I hate Jund because its so cookie cutter but I hate U/W so much more because it puts competitive Magic out of reach of so many players, it's ridiculous. I bet you'll find a lot of people who actually agree.
So, you hate the best deck in the format (Jund) which is affordable to most players for being "cookie cutter", despite pretty significant innovations that have occurred to the decklist... and you hate another strong deck in the format (UW Control) for "making competitive Magic out of reach of so many players", when, by definition, anything competitive is out of reach of the average person?
Competitive Magic is out of reach of most players because it costs a TON of money to fly all over the world and play in tournaments. Even if you live in the US, going out to GP DC could easily cost you $600+. Now if you qualify for PT Amsterdam, you might get back that $600, and now have to pay $1500 ~ $2000 in total travel expenses to make it to the tour! Out of the fire, into the frying pan, it does NOT get cheaper.
Take a look at GP DC, we got 1900+ players entering, yet only 220 made it to day 2, and only 16 will finish with a qualification for PT Amsterdam. You have to be in the top 1% of players at the GP just to be "Pro", so even if the deck were free, competitive Magic isn't truly accessible!
That's why Wizards has side events, drafting, EDH, casual leagues, FNM, etc... for all the players who get mad, like you have, and blame money, maybe it would simply be better to be realistic. I think, for most people, the problem is personal, they don't want to look in the mirror and say "you know what, maybe I'm not the hotshot Magic player I think I am, and maybe I'm just blaming money instead of having fun".
Magic is a hobby, have fun with it, maybe competitive Magic ISN'T for you, it's not accessible, it's definitely not going to become accessible.
I had stepped outside to play with my dogs for a short moment, returned inside, grabbed a drink and returned to the PC and G2 was finished? haha my luck.
Overall this GP has been fantastic. I have really enjoyed it and the feed stream coverage has been great.

you missed one funny moment but the guy who lost, mulled too 4 with no lands in hand. he had a bunch of negates in hate with 2 white mana and the other guy spreading seas his plains and than played a spell... too funny.
Who is the kid in the stream feed in the blue shirt. they need to pull him off the mic, he has used the F word like 5 times now. He is very annoying as well.
Waiting on the next round, from the sounds of it, some are already drawing into top8
Eric Froehlich's sideboard isn't listed with his Esper Control list but I'm glad to have some validation behind my decision to run a full suite of both Colonnade and Tar Pit in my own list. Or, you know, following up Fabiano's Boston 5K performance and continuing to show that UWb works in the first place. Esper Charm and highly superior sideboard options > Ajani V.
I also approve of the 3x Jace Beleren in the Super Friends list. Unlike Cancel for permission, there are plenty of viable alternatives for "that" card, such as: Ponder, Courier's Capsule, Sea Gate Oracle, Treasure Hunt in some instances... Please, stop using it.
Might be time for me to hit the stream like everyone else, woo?

not sure tbh... This is the last round i believe.
OMG another jund vs U/W... well U/W/r. I have no idea what might get top 8 besides what we seen on these cam matchs though.
Joor: Yeah, it does. If there aren't any Vengevines in the top 8 the price will probably fall. This is because people don't always think logically.
Damaja: Well ... that's unsurprising. Where's the UWg?!? Come on! Sea Gate Oracle FTW!! Go, last 3 decks, go.

Remember now, this is my unpofficial list. I typed what I heard them saying on the stream for Top 8. So until an official word comes, nothing is for sure, but before I could get the total results, the stream went down. Maintenance or something.

Spike School
Spike doesn't think. Spike doesn't feel. Spike doesn't laugh or cry. All Spike does from dusk till dawn is make the Johnnys die
Stanfar almost punted it by cracking his arid mesa and not playing ajani same turn
I was walking back to my PC waiting on them to SB out and thought the following ....
Watching two U/W decks play each other is like watching two tutles race. So it's funny to see someone say that hehe

Jund will lose, from what I heard, Super Friends has a SB built to beat Jund.

I might want to take you up on that
They are about to announce the Top 8, we will see if the card lives up to all the hype people have been giving it.
