I am playing the same deck having a record of 16-2. Only lost to naya zoo twice. Beat WW soldiers deck mirror match jund agrro and a weird naya landfall deck. I need to test more control match ups and also try to get some of the cards im missing. but this is waaay beter than mono black vamps
you seem to be stuck between midrange and agro. Choose one and go with it. If you want agro, thin out the top of your curve massively. If you want midrange, you really don't need lacerators and bloodghasts are iffy.

Also, you aren't supposed to "bump" threads
how is he stuck between midrange and aggro? the only thing he uses red for that looks too slow is bit blast, and that gives him CA. aside from that, terminate is a staple and blightning is a very aggressive card.
the only things I'd say to change are, find room for lightning bolt and change the manabase a little. even if bolt shuts off the nocturnus, it's not that big of a problem all things considered. bolt's worth it. as far as the land change goes, take out two refuges and add in a couple mountains. path exists, and you're going to be seeing a lot of it, so why not let their removal fix your mana for you?
Take your monoblack deck, then set aside 14 swamps. Add 4 Creeping Tar Pits, 4 Darkslick Shores, 4 Drowned Catacombs, and 2 Jwar isle Refuge and add 4 Jace, the Mindsculptors. Your monoblack deck is instantly better. Better yet, drop those refuges, throw in some islands and some mana leaks, and lo and behold, you're now playing a real deck. Congratulations. Welcome to the world of competitive M:TG.
from what i tested this is a bit like faeries in a sence. I tested mono black and if they play bambi its GG but with red you have reach and more removal which is never bad. If you have trouble with nocturnus with red play with border posts as lands them coming into play taped dosent realy mater. You just have to play the deck a bit more agrro control style and it just rocks

Yours seems to have alot of trouble with removal as a whole. Terminate and Blast being your only removal spells aren't the most optimum of choices. Gatekeeper is good, as an edict type spell. but what can you do (outside of Terminate) to Kill BSA?
My build uses Alot more removal, but it's less aggro. (however it's still pretty sick :P)

yea my list is more like ravarshi adding red gives you more removal which seems to be very good in the upcoming t2 i dont know exactly how my list will end up im playing allot this week so il post up the list by friday hopefully

sanguine blood is terrible in an aggro deck and your deck is really removal heavy. 17 is a little ridiculous. Dark temper is also pretty terrible. You would probably do better with more threats and/or blightning. Also run at least one more land.
ya Ravarshi i think my deck is more efficient and wont run out of steem at turn five. You dont have any big creatures that can end the game. one day of judgement and your screwed. And why the sanguine bond? thats to slow in a aggro deck and it is hardly used in control.
I don't have any hard numbers on this, but I'm targeted more often than a black guy driving a beat-up sedan with a broken tail-light and no license plate, and Cy's well aware of that.
