Looking at these new Goblins coming out and I am getting excited I know you are too! You're here
because you also love the reckless nature of the Goblin-kind. Their willingness to sacrifice themselves
for glory! Kind of romantic in a way... maybe even honorable...
My first and favorite goblin is Siege-Gang Commander
Pros: More 1/1 Goblins, sac + damage fun
cons: Mana Cost
Then there's the Goblin Chainwhirler which is possibly getting banned? *shrugs*
I'm brewing a RW goblin GFG with Anointed Procession. Main reason is that if I have both GFG and Anointed on the field with a Siege-gang in the grave it nets me 2 Siege-gang and 12 goblin tokens. Seemed like game if they don't have a sweeper at that point.
Banefire is their undoing. Swing out to settle the wreckage and sac out to fumigate and get that mana for stuff... that's why instances are good. and the dark dweller goblin is going to be legit af
The big question is "why play a two drop that costs mana to flip the top card of the deck AND sac a creature when we got Chandra, Torch of Defiance and Bomat Courier?" Well, the main reason is it doesn't clutter the 4 and 5 drop space in the goblin build. The other reason is that it has synergy with stuff that likes things going to the grave.
Right now it looks like goblins has a framework for some kind of brutal rakdos smack down strategy, but the set that should have the brutal rakdos enablers to make the deck run isn't coming until fall. We got Dark-Dweller oracle, Goblin Firebrand, Skirk Prospector, and Goblin Instigator. What we need is some kind of payoff and a few more token generators. It's really hard to hit a Siege-gang commander before the opponent is able to toss down stuff like Lyra Dawnbringer. That and I think control usually has enough mana by that point to hold up for a Disallow or Admiral's Order.
On the flip side, goblins should have zero issues hitting ascend to get a payoff from Golden Demise and Vona's Hunger. If the deck is mono colored than Goblin Chainwhirler is a pretty good option as well.
1. (Ravnica Allegiance): You can't keep a good esper control deck down... Or Wilderness Reclamation... or Gates...
2. (War of the Spark): Guys, I know what we need! We need a cycle of really idiotic flavor text victory cards! Jace's Triumph...
3. (War of the Spark): Lets make the format with control have even more control!
Yeah, I was playing around yesterday with a deck list. I am really convinced that Dark-Dweller Oracle wants something like Blood Artist on the field and possibly Impact tremors. The reason why is because we got Skirk Prospector as a free sacrifice outlet that also generates mana. So the idea would be to have the goblin version of Blood Artist on the field or an Impact Tremors, then use Dark-dweller Oracle with something like Goblin Warchief to just do incidental damage. Goblin Trashmaster fits the curve nicely as the top end since it buffs all the small 1/1 goblins.
I think it's possible to do a deck like it in the format, but it would have to rely on the creature itself doing damage rather than some synergy board piece. I just think that if someone is building goblins right now the better card draw engine is Chandra, Torch of Defiance. It's an old, beaten, and in a few months rotating drum, but she is still the strongest engine for a mid-game the deck has available.
If wizards is going where I "think" they are going, we might see something like this come fall. They just have so many free goblin sacrifice outlets that if they don't have a way to capitalize on them dying with Rakdos, I just don't know.
Right now, I think the support is mostly just linear...
I like Flame Lash more than the goblin sacrifice spell since it doesn't require a creature on the opponents side of the field to work. The goblin version needs a target on the field and if it is kicked, can coincidentally hit the opponent in the face.
Also, Squee, the Immortal is there to chump block for days. He just doesn't die and can help with double blocks.

This is what I am thinking
4 Goblin Trashmaster
4 Goblin Chainwhirler
4 Goblin Warchief
4 Goblin Instigator
4 Skirk Prospector
4 Shock
3 Banefire
23 Mountains
Banefire is good no matter what

I just don't like how Dark-Dweller Oracle hurts the board in order to gamble on a new card. It needs some kind of benefit from sacrificing the creature, like running the m19 signpost card Poison-tip Archer. I'd say the best option mathematically to run in that spot is Viashino Pyromancer or Earthshaker Khenra. Save sideboard space for Direfleet Daredevil.
To illustrate what I'm going on about...
4 Goblin Instigator
3 Goblin Trashmaster
4 Goblin Warchief
4 Impact Tremors
4 Mogg War Marshal
2 Siege-Gang Commander
4 Skirk Prospector
4 Warren Weirding
4 Zulaport Cutthroat
