Ok so I am running a mono green aggro deck for when eventide comes out. I've tried it a bit and it does really well against some decks, and on the play I tend to win a lot. So here it is, what do you think.
Ok so here are some thing behind it. I am only doing forests because everything else is a little slower. Even mutavaults can slow this deck down, which sounds dumb, but I would rather have mana open to pump twinblade, or put down more creatures.
Creature choice is a bit obvious in most aspects, I was going for an as fast as possible build obviously. Viper is there to either deal with threats, or draw cards, both of which are useful.
And as for spells, there is a small amount but they all add something. Primal command might be better sideboard though, but if I don't win fast enough it can get me a creature I need and another beneficial ability. Snakeform tends to be a 2 for 1, and manamorphose is amazing in this deck.
Any thoughts?? I like how it works out and it beats a lot of deck pretty consistently, but I wouldn't mind sideboarding Primal Commands.
Manamorphose will slow this deck down more than mutavaults. I'm really a critic of using it in non-combo and mono-colored decks, but ever since Nettle Sentinel came out, I've changed my mind.
GB Elves <-man I hate this deck, it has a 50/50 matchup against Tier 1/2 but loses to jank aggro most of the time. UB Faeries <-only reason it's good is because of all those people that's still playing 5CC. WB Tokens <-so boring, there's only 2 ways to play this deck. RB Blightning <-Autopilotting you to victory 0-2 drop.
???B Super Secret Tech <-dude, this thing is nuts! 90/10 against all matchups.
Manamorphose doesn't do that at all, it draws a card, and helps play battalion on turn 2. Whenever I have it in my hand its usually a good thing rather then a bad.
yeah why wouldnt u run llanowar instead of the 1 drop pump guy.... hes not needed as much as a 2nd turn groundbreaker imo.. not to mention it also frees up another combo to get talara out 2nd turn.

I don't think primal command belongs here, at least not in the MD and Ohran Viper is not a fast-win card (unless you have doran) so I'd cutthem two and groundbreaker because it looks awesome on papaer and doesn't turn out that good. In their place I might add a bit of a warrior theme with Bramblewood Paragon an Obsidian Battle-Axe, when I've played similar decks that's always worked.

Saemar is not a wizard, is not fighting on a battlefield and is not casting spells.
i agree with the saemar, make it a warrior deck dude, just cut the groundbreakers and ohran vipers make it warrior, cut 1 garruk also. Put in 3-4 bramblewood paragon, some tattersomething maniac hesa warrior. boggart ram gang (warrior), alot of cool warrior stuff. And get rid of primal, if u want life go finks. and add some mutavaults. And then itll be a pretty sick warrior deck.

I don't like Snakeform: it stops opposing Doran and CC's in their tracks, but I'd rather you have something more proactive - aka Tower Above as GoGoAggro said. [Or you could put Tower Above in there in place of something else, but really,it's pump/trample/lure effect/wither effect in one. I don't like Goyf in this deck - it's a bit slow for the goal of cards smash, and I'd run Wren's Run Blademaster instead. I'd also cut a 4-drop for a 2-drop: you only have 8 2-drops, and the Battalions usually can't be dropped turn 2 anyways. Maybe ... Elvish Warrior would do the trick? Actually, looking at the deck again, as good as Primal Command is I'd rather see it sideboard. There's your cut.

In that case I would say play mono G Elf-Ball. Bring in Heritage Druid, Llanowar Elves, Overrun, etc... instead of Garruk, Ohran Viper, Snakeform, etc... and you'll be crazy fast.
4 Nettle Sentinel
4 Tattermunge Maniac
4 Talara's Battalion
4 Bramblewood Paragon
4 Imperious Perfect
4 Boggart Ram-Gang
4 Chameleon Colossus
4 Manamorphose

4 Garruk Wildspeaker
24 Land
This is for block, in Standard, I'd replace the Maniacs with Llanowars.
Edit: I guess you could put in Wren's Run Vanquishers, but I'm not sure what exactly to take out. At first glance, it looks like Boggart Ram-Gang, but it's just so good turn 3 after a Bramblewood Paragon.
You could also play the new Twinblade Slasher in place of Tattermunge Maniac, since the Imperious Perfect pumps it.
