The :symw::symw::symw: makes it a bit hard to cast, but I think it's manageable with maybe 1 or 2 in the deck? It compete's with Hero of Bladehold but I do also like this card very much. This would be a card to keep your eye on in my opinion. I am too trying to think of a way to use this card in such a deck.
The way I see it is that it affects the board as soon as it comes into play which is something Hero does not do (so long as you already have tokens out).
It also helps out defensively to keep tokens from dying to bsz, elesh norn, and slagstorm(assuming you have an HotP out). In championless builds, I can see this card being a good replacement for Hero or possibly Sorin.

I say just keep it in a CotP build and just add the Angel. No Sorin? No Problem. It's easier on the mana base also since we have more white sources then black.
I still want to add another O-ring just for that extra removal, but right now this seems pretty decent.
Well, it's what you/we'll play when Hero rotates out. Not good enough to replace Hero outright.
Yeah, I was starting to kinda come to that conclusion myself. I can't help but think that Hero is just a lil cooler.
But like them other guys said, it is hot that she effects the board as soon as she hits. But yeah, she pretty much still dies to everything Hero dies to and Hero is a lot scarier by itself than the Angel is.
I've been digging her, but I might end up trying Hero again for a bit.
She's the real deal, but I think for awhile Hero of Bladehold will still be better overall. I'm going to test her as a 4-of, but will probably end up dropping down to 2. After Hero rotates though, I would expect her to be our best option on the 4-slot by quite a bit, notwithstanding a possible resurgence of Sorin.
I'm also going to test out Silverblade Paladin. Since most of our tokens should at least be 2/2s most of the time, and we have little trouble generating new ones, he should be a better Mirran Crusader in most games (except of course against black and green decks void of Red Removal). I'm committed to the Champ plan for this coming weekend, but being an Aggro player at heart, I need to make sure I have a solid suite of aggressive Goldfish draws. Champ into Gather/Doomed Traveler into Silverblade Paladin seems like a really solid aggressive start. And after playing this past weekend, I'm pretty convinced that Soulbond is a powerful ability and will have a reasonably strong impact on Standard.

I've never had any trouble with the trip white in the cost. It seems in most builds, black is kind of just a splash for Sorin, Lingering Souls and a few removals spells all of which only need 1 black.
I'm only running like 8-9 Black Sources.
I'm not too hot on Silverblade Paladin in here. I mean, he's cool but not really overwhelming. It feels like you'd at least have to have your tokens be 3/3 before he got really scary. I probably wouldn't main Mirran Crusader either, but if I were to choose between the 2, I'd definitely go with the Crusader. That card is just a friggin nightmare for some decks. A lot of times you can just cheese the opponent with your single, unblockable, indestructible, 4 damage a turn and win on that alone.
I know a few of my decks end up just having to scoop on the spot to a turn 3 Mirran Crusader. And I end up having to dedicate like more than half my sideboard to that card, just to hopefully not get screwed by it next game.
So wait, why aren't people running Sorin anymore? I'm still running 2-3 in mine and never been unhappy with him.
Sorin is very good, no doubt, but he's not as impressive against a lot of decks. His tokens only get bonuses from 1/2 our Anthems (Angel of Jubilation not included), and he doesn't always do enough to turn the game around when we're behind. Mostly, I think it's the fact that against Naya Pod, R/G Aggro, and Titan Ramp decks, he's not aggressive enough and doesn't provide much defense against their overwhelming forces. For 4 mana, when we have no board, he doesn't put down the same clock as something like Hero or Angel do.
That said, I'm running 3 in my sideboard for the control matchups, and for any other time when I realize that yes, he is indeed still a great card in this deck. I would imagine he will have his turn to shine in our maindecks again soon.

After testing her out a bit I kinda like the angel. She makes you win a little faster, but doesn't add the resilience that bladehold adds. Also you need somewhat of an army to make her good as well, but at least she affects the board when she comes into play and shuts down birthing pod and other fun stuff. if you want to go a more aggro way she is a little better but in the mid range build bladehold is a bit better. An aggro W/r Token list could use her though for more win now other than later kinda deals. I dunno though, I'm a little crazy at times

Tokes sure loves mass pumps and this one has a cool lil flying body. I've been digging it enough myself.

I think Craig Wescoe had a deck that didn't run any and he got 2nd place at a tournament somewhere. I don't know which one..Salt Lake City?
It's going to interesting to see what new decks pop up in the next couple weeks, or what old decks got new toys to play with.
