i dont think many ppl play magic online on these boards.
i actually remember losing (although he did kindof out draw me like luck sack) to a mono green with eldrazi, master, ant queen when i was playing u/w/r control.
then... i never saw the deck again :p. so it wouldnt surprise me if the ppl who ran the deck was also the person who i played online.
lol sadly this cant be more than a 60/40 deck against jund.
im playing it on magic online and it def. doesnt "roll" jund.
you are playing against nubs who are running different deck lists from the 5k.
If 3 of the top 8 spots are taken by Nissa Monument, in a field that was predominantly Jund and twilight.dec, that tells you that Nissa Monument rolls Jund.
Jund is not an amazing god deck. Compared to most standards, it is nothing special.
uhm what are you basing this off of? how do you know what they are running?
i cant believe people like you exist in this world. ONLY IN MAGIC THE GATHERING are there people like you who dont know **** but pretend they know everything.
is there a way to block people? cus theres no way to have a slightly intelligent conversation with you.
please all knowing one, are you gonna win another PT this year? or worlds? you should be able to easily you seem to know everything.

How did Nissa Monument get 3 decks in the top 8 if it couldnt beat Jund consistently? Did they just never have to go against the most popular deck in T2 the entire tournament?

you dont even know how many people played jund.
you dont even know how many times the nissa monument decks played against jund.
The people that play legacy / vintage always amuse me. They want their formats to be represented more. They want more tournaments. But when anyone suggests allowing more people access to the formats by reprinting cards, the same people start screaming about the reprint policy.
you dont even know how many times the nissa monument decks played against jund.
just stop. go play in traffic.
Stop with the personal attacks please.
Do you really believe that Jund wasnt the deck in majority at the 5k? Do you honestly believe that in all 7 matches to get top 8, not a single elf deck wound up going against a jund deck? And when they did they just got lucky draws because in playtesting Jund beats Nissa Monument easily, even though you have no idea the decklists of Nissa Monument yet?
thats the real question, you seem to think that mono g aggro is some new innovative deck that nobody has even thought of. im pretty sure most ppl already know the list.
but of course thats not possible, im just horrible, so is everybody but yourself. WE HAVE NO CLUE WHAT WERE TALKING ABOUT RITE?

please stop with the personal insults and answer the questions I asked you two posts above this. I'm not trying to insult anyone I'm just having a discussion about magic. And yes I do think the lists ran are different from the one you posted. For example your deck is missing 4 maindecked GSS, which when Oran riefed becomes a 4/4 pro black that cant be killed by any of junds removal. Even without Oran Reif GSS is hard for jund to deal with.
Turn 1 llanowar or Noble heirarch into turn 2 GSS is hard for stuff like Twilight.dec and Jund to deal with.

That is what you believe? Just asking to clarify
Does it matter..
The point is that everyone is saying "Oh, Nashville was Jund dominated metagame."
There's no numbers to back this up.. whether it's likely or not. He says he tested a Nissa build against Jund, and it's not a roll. So debate that. Do some testing yourself, but you can't just wave a stick at the 5k.
i hate it when ppl who did not even go to the 5k say that the majority of the decks there where jund and vampires. there were A LOT of different decks and i think that the meta is coming together and becoming quite diverse. which is awesome.

I am debating by saying it's likely the 5k lists ran 4 maindecked GSS, which really changes the jund matchup and the deck this guy is running doesnt even have GSS maindecked. At worst GSS is a 3/3 for 3. At best and against popular decks like Jund, GSS is very difficult to deal with. 4 maindecked GSS would change his results vs jund alot. I have been playing monogreen eldrazi without the elf theme and nissas for 3 weeks with stuff like river boas and thornling instead, it does very well vs jund, about 70/30 simply because maindecked GSS and river boa and thornling. but bad vs most other decks so not worth playing imo
The Nissa/chosen engine+Nissa's lifegain should improve the Jund matchup even more-assuming 4 GSS are also run. Indestructables and GSS gives jund fits. Turning all your stuff indestructable, and being able to gain lots of life every turn with Nissa, is something else hard for jund to deal with. Jund is a good deck but not absolutely amazing like alot of people on here think, just like this green Nissa deck is good but not absolutely amazing, its just a good matchup vs 2 popular decks twilight and jund.

Okay.. that's all cool. Did you test the Top 8 Jund list against the Top 8 Nissa Monument list?
If you did, please share more. Since I don't know whether we have official confirmation of either list.

I tested it against Jund from the last 5k that people at the card store netdecked so the jund from this 5k might have changed, but im guessing it didnt because honestly in jund what is there to change, add more terminate, fleshbag maindecked, run burst lightnings, the jund basis imo is pretty much the same with a few tiny changes
I wasnt testing top 8 nissa list because I dont know what it is. How could I know the top 8 nissa list 3 weeks before the nashville 5k? I was just testing my own mono green eldrazi jund, which is much worse without the nissa and elf synergy, but still had a very favorable matchup vs jund.
Maindecking GSS, that is the moral of the story here. Try it.

qft, lol. Mono green? a competitive deck i may pass on playing standard for a while.
wow a deck designed to beat the meta currently, what a concept.
See ya later.
