sever the Bloodline when I had two wurm tokens in play. I had a whole buncha life thanks to Trostani, but my opponent fell'd me all the same after I drew lands for four straight turns.
Sideboarding: +2 Plummet, +2 Sigarda, -1 Entreat, -1 Thragtusk, -1 Garruk, -1 Centaur Healer. Basically diversifying my threats in case of Slaughter Games.
G2: I curve out with Pilgrim > Farseek > Sigarda while my opponent stays on two lands. He Dreadbores my Pilgrim while he was at 6 life and I dropped a Restoration at EoT to finish him off on my turn.
G3: I mull to 5 and keep 3 lands, a Pilgrim and an Entreat. He dropped Olivia, I cast Plummet on her (yeah!). He played Huntmaster, and I drew... an Armada Wurm! He Slaughter Games'd my Sigardas while my Wurms beat him down to 1 life. He managed to kill one wurm through blocking with a wolf token and a rakdos keyrune. I Garruk'd and drew 5 cards off my wurms, hoping to close the game, but it was a crap draw of 2 lands a Trostani and 2 Pilgrims. He Sever'd my last wurm, and I knew I had to deal that one last damage, so I played my Trostani and the two pilgrims, making it Trostani + 3 Pilgrims on my board and a lone Huntmaster + a Keyrune on his board. And then came the turning point. At one life, he miracle'd a Bornfire of the Damned for 6. Brought me down to 10. He swung with huntmaster, I am at 8. I drew a land and dropped a restoration on my turn so he won't flip. He Sever'd the angel and huntmaster dropped me to 6. He casts Rakdos Returns for 5 damage, I drew a land and realises his keyrune would kill me next turn.
Match 2: Vs Junk tokens
G1: I went pilgrim land land land land Armada Wurm, all the while my opponent dropped 2 dorks, an Intangible Virtue, a Sigarda, a Sorin. Sorin's Emblem in combination with his Gavony Township closed the game pretty quickly.
Sideboarding: +2 Sigarda, +1 Sundering Growth, +1 Rest in Peace, -1 Garruk, -1 Wurm, -2 Centaur Healer. The Centaurs might sound nice, but they don't do much against the insane damage output tokens are able to produce. They don't make very good blockers against anthem'd stuff too.
G2: Again, the superb curve of Elf > Farseek > Sigarda for me. This time I followed on turn 4 with an Armada Wurm. My opponent played 2 Lingering Souls with flashback, but they were nothing compared to the rampaging angel and wurms.
G3: I mulled my no-land hand into... 4 lands and 2 Thragtusks. Opted to keep as this deck doesn't really mull all that well. My opponent starts off aggressively with 2 dorks, a selesnya charm knight, and a rancor on the knight! He also landed a Sorin on t4, making an emblem and swinging for a bunch. I drew lands all the way and my first play was a turn 5 Thragtusk. Then a turn 6 restoration angel which I drew, who conveniently killed off Sorin. Then a turn 7 Thragtusk. When I drew an Armada Wurm and my opponent failed to draw anything spectacular the game was over.
G2: He had a pretty good start, leading with War Falcon, into Thalia, into Geist of Saint Traft. All I did was play an elf followed by a turn 3 Trostani. He Fiend Hunter'd my Trostani and brought me down to 8. I O-ringed the Fiend Hunter, used Trostani to block the geist and the elf to block Thalia and went down to 2. I played Thragtusk, going up to 10. Then I played Armada Wurm, going up to 20. Then I miracle'd an Entreat the Angels, going up to a lot of life. My opponent had a Sublime Archangel out by that time and was dealing quite a bit of damage with Thalia as I did not want to lose any of my creatures, but the Entreat just straight up ended the game.
Came in Third tonight, with this. Only dropped a match to mono-B Control with Griselbrand finisher. Won G1, then never saw a Selesnya Charm all game 2, and the removal I brought in at G2 never appeared in either of 2 or 3

But, I did manage to trade for my third Sigarda, so hopefully tomorrow night will be a repeat of last week.
Sigarda is amazing... But three MD is really rough. She never dies.

IIW for any CCC (pick the highest one in the list):
A high-costed equipment (I want it big, but make sure it isn't nutso-broken with Stoneforge. So a high equip cost or a benefit for casting or something)
A Squirrel Wizard
A G?? (1-3 colors, including green) legendary creature with its main strat based on not attacking
Round 1 UWr Control 2-0
I won the dice and T1 dork, T2 Smiter with T3 Rancor was too much to him.. he got one Detention Sphere online but he had to choose between rancored Smiter and Archangel.
In game two opponent was able to deal with my early manadorks with red removal. Smiter and Garruk were removed by Detention Spheres but another Garruk and Thragtusk did put too much pressure and he was unable to stabilaze. Didn't see a single sweeper in the whole game.
-1 Armada Wurm
-4 Selesnya Charm
-2 Revenge of the Hunted
-1 Sigarda, Host of Herons
..saw one copy of Unsummon in the game 1 and decided to side Revenges out.
Round 2 Junk reanimator/frites 2-1
Lost a dice and opponent had kinda lazy start with Mulches into two Angels of Serenity but zero Unburial Rites, I also mulled down to five cards. Soulbonded Paladin and Restoration Angel sealed the game 1.
In game two opponent resolved turn 4 and 5 Thragtusks and animated other one three times and it was too hard to me to recover.
Game three we both mulled down to six and I had slow start with two Sunpetal Groves, Arbor Elf and Pilgrim. Junk player got two Unburial Rites from his Mulch but no creatures showed up. I top decked Temple Garden and resolved a Sublime Archangel. Couple of swings + Smiter pushed my opponent out from the game.
SB
+ 2 Rest in Peace
- 1 Armada Wurm
- 1 Sigarda, Host of Herons
Rest in Peace wasn't so great because high amount of Ray of Revelations + Adrupt Decays. I played one in game two to remove one of his Unburial Rites but he had two more of them in his hand and he used Ray to my RiP dot.
Round 3 UWrg Midrange 2-0
Deck was piloted by the owner of my LGS. He won the dice and curved well in both of the games having acces to all of his colours.
In game one he resolved one Searing Spear, one Dungeon Geist (tapping my rancored Arbor Elf) and one Jace, Architect of Thought. Double striking Paladin/Smiter was too much to him and he didn't draw anything relevant after I smashed his Jace down.
In game two my turn two Thalia faced Syncopate. Turn three I resolved Sublime Archangel and opponent played Thragtusk and went up to 25 life. In turn four I top decked Paladin, soulbonded it with Angel, played double Rancor and swinged for 22 dmg. Opponent didn't top deck anything and that was the game.
SB
+3 Thalia, Guardian of Thraben
+1 Restoration Angel
-1 Sublime Archangel
-1 Revenge of the Hunted
-1 Armada Wurm
-1 Sigarda, Host of Herons
I really should not sideboard Archangels out ever...
Round 4 BG Zombies 2-0
I won the dice but mulliganed down to five cards (Arbor Elf, Forest, Plains and two Restoration Angels). I top decked Smiter and a land and surprised blocked turn three with flashed Angel and blinked Smiter. One more Angel eot and rancor was enough to seal my opponent out.
In game to I kept a slow hand with two lands, Pilgrim, double Thragtusk and double Sublime Angel. My opponent had fast start with turn one 2/2 zombie and turn two Geist followed by turn three geist which I chump blocked with Knight from Selesnya Charm. He did attack me down to seven (with seven power on the table) and I played Thragtusk followed by another Thragtusk. Couple of turns after I had double Sublime Archangel in the battlefield and he was unable to attack against my Thragtusks. Two attacks by a single Angel brought me a victory.
SB
-nothing
Overall image of the deck is good. I had super aggressive starts and Thragtusks kept other aggro/midrange decks in check. I dont miss Wolfir Silverheart at all because Thragtusk just brings so much more utility and is a beast to cast into a swept board.
Intrepid Hero in SB was meant to mirror matched but I didn't meet any and it felt too slow and unstable against Frites.
Yeah this was a really scary deck. If you don't think it's viable try playing against a 25/25 invisible stalker.
G1: Guy grows his t2 stalker with 2 ethereal armor and abundant growth. I got my game plan going with farseek into trostani into thragtusk into restoration into wurm. Had over 30 life and he managed to enchant his stalker with 4 armors, making it 25/25 but it wasn't lethal. He dies to my wurm attacks.
G2: I got my sideboarded miser's copy of rhox faithmender and his invisible stalker with 2x spectral flight couldn't race my thrags and centaur healers.
Match 2: Vs. UWR Tempo
G1: Trostani and 2x Thragtusks make his lyev skyknight and resotration angel seem petty.
G2: After baiting my opponent to tap out for an azorius charm with a restoratn angel attack, I cast Sigarda, Host of Herons and he has no way to deal with it.
Match 3: Vs. Boros Humans
This is my friend, and he has been having good success with his boros human deck.
G1: He gets the nuts curve, but I draw into 3 Thragtusks and win.
G2: He gets the nuts curve, I was a little slow and dies. Memory is kinda fuzzy on this match.
G3: Mulled to 5 and got stuck at 4 lands after having to farseek twice. When I am down to 2 life with 2 Thragtusks in my hand with a Trostani on board, I topdecked a temple garden and was unable to do anything.
At least the loss is to a friend.
Match 4: Vs. Rakdos Deck Wins
He seems to splash black for Dreadbore. Otherwise a very traditional red build with cacklers, shred freaks, and ash zealots etc.
G1: He puts pressure with Ash Zealot and Rakdos Shred Freak. I try trostani and it gets dreadbore'd. I try restoration angel and it gets dreadbore'd. I play Thragtusk, Armada Wurm and he loses.
G2: He gets me low, but I miracle an Entreat the Angels for the first time today (for only two angels though) with a Trostani on board and he just loses from there.
I think I got very lucky with my matchups. This deck has a pretty good aggro matchup and that was basically what I faced all day. I am quite confident in my control sideboard but I never got to play against any control (which nobody in my group plays as well). Really love this deck and would continue tweaking it.
Please include what kind of event it was, game/match results for every round, and the deck/play quality of your opponents. Also, it would be helpful if you could explain how you sideboarded for each match.

Game 2: oh i really wished i had a Paraselene in my boards, he misplayed this game, he bonds of faithed my silverblade paladin on turn 2, then i landed strangleroot, then 2 rancors again, GG. lol

Well, that's the deck. Here's how the day went:

4 Geist of Saint Traft
3 Huntmaster of the Fells
4 Restoration Angel
3 Thragtusk
2 Zealous Conscripts
2 Angel of Serenity
4 Farseek
4 Bonfire of the Damned
2 Entreat the Angels
2 Azorious Charm
2 Selesnia Charm
2 Oblivion Ring
2 Detention Sphere
4 Hallowed Fountain
4 Steam Vents
4 Temple Garden
3 Rootbound Crag
4 Hinterland Harbor
3 Clifftop Retreat
2 Sunpetal Grove
4 Izzet Charm
4 Snapcaster Mage
3 Centaur Healer
2 Rest in Peace
1 Mizzium Mortars
1 Cyclonic Rift
G2 - Huntmaster -> Restoration Angel -> Restoration Angel -> Thagtusk -> Game

1 Garruk, Primal Hunter

Match 1: Vs Jund Midrange
Match 3: Vs U/W Humans
G1: I sighed in relief when my opponent played a Hallowed Fountain tapped for his t1 play. I played a pilgrim, then an elf, then a restoration angel, then an Armada wurm when all my opponent played was Thalia, Guardian of Thraben, Elite Inquisitor, Elite Inquisitor, Geist of Saint Traft (who was blocked by my angel). Elite Inquisitors do not stop a pair of rampaging wurms.

Thank you.

Match 1: Vs. Bant enchanment aggro
