With the Xenagos god being spoiled how are people feeling about this card in a devotion or beat down deck? 3 devotion seems great and Xenagos has the ability to give it haste occasionally. It is a bit unfortunate that Xenagos triggers before Rubblebelt Raiders but I think the card may have a chance to make constructed.

Without the appeal of adding 6 devotion (as we thought may be a possibility pre-spoilers) I'm afraid she has a very tiny shot of seeing any constructed play. She's going to be vying for a spot that already occupied by a plethora of above average 4-drops like Polu, Ghor-Clan, Xenagos and even Polis Crusher (only sees block play, still outclasses RR by a mile).
She doesn't do enough in a vacuum or even in the context of her "optimal" deck to see play, IMO.

While respecting your opinion I must disagree with you, I think Raiders becomes a great card when paired with Xenagos and has the ability to become quite large. I would easily play this over Polis Crusher, I think between the devotion and the upside possibilities it's just too good. I expect Raiders to see at the very least fringe play in the devotion version of this deck.
Pre XenaGod I figured RR was okay for budget, but I agree with Nightcinder once XenaGod hits she will be mean. An immediate threat that needs answering while kicking out 3 Devotion. I like her.
I've also been considering Raiders recently, mostly because I'm currently testing out 2 Stormbreath Dragon in the deck to make up for my lack of 4 Polukranos/Garruk.
I think the biggest appeal of Raiders is the 3 Devotion to either color. My primary reason for wanting it is so I can generate Devotion to either color faster. This is not a good enough reason to run a 4 drop however, and I'm not sure the attacking clause justifies his otherwise weak body. Even in a more aggressive version of this deck, it's unclear how Raiders would do, but I fear he's not the right kind of creature for straight Devotion. Still, I might test him out just to see how the nut draws play out.

I don't think the OP realizes that Rubblebelt Raiders doesn't have haste.
He is saying that he wants Rubblebelt Raiders to get double buff from its counters from Xenagos if that makes sense.
