Looks like the Dominaria text spoilers are out. I did a quick look and didn't see much in there for us, but there's still a few things that I liked below.
First, as someone who plays the GB build, I am excited to see Woodland Cemeterybeing reprint to help mana-fix without the help of ETB tapped options (orchard or wilds).
Phyrexian Scriptures looks like a potentially nasty way to snag some +1/+1 counters, then quasi boardwipe, then swing for high damage.
Kazarov, Sengir Pureblood is a bit expensive (7 CMC) but has some nasty +1/+1 synergies with Ballista and Snake if there's ever a way to make it viable.
Triumph of Gerrard looks like a cheap way to snag 2 rounds of +1/+1 counters to lead into a big 'ole flying attack. Would require a white splash to pull off, not to mention 3 turns to wind up.
And for those of us considering splashing red, Garna, the Bloodflame may be a dirty endstep trick to recycle a Walking Ballista to replay the next turn. Content by CrimsonPhoenix7. - hoser2
Yeah, I'm gonna have to say we got shafted pretty hard here. None of the cards suggested above are actually competitive.
At this point, I'm gonna have to go with Llanowar Elves as the one card I could see go in. It allows us to protect our many important turn 2 creatures with Blossoming Defense right out of the gate, and in general it lets us ramp to Hydra / Gearhulk whatever without clogging up the turn 2 slot even more with Servant of the Conduit. But honestly, I'm not sure we're getting a boost.
I think Song of Freyalise is a thing (if not the thing spoiled so far). Not sure Constrictor is the best shell for it, but it's completely absurd in token decks. The third counter is like an Overrun effect. Creatures get pumped, attack with vigi and indestructible, it's a free attack in a way, and it can very easily be a win on the spot (quite easy to see 3-4 creatures attack for a total ~15 damage).

Pioneer - A bunch of stuff Modern - Humans Legacy - Grixis Phoenix / Death & Taxes
Adventurous Impulse might be worth looking into. We always want to get our snek + cub/siphoner/balista ASAP, and this helps while letting us lower the land count.
I disagree. If you play Llanowar Elves, Servant of the Conduit gets cut and your Cub suddenly loses some of its power. At this point, Untamed Kavu could be a consideration, and Song of Freyalise + Llanowar would help kick the Kavu here. The deck can certainly shift towards an energyless version (Siphoner would be the last bit, in contention with Jadelight or Branchwalker, because of Climb).

Steel Leaf Champion and Llanowar Elves seem the most likely candidates
The legendary mana elf might be capable of something amusing Marwyn, the Nurturer pity there's no Hunting Triad in standard, she does do interesting things with Rhonas the Indomitable or his monument Rhonas's Monument or an elf-centric build. Helm of the Host is expensive but most creatures have ETB's so copies are doing something; don't let your opponent put it on their Combat Celebrant
the GB spell-lands are alright; extra value if you're not heavily invested in Sultai.

Forcing a single archetype in all formats: too many colors, bad mana.

Elves.
Looks like a huge upgrade in a deck with 4x Blossoming Defense and 8x unbeatable 2-drops -or- 4x Jadelight Ranger.
