I'll mention my results also since everybody else is doing it ;).
I think I am missing 2 SB cards, cant remember them. I went to play at some new FNM place in NJ, about 22 participants. My friend opened a Stillmoon Cavalier so I decided to put it in for good luck.
Round1 Kithkin: 2-0
Sower of Temptation is too good in this match up, at least I did not have a problem even with mediocre hands.
Round2 G/W (goyf, liege, finks): 2-0
G1: Kept a hand of 5 mana sources + 2 runed halos (not the best play) but stabilized by drawing careful consideration and playing 2 sower of temptations in a row (taking goyf/liege)
G2: Good hand, he plays T3 stillmoon cavalier, I play my own, he follows with another. I draw sower and take his, then draw another sower next turn and its pretty much game...
Round3 fairy : 1-1
G1: Roughly after 8 turns, I have 2 sowers in my hand, mulldrifter in play and runed halo naming mistbind. He has double scion, mindbind and a bb token. He gives the game away by attacking with both scions... from there sowers went to work and the game was over.
G2: I mulligan and then I was overran with turn 2 BB, turn 4 Mistbind, etc.

Top 8:
Round 4 R/G Mana ramp: 2-0
G1: Did not have the best hand, had to wrath 2x just 1 creature. Stabilized at 6 life and drew the combo pieces.
G2: He plays mid game magus of the moon, I had no problem with blue mana and was not worried, his mana ramping was pretty insane. In a few turns he plays Akroma, Angel of Fury. I did not expect that!! I did have a runed halo but no way to play it. But I played something like: Venser, bounce sower to my hand, play sower and take control of magus and sac magus to greater gargagon and play runed halo and game was pretty much over after that :).
Round 5 Teferi Control: 2-1
Some really really controlish deck. Game 1 took like 20 turns but I finally beat him down
G2: He resolved 3-4 Visions, his counterspells just overwhelmed me. He extirpated mulldrifter and lark... I got beat down by assembly tokens.
G3: This game took about 30 turns! Sometime mid game he draws an exterpate and plays it on body double, while i am holding 2 in my hand! Luckily I had Teferi in play so I got 1 body double in play. He later slaughter pacted both of them but at least I made him waste a card :).
Late game I kept hitting him with mutavault, got him down to 4, I drew 2 remove souls meantime. Next turn I hit him with mutavault, he plays teferi, I play remove soul, he plays pact of negation, I play another remove soul, he plays another pact of negation! He then beats me down for a few turns (i was at 24), I drew stillmoon cavalier and he scoops the next turn
I split the prize with another lark deck (U/W) just because it was soooooo late! Overall it was a fun experience and I will really miss this deck!
You do realize that you shouldn't have been able to play the body double once he played Extirpate due to the fact Extirpate has Split Second ... so the Teferi control player shouldn't have wasted the second spell (slaughter pact) on your body double
Well actually if I knew that, I wouldnt have done it.
I am not an advanced player, but I do know about split second. The problem is, I always hear that because of teferi, spells are played at "sorcery speed". Now that I re-read the card, I see how the mis-interpretation could have occurred. So during the game because of my own teferi in play it was my understanding that he cant play spells at instant speed. There were multiple people watching the game and nobody questioned it, the teferi player was a lot more experienced then me. It was not a game defining moment but now it sux to know that I made such a mistake :mad:.

Hey I still love this deck and want to play it a little pre-rotation, unfortunately, I only have 1 greater gargedon and don't want to buy anything until alara. I have pretty much every card this deck has used other than that (not kidding). What I'm really asking for is for someone to build a deck for me. My meta consists of pretty much all of the competitive decks right now EXCEPT faeries :). Unfortunately, it's been replaced my an equal number of merfolk decks. Throw something together for me please.
I would just consult some Nationals decks, there was plenty of placing UW builds that didn't include Garg and didn't include the combo.
That isn't to say that a deck that utilizes Reveillark won't still be around, but the combo deck is certainly done for. The UW tempo builds are less than stellar, too, with the loss of Venser and Riftwing Cloudskate.

I mean you could say that's almost better than Tormod's Crypt; as the second effect doesn't even tap it to take effect, you can do effect 1, and if it's not enough, you can play effect 2.... damn

At least its a common, so it won't become a chase rare and cost me a bunch of cash.
Tormod's Crypt was in this format the whole time, too. This new card isn't all that different from Crypt, so it's nothing this deck hasn't faced before.
no, it's not that different, but the re-usability (each turn) on its first ability is much better than crypt... the second ability is the crypt-like panic button, but then you get a card to boot.
hi guys, i use rg mana ramp (hehe). do you sideboard runed halo now? and (although i sort of know the answer already), is mwonvuli acid-moss ineffective versus lark? i play it more for the rampant growth into akroma effect rather than the LD (although randomly color/mana screwing helps, hehehe)
p.s. teferi's moat is not sb'd much now right?

First of all I'd like to thank many users (specially BL) for helping me playing Reveillark very successfully, I was first in standings with a 6-0-1 in my regionals, and this weekend I'll play my nationals, and I plan on taking Reveillark as well. Can you give me any sugestions if you think i should sideboard differently? Also any opinions on the free slot. I can't really predict the metagame.. RDW, Kithkins and B/G will show up in big numbers alongside Mirror.. Swans Toast and Faeries may appear in small numbers...
I would go with +1 Faerie Macabre in the board, or make room for two Extirpate.
a friend of mine says he disagrees in taking out consideration against beatdown. Although against Kithkins, they have a super fast start and sometimes not even a wrath of god is enough.. that's why i take them out... but I'm not so sure about Elves or Monored.
How would u sideboard against the mirror (now having 3 macabre) and against merfolks?

Do not side out Consideration VS Elves. Against insanely fast decks like Kithkin and Mono Red, sure.
And please post your main deck, not just a link. Some of us cant view it from certain locations....

well since everyone is saying this deck is dead on rotation. what will everyone be playing after rotation? and is there any chance of altering this deck to the new format? I for one haven't tested much of the new set so have no clue. I'm thinking we can still play this deck but it needs an overhaul

I think we can play decks that include Reveliark and UW, but the rest of the deck is essentially gone. The things that stay around are signature UW cards and Reveliark.
it's still too early to think about post-rotation choices... wait until alara is completely spoiled, at least. who knows what the metagame will look like?

Kemono i would cut 1 blast and 1 careful for 2 more riftwatchers in the the main deck i mean with rdw seeing so much play riftwatchers necessary.
as for the 1 that won nationals i like to see the lists going blue white again i think its much stronger as it has the ability to combo over and over again if it needs to and with rdw killing fae there is no reason to keep using the red really as resloving an extra spell vs them is not hard at all
