There is a good chance you will need to continue ramping in order to get into T2 rain of tears followed by T3 Poison/Drain well. While operating in Green and Black, I would suggest also running Primal Command and Liliana Vess so you can keep topdecking unspeakable ruin for the opponent.
No Fulminator Mage? Also Creeping Mold might be a consideration, if only because it does the LD and can also nuke artifacts and enchantments. RGB seems best for LD, but Ajani Vengeant is tasty also. Too bad all the LD is so pricey, but as a basis I would go 4 x Fulminator Mage and 4 x Rain of Tears as the base and work from there, deciding if RWB (access to Ajani Vengeant as the red LD) or RGB (access to green LD, Deus, Primal Command, etc.) would be best.
EDIT: RGB may still be the best, because that way you can access Birds, like this:
T1: Land, Birds.
T2: Land, Rain of Tears
T3: Land, Drain the Well
T4: Land, Polluted Bonds? (probably too janky, but man I'd love to actually find a use for that thing), or Deus.
T5: Profit.
Ezuri, Renegade Leader (Aggro/Combo - Favorite) Skullbriar, the Walking Grave (Sac and Grave hijinks) Azusa, Lost but Seeking (Landfall hijinks) Kaalia of the Vast (Heavily modded)

Creeping mold >> poison the well
Noble Hierarch>> birds
any opinion is welcome...
Noble Hierarch < Birds in a RGB deck. Hierarch only produces one of those colors, so > or < depends on the deck.

That is an interesting point of view making a discard/land destruction deck
I am going to try and make a deck that can go with this type of theme and find out which one plays better
There was a deck in standard with Oddisey/Onslaught which used braids and magnivore as the kill method coupled with plenty of discard and land destruction which was really good. It might help to dig up a list to start from there. For the start, I guess the fulminator mage works as a braids replacement.

My current build, has gone 3-1 at last few FNM's ( trying for that 4-0 ) and you could sub savage lands for reflecting pools.......I just dont use then any more because I upped my Treetop Village count to 4 and didnt want to many comes into play tapped lands....
I havealso felt that discard is counter productive in the right build. If your deck is working, they will be discarding at the end of their turn anyway....
( though pinpoint hand disruption may do well ie: thoughtsieze....if you test it lemme know how it does. Might be good for side board?)
Anyway im glad to see more people interested in standard Ponza builds. People like myseld and Lastsonofa have been working this for a while now. Check out the thread http://forums.mtgsalvation.com/showthread.php?t=146487

I am curious to know what your meta looks like because you are only running Fulminator Mage and Rain of Tears as your only land destruction

Well, dont forget Deus and the makeshift's. The makeshift can pull double duty on the Deus and Fulminator, so I count them as neo-LD. Also, my build is more of a Ponza build, I want to destroy your tempo enough to gain the early advantage with a huge creature while you are sitting there with only two lands and no answers.

trainwrecka , i have played LD for years and years, let me tell ya, the last thing you want in your deck is Howling mine. without HM they have a 30% chance of drawing new land, addinga Howing mine increases that to 60%... really bad idea
go with Garruk wildspeak to help the deck ramp and give some slots to Charnelhoard Wurm to replay cards in the 'yard
I have found howling mine to work extremely well in my testing. Usually the land destruction comes to an end, and you go into top deck mode very fast. Depending on what you draw then, will make or break your win. If you keep drawing 2, 3, 4 or even 5 a turn the heat never stops.
Boomerang and Consign keeps land going back to their hand at instant speed. You will find them discarding A LOT of cards because they lack the mana to play them. All the while you own the board. Remi your graveyard to keep the hurt coming.
T2 Fulminator or Rain is dirty, but rang and consign give you additional options.
Still looking at the mana. Thinking of dropping the 4 Vivids and adding 2 more Battlefields and 2 more Brushland. Don't like the tapping in.
How consistent is your deck because it looks like it relies on Howling Mine to keep you going
Also have you thought about running Creeping Mold it is probably one of the best land destruction cards because of the ability to enchantments and artifacts as well

I see you have plenty of LD, but what is the definitive win condition? Or do you just try to run them out of cards?

You could try taking out 1 Violent Ultimatum and 1 Deus of Calamity for 2 Charnelhoard Wurm
also does 8 come into play tapped lands slow down your early game like BoP, Fertile Ground, Fulminator Mage, and Rain of Tears or not... Just Curious
BTW I decided on -1 violent ultimatum - 1 banefire +2 Charnelhoard Wurm
