I'm playing him as a 3 of in the Saito Naya build and he's been very strong against all matchsup so far. Haven't played vs RDW, but all other aggro builds he lets me remove their guys or draw gas on a stalled board. Control pretty much has to find a sphere for him.
Someone also ran him in a daily I was in today, I was on Esper and he was rg or naya. The guy had Domri on t3 and ult'd him before I could find an answer. I still barely won the game, but I can imagine losing 90% of the time that happens.

Nah, he/she's making a very good point. I point that also echo'd. There's a lot of things you want/need to be doing vs. aggro T3 aside from dropping Domri. The slower the meta, the better Domri will get. I think this is rather obvious though.
If you're using Domri as a card draw engine, you will obviously be disappointed, because Domri is a terrible card draw engine. Either of the Garruk's is better, Triumph of Ferocity is probably better in the decks Domri is going in. Domri is a 3 mana repeatable removal spell with occasional card advantage as a side benefit, he works best when he's flinging Reckoners at cheap aggro creatures.
If true control decks existed in standard, he could be a decent sideboard option. But thats about it. The +1 usually has around a 40% chance of hitting, which isn't good enough for creature based constructed.
1st place finish at Fnm tonight with 40 players. 4 maindeck Domri. I went 3-1 last week and 3rd at a tcg silver (5-1-1). Domri is really strong. I can't even really express it enough.
i have not had a chance to play the card yet and i will eventually but i think he is a great card but it is only situational.
i dont really get y you all are comparing it to lilli they do 2 completly diffrent things ither then the minus in which case she is a a bit better, and he is situational but if you have a big enough creature you can kill whatever.
alot of people put down tibalt but i have used him in decks and he has rarly let me down untill i discard somthing i needed but thats all i really use him for and if they decide to attack him or any other walker i throw out there the more to them cause that just saved me X life. i played an izzet deck tonight and i would drop down jace usually minusing him to draw me 1-2 cards then people would attack/burn him off great u saved me x life ty
I think the real reason he's powerful is fight is a powerful mechanic, we've just never been able to use it because burning Prey Upon or Pit Fight isn't great. People have still tried to use those cards though. Domri allows you to do a lot of the stuff that a green/red deck needs, specifically:
Kill problem creatures on demand. Namely, creatures with flying, first/double strike, or utility creatures like Staticaster and Deathrite Shaman.
Generate card advantage without forcing mana, tempo, and cards into developing a draw engine.
On top of that (because really those are his most useful attributes), he is able to:
Abuse Boros Reckoner, deathtouch, and Zealous Conscripts.
Utilize RG's big creatures and and Utilize their high creature count.
Provides a realistically achievable game swinging ultimate.
Can come down before control is ready to counterspell (unlike Garruk) or can even come down before Thalia.
As a small aside, he also works really well with the Huntmaster/Restoration Angel combination. On turns where you want to pass and not cast a spell, you can still possibly use a removal spell.
For 3 mana in a color notorious for powering out 3 drops on turn 2..
I think underrated might not even be the right word.
It's underrated because players don't test it. Domri is a 1 for 1 removal. Nothing special but if he sticks around then he turns into a card advantage engine.

The reason they dont test him is because they poorly evaluate his abilities.
I think he is fine in aggro matchups, turn 2 Reckoner, turn 3 Domri wipes their board.
But only if you have T1 mana dork, T2 land and Reckoner, T3 Domri Rade... thats half your hand right away, not necessarily ridiculous.
Also kind of useless if they don't play creatures...
Who cares about turn two domri. I won't bother with small critters. Just play the fatties and overwhelm them. That's probably why people don't like his first two abilities. I wouldn't be happy if his +1 got me a 1/1 mana dude either. But +1 into fatty, heck yes!

Don't laugh, if an Esper player doesn't have a Sphere or Ring to directly remove it 1-for-1, after it has probably drawn some number of cards, they WILL lose to its emblem. Domri's emblem is insane and there are decks that have very few ways to prevent it from firing if Domri actually resolves.

Thanks to Gabgabdevo for the awesome sig image!
I'm always looking for foil Madcap Skills and Ghitu Fire-Eater, [trade thread link forthcoming]
He's a Red/Green Phyrexian Arena that also makes a sick combo with some of the formats better cheap creatures like Loxodon Smiter and Boros Reckoner. Glad to see the PT Pros recognized his power and put him to good use. Goes to show that naysayers usually go by their gut opinions and don't bother testing cards, less they prove themselves wrong.

If by useless, you mean, unchecked draw engine, ok.
And yeah, it only happens that way if you have the cards to play in your hand... and playing cards from your hand reduces your hand size...
I don't see how those are arguments against playing domri, since every card has to follow those conditions.
Also, when did I say it was ridiculous? And when did the standard of playable cards become "must do something ridiculous"?

I like it a lot, because it makes the deck much more interesting to play. Is it actually powerful, or just cute? Still not 100% decided on that.

But that doesnt make him amazing.
I think he is solid.
He isnt for every deck or playstyle in his colors.
I think thats why people underrate him, he doesnt do things that are powerful in an obvious way.
