ok, i kinda wanna keep the theme zoo animals, however the deck isnt going to stick to the 20 lands/20 creatures/20 spells ratio. I would like to keep it semi-budget also, although in a few weeks it shouldn't be an issue.
I know... no BBE, however i dont feel i need it. Its too low toughness, and doesn't survive removal like spellbreaker does.
EDIT: the Mayael's Aria aren't working out as well as i thought... replacements? I put act of trason in there, as i think so far thats a viable option. OR it could be 3 cliffrunner behemoth... lemme know what u think
too slow... i think im going with Cliffrunner behemoth, as its a good beater and allows me to gain some much needed life against elfs, soldiers, and the WW decks. this deck hosed R/G beats, which I feel is a tremendous thing.
ummm... semi-budget usually means under $100, not spending $100 for each playset in the deck.
Under $100 is a very low budget, not a semi-budget. You should maybe consider running Naya Hushblade and/or Jund Hackblade. I'm guessing you won't shell out for dual lands, so if you are having trouble with mana you could always run Terramorphic Expanse to help out, it's a pretty underrated card. The Banefire is probably not really worth it. And whether you like it or not, Bloodbraid elf is one of the best cards in the format, so you should atleast attempt it in the deck. Good luck!!!
