Thought I'd drop my list - for posterity more than anything else. I played this last Friday at FNM and went udefeated in four rounds of play. I wouldn't take this exact list to a PTQ without more testing, but for a fun time at FNM, it's pretty good.
Note: The manabase was pretty bad because I threw it together based on the last time I played FNM before rotation. That deck was the "Cascaderang" deck which featured Boomerang and Rain of Tears - both of which sadly rotated.
Round 1 I played against Mono-black aggro whcick did some fast damage. I lost game one on a mull to five with one land - never drawing the second land. Game two was all me.
Game three included my favorite play of the night. I'm facing down a Hypnotic Specter, two Black Knights, and some other dork. I am pretty much dead if I don't draw an answer. It's my turn 7, and I draw Enigma Sphinx. I decide to let my deck bail me out, play my seventh land and hit the best cascade ever. My Sphinx fins Enlisted Wurm, which cascades into Bloodbraid Elf, which finds me Volcanic Fallout to wipe his board. We were the last match playing, so everyone saw it. The reaction was priceless.
I played a kitkin deck (2-0), a Grixis control deck (2-0), and a R/W aggro deck with the new Savannah Lion, Hellspark Elemental, and Hell's Thunder (2-1). All-in-all, it was a fun night.

Wow, that is a godly cascade. Yesterday during playtesting (Jund version) with my teammate I went Bituminous Blast > Bloodbraid Elf > Lightning Bolt TWICE in one game! I was blown away by the luck - why doesn't that ever happen at a big tourney? lol.
If it can place 4th at a nationals, it works You're just approaching it wrong.
Or I was playing it in a different meta, maybe?
Also, if the guy was up against lots of Fae, he'd do fine, or, at some Nationals, one can X-3 constructed and get in on Drafting prowess. Then, get paired against Fae once before getting knocked out. One 4th at 1 Nationals is hardly impressive to me unless it's USA or Japan.
Also, if you paid any attention to the post, I was talking about the bad version with Hackblade and Munge. I actually designed a deck eerily similar to those Nationals lists for my friend to play at the Boston 5K, but he misplayed and lost out. It was probably ~8-10 spells different, but would have been 4-6 different if lightning bolt had been out back then :P.
Yes, I do suppose that is an acceptable trade (assuming of course that they aren't also getting your BBelf or something else with it).
But that's the problem with Ball Lightning exactly! If you're playing Ball Lightning, you're trying to kill your opponent as fast as possible, I assume. If your opponent is using removal on a threat like Ball that attacks once and goes away, they're trying to fend off damage; this makes you the aggro deck and your opponent the control deck. If they can successfully stay alive for ~6 turns, they'll probably stabilize. So you don't want to be playing threats that die to practically anything, you don't want to play burn that can be stopped with removal, and if your burn spell gets stopped, it's a BAD thing for you.

Yap, I agree. Now, show me a burn spell (non-creature) that does 6 damage for RRR and THAT card I will most certainly be putting in my deck.
I feel the sideboard is good vs. 5CC and the deck works rather well vs. elf-ball and kithkin. Sable stag gives good protection vs. fae and the snakeform works well vs. colossus.
If I got my hands on some colossus, does anyone feel that they should/could be played?
o.k sfter that moment of hilarity I think after watching thee different national coverage it is safe to assume 4 md anathemancer are required, what thoughts, I am currently thinking of switching m finks to the sb in favor of mancers.

Are you worried about other Jund decks? The answer is the same. Sideboarding Colossi is good against jund and playable against Fae if you want them. It all depends on what matchups you want to tech for.
Well, if you don't have Pulses you should probably be looking at another deck, that's the sad true... The topic is in the "Competitive" area and we all asume that cards are no problem here to develop the best decks...
Changing the subject, I tested the list that finished 2nd at the Spanish Nationals yesterday and it works great... I considered the list that uses Cryptics but the real thing is that I consider myself a better aggro player and it's really important to feel confortable with a deck...
Has anyone tried that list too? Here it is:
Jonathan Cano – Jund Aggro
2009 Spain National Championship
Been trying the Conley-deck since Nationals on MODO. I like the change u made -2 Cloudthresher -1 Shriekmaw for +3 Bitu Blast. Works much better in my mind, especially since Fae is faerly (excuse the pun) absent on MODO for the moment. Feels like im only facing GW, Jund, Cascade.dec (and elves!, but without the lord its not that good). Well, still undecided if i like Caldera, might go -1 and +1 land (or pulse). And I think I still like my 5cb-deck better (Cryptic FTW!).
Yes, if you feel you have a stable manabase for Cryptic, and it wont slow down the rest of your deck (like it does in 4CCascade), then run it.
The reason I put all 3 'Threshers SB, is because against tokens, I can almost always do a direct swap of -3 Hellion +3 Thresher, which also allows me not to be killing my own board.

I cant cascade of a mnnequineed bloodbraidelf or enlistedwurm can I?
Negatory, Ghost Rider... read the text after Cascade:
When you cast this spell, exile cards from the top of your library until you exile a nonland card that costs less. You may cast it without paying its mana cost. Put the exiled cards on the bottom in a random order.
You have to cast the spell; mannequining it doesn't cast the spell that is BBE or EW, just puts the resolved creature into play.
Yuup, the responses are correct. However, you can instant speed draw 2 cards or destroy target non-black creature with a body. Which, as you can imagine is pretty good. T3 evoke drifter, T4, hold mana open for Fallout, etc, if not, EOT bring back Drifter. It's pretty good in testing.

I used to... then the Conley Woods deck that did so well decided not to. I don't know the exact reasoning, other than it's a slower version, and he felt that Finks was better in the meta currently.

Everybody plays lightning bolt, that's why. Everybody plays stag, so everybody plays lightning bolt to deal with stag, which also kills ram-gang. Finks doesn't die to bolt. I don't know if that's their reasoning, but it made 100% intuitive sense to me.

Yupp, I'd agree with that assessment. Especially as someone who was running Stag MD, I can understand why you would want something as resilient as Kitchen Finks.

Yep, I run 4x Finks MD too!!
Here is my current list after recent modifications:
So far, this build has been totally pounding my RB aggro deck based on Shin's list, and also my Bantcrasher deck.
I still need to do more testing against of this version vs 5cc, 5cb, Fae, and Kithkin/GW tokens and possibly make some sideboard changes. My next PTQ isn't until 8/22 so hopefully I can get a good amount of testing in.
I was running Black Knight MD instead of Anathemancer for a week or so, but after seeing the amount of 5cc and 5cb decks being played right now I decided to put 'mancer back in.
Yes, I do suppose that is an acceptable trade (assuming of course that they aren't also getting your BBelf or something else with it).
